Safety, trust & environment
I stay positive, calm, and gentle in my interactions. My patience is my best asset for building trust with your pet. I want them (and you!) to feel like they're in safe hands while you're gone. I like to stick to their routine as much as possible to help keep them relaxed and happy. I also make sure their environment stays tidy and clean.
Information kathryn r. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special health needs, behavioral challenges, or preferences that I can account for! I love learning as much about my furry clients as I can ahead of time so I can make a good first impression.
A typical day
I love to take my time and build a relationship with my clients. I observe them to get a feel for their personality and preferences. I'm happy to go slow and give lots of love with the seniors or romp and play with young and energetic pets.

Patient and Dedicated Pet Caretaker
Pet care experience
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to consider me. I've been a lifelong pet owner, and welcome all types of animals! I spent two years in the professional dog boarding industry, and now I'm looking to work on a more personal level with my two and four legged clients. I'm comfortable handling dogs and cats of all ages, temperments, and medical needs. Patience and kindness is my motto. I promise to treat your furbabies like they were my own, and send you lots of photo updates! Notable past clients have included a 20 year old orange tabby, 2 guinea pigs, and a terrier mix overcoming severe fear and anxiety issues. No animal is too big or too small, too old or too large. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions! - Kathryn

Reviews

Kathryn is absolutely wonderful with my two pups. She realized right away little Dukie does better with his “momma” on their walks so she takes both the pups together. Kathryn is extremely kind, trustworthy, and very good at communicating. It takes so much off my plate knowing I have a dependable dog walker/sitter for when my baby gets here, absolute Godsend!

Kathryn did a great job with Pookie and Pumpkin. She shared updates and pictures. I feel she is very trustworthy. She took extensive notes during our meet and greet visit. She followed all of my instructions.

Kathryn was great and very thorough! Our kitty was very happy to have her visit!
