About: I have taken care of a wide range of animals, including farm, exotics, and cats/dogs. I have also worked in vet med in the past. Currently, I am a stay at home wife with no children so there is plenty of time, love, energy, and patience for your beloved pet. I have a fenced in yard on base. We do have two cats but they have been around other cats and a dog. They’re friendly

About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

“I was desperate to find another place for my dog, Pepper, for doggy daycare and overnight stays. I happen to find Tanya and I could not be more happy and blessed to have found someone as honest and who loves my Dog like her. She gave me updates and sent pics throughout the day, played with her, and treated her like she was part of their family. Her boys liked my dog too (except for the excessive kisses she wanted to give them lol). It was important to me that I found someone who would treat and love my dog as much as I do and Tanya does just that. Pepper loves going to Tanya’s so much she sits by my car hoping to go back! Her dog Raven welcomed Pepper as well and has great energy. I 100% would recommend Tanya and her family!!”

About: Hey my name is Stephanie, and my partner Sam and I are looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! Your pet is in great hands because: 1. I spent 6 years as a vet tech 2. We both only work part time jobs in the winter, so your pet will never spend more than an hour or two alone 3. We have 2 very sweet dogs who love to play, but we also have areas to keep everyone separate when they decide it’s time for a nap. 4. Your pet will never be tied up outside, but will also get plenty of outside time! 5. You’ll get pictures of your happy pet every time they stay with us If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out! I am a stay at home mom so the only time your fur baby will be alone is when I go to the grocery store, and when I go for walks with my little one. If they are good on lead then it’s likely I will take them with me. Dogs get plenty of outdoor time if they want it. While indoors get to play with the tornado of dog toys strewn throughout the house. They will also get plenty of human interaction, our dogs would even say they get too much at times haha.

“Malia was able to watch my Border Heeler puppy Ghana on short notice and sent updates to let me know she was okay. Ghana played with Malias dog and had a blast the entire time I was gone. I've had the pleasure of helping out 20 different Fairbanks families so far and look forward to growing that circle soon! In 2009, I completed a vocational school program in Small Animal Science: a two-year course designed for training future veterinary technicians. From there I worked at several boarding kennels where I cared for dogs and cats staying for day care as well as boarding. I now have my B.S. in Wildlife Biology, but still enjoy caring for more domesticated animals of all sizes. I have a very friendly Border Collie who I am training to eventually compete in agility competitions, as well as other canine sports and activities. I am looking forward to making connections with other pet parents here in the Fairbanks area, and hope that you will let me care for your pet! References can be made available upon request! I have experience caring for the following: Dogs (including several dog sled teams of 15+ dogs) Cats Horses Goats Chickens Ducks/geese Rabbits Guinea pigs/rats/mice/etc Fish Birds Chinchillas Reptiles/Amphibians August through April is my 'off season' from my remote fieldwork, meaning I have ample time to dedicate to house/pet sitting when back in town. I have many friends and coworkers that ask me to house/dog sit and my '22-'23 calendar is filling up fast. Reach out to me if you would like to get on my schedule! Whether in my cabin, or at your home, an animals safety is my #1 priority. I am very flexible with an individual pets needs/requirements and can adapt very easily to adjust to what is necessary - whether that's leashed walks, supervised playtime with other dogs, or kenneled naps.

Gabriela S.
“Gabriela took care of my dogs in Texas when I had to leave the country for an emergency, she would send me updates and pictures everyday, I would definitely ask for her help if I ever need it again. She wasn’t too engaged nor to distant with them which didn’t bother my dogs at all as she was a stranger to them. I think I’m safe to say that my dogs loved the hospitality 💯”
