4. Tiffany J.

“Tiffany was absolutely amazing!!!! This was our 1st time leaving our puppy for a few days and Tiffany sent updates and pictures everyday and was very patient with me texting her checking in the 1st day. I quickly felt very comfortable knowing our pup was in excellent hands and being very well taken care of!!! We will 100% be using her again and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a great dog sitter!!!”

5. Ashley B.

“Ashley is a dime a dozen! My pup loves visiting Ashley and her fur babies. She is so kind and understanding when unexpected things come up and will work with you however she can. If you need someone to watch your babies she is definitely the perfect person! If I could give more than a 5 star I would.”

6. Emily B.

“Emily was absolutely incredible! Fin is a high maintenance little guy with a lot of quirks and can be reactive. Emily took the time to ask and learn his triggers, what would help and not be helpful. She even let us meet up before the doggy day care to make sure her dog, Penny, and Fin were a good fit and that everyone was comfortable. In addition to how good she was with Fin, she was so kind and nice as a person. She was understanding with flexibility with me about picking up and dropping off due to my schedule. 15/10 If I ever need another Rover in Anchorage again, I would pick her every time.”

7. Jacqueline & Cody C.

“They were amazing with Emmy and so accommodating with an semi uncertain pick up time. I will be having Emmylou stay with them again. She was so happy when I picked her up and she went back to say goodbye to Jackie and Cody. I can't recommend them enough if you want to make sure your dog feels comfortable and like they are with family while you're gone!”

About: I have a wide understanding of care for pets! I have cared for pets through military deployments, vacations, emergencies… I’m experienced with different breeds and proper ways to approach a new animal that is nervous or anxious. I currently homeschool my kids and work from home running my own party rental business, I have plenty of flexibility and time to help even on short notice. I have reliable transportation with space to cater to your dog and their supplies. I have a little over an acre of open landscaped yard for a dog to run and play. Our backyard is not fenced in so I would keep them on a leash unless advised by the owner that it’s safe to do otherwise. We have a wonderful neighborhood to go for walks in if you would like them to. We have space to safely and warmly kennel dogs inside our home at night and let them run and play during the day! I only leave the house for brief periods, so they wouldn’t be left alone for long, if at all. We have one small dog (min pin) who would be kept separate unless we are given permission to let them play! Our min pin is a nervous breed, but she grew up with a Labrador and German Shepard happily. She just needs to warm up.

13. Skylar N.
“I can't say enough good things about Skylar's pet skills! Being his sister, I have known Skylar his whole life. He has always had a special connection with animals, especially dogs and horses. He has been volunteering at the local animal shelter for over 5 years now and the growth he's shown is impressive. Skylar truly loves the animals in his care, and he treats them with the kindness and patience they all deserve. He is great about following written directions to ensure your pet has all their special needs met. He is reliable, trustworthy, and courteous. Skylar and I work together when we have dogs boarding or visiting, so pets are rarely alone and have lots of support throughout the entire day. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets in the same loving way that you do, look no further!”

About: growing up i have owned many animals that i went into owning having done prior research on the animals behavior and needs. i have cared for many dogs, cats, some birds, rabbits, hamsters, and geckos! i love to play and cuddle with your pets, im here to be their friend! i’m currently between jobs, taking care of my house, and want something nice to fill my day. i have a very flexible schedule due to this, and would have enough time to give your fur baby the love and care they need. routines can be one of the most important things in making an animal feel safer when away from a familiar place, and i am able to keep those routines consistent. whether it’s feeding, baths, medicine, or even daily nap time, i am able to accommodate and give some snuggles. i live in a spacious duplex with a fairly large backyard for your pets to run around in.

About: I adopted an Alaskan Malamute when she was a year old. When I got her she had every issue a dog could have, including dog reactivity, resource guarding, gaps with housetraining, not crate trained, lack of manners, separation anxiety and leash pulling. I spent three years taking in-person group and individual dog training classes to address these issues. She was a hard dog to train but after a lot of work, I now have a well-mannered dog who is completely reliable off-leash. I can read her body language and understand when she is struggling with an interaction and needs a change. If your dog struggles with any of these issues, I understand and can advocate for him or her to keep your dog happy and safe. Is your dog shy? Great, I know how to make slow introductions and know the signs a dog isn't comfortable with a pet. Struggle with separation anxiety? I work from home and have crates if your dog feels comfortable in a confined area. Not like other dogs? I know how to get between dogs to prevent unwanted interactions. Afraid of strangers? I will gladly tell a person they can not pet a dog. I work full-time from home. I can do dog care in the late afternoon and some weekends depending on my schedule. I am often available during holidays. I like to go on longer dog walks and hikes if your dog likes that. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that can accommodate most dog sizes. I have a large Ruffland crates in my house and plenty of toys. I will only host one dog at a time.
