About: I have worked in Vet med for multiple years. I have worked emergency, surgery and general practice. I have worked with dogs, cats and exotics. I can medicate most animals without stress. I have also had animals for most of my life including dogs and cats. I currently own two cats. One of them I have had since four weeks old and the other since six months old. I currently work full time. I am available to work every Saturday and Sunday. I can also work Friday mornings or night. Monday-Thursday I work as a veterinary technicia. I make sure my pets are as comfortable as possible and they can interact with me if they like or leave me alone. Since my cats were feral when I first got them, it took months of gaining trust by sitting on the floor while they ate and providing them food under my bed. I allow pets to gain my trust.

About: As a dog owner myself, I’ve had the joy of a furry companion by my side for many years. Additionally, I was a dog bather throughout college and have experience with an assortment of breeds. I enjoy connecting with pets and giving them the chance to get adequate exercise and socialization, especially in Alaskas dark months. I hope that we can find a good fit! I am currently working full time, so most walks and visits will be in the afternoons and evenings! Most weekends are fairly flexible. I do have a young child, so there are some limitations with certain availability. Safety is key and all pets deserve to feel comfortable in their own home without feeling like a stranger is infringing on their space. I will help gauge the unique needs for your individual pet and take your instructions as the owner to make them as at ease as possible.
About: I’m Melissa! I run Valley Dog Treks and am a full time dog walker. My goldendoodle Cedar comes along on all of my walks. For hikes I have a car hammock and ruffland kennels depending on the pups needs. I’m a full time dog walker based out the Palmer area! My business is called Valley Dog Treks! My goldendoodle pup Cedar and I would love to meet up with you to see if we are a good fit!! I do leashed walks, drop ins + hikes. I carry pet protector spray with me on walks in case of offleash dogs charging us to protect your dogs, (it makes a loud noise, but is just air) For hikes I will leash your pup up before leaving your house, and then they will ride in either my Ruffland kennels or the car hammock in my backseat. I always have a pet first aid kit in my car, in case of any pet emergency you will be notified and I will be enroute to the nearest vet or your preferred vet depending on the needs of the pet.

Walks, parks if yours likes parks, cuddles, anything they need. I work from home so I have lots of flexibility to care for your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 2pm. I’m happy to accommodate early mornings or extended stays with advance notice, and I’m quick to respond to messages. Your dog’s safety is always my top priority. Dogs are always leashed outside and stay within my sight at all times. I closely follow your care instructions, keep a calm and attentive environment, and make sure pets get plenty of love, supervision, and safe play. I treat every dog like they’re my own.

About: Spent six years mushing with a recreational team, down to one dog now & just love dogs and skilled at caring for & managing many sorts of dogs. Very active lifestyle and love getting outside and exercising dogs. A tired dog is a good dog:) I work seasonally and have the winters off so I have lots of time for dog care and an open and flexible schedule.
