About: I’ve had pets my whole life, so becoming a dog and cat sitter 4 years ago was a given. From senior snoozers to zoomy puppies, from ‘don’t touch me’ cats to ‘please love me immediately’ cats—I’ve handled it all and loved every second. I’m currently part time so I would have plenty of time to check in with your pets. My job is very flexible with breaks so I would still be able to check in halfway through the day. If watching pets in your home, I will ask for a list of expectations (feed times, concerns) so I can do the best job. I will be diligent about updating you, sending photos, and asking questions if they arise.

I am around dogs and cats all my life, that’s my happy place and I love every aspect of it, even the not so glamorous parts like cleaning, listening to barking, or dealing with emergencies. I worked at a pet Resort for years here in Alaska working with all types of furry friends. I have a soft spot for seniors, I also have a lovely old lady in my home, a 12 year old German Shepherd, Molly. If I may suggest something to any pet owner in our valley: please don’t choose your sitter based on who’s the cheapest available option… taking care of your pets in your home is a big responsibility. Great joy as well of course but it must be done with 100% attention, care and love. I can promise that 100% because that’s the only setting in my book when it comes to animals. Safety is THE most important aspect of taking care of a pet, so before I start working with one I always have multiple questions to the owner. Knowing your doggie, knowing the routine, the environment etc is a crucial factor in providing a safe and quality service.

“Kaitlyn has been very good with our puppy, letting her outside to go to the bathroom and then play with her and reward for positive behavior (her experience as a dog trainer and vet tech is a bonus!) She updates us at each visit with pictures of our puppy and gives updates on how the drop in visits went. The only reason for 4/5 stars was because there was a scheduling issue where she forgot to cancel with us on a day she wasnt able to make it last minute and the puppy went longer than usual without a potty break (although ended being fine once we got home). However, she was very apologetic about her mistake, promised to not have it happen again, and offered a discount on some of the future visits to remedy her mistake. I appreciate that she took responsibility and sought to correct it the best she could. She has been faithful on all the other visits so far, responds quickly to messages, is polite and professional and I understand that mistakes can happen on occasion so I have continued to use her and would recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve had cats most of my life but have also had dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, mice, and guinea pigs! Spiders are the only pets I can’t handle. I’m currently unemployed and haven’t been able to find full time work due to the bus driver strike. So, Monday-Friday I take my high schooler to and from school and am free to take care of people’s fur babies all day and night! I love animals and treat them as my fur babies! I spoil them with attention and make sure they are well taken care of and happy!

About: ‼️I can only provide services in the Palmer/Wasilla area! My whole life my job at home was to care for the cats and dogs, and it was my favorite thing in the world. Now I have moved out, and I just want to continue caring for pets by providing services on Rover which is so perfect for me! I'm currently a cleaner for Janco Cleaning Company, 3-4 hours per night, and I provide services on Rover on the side with my whole day until dinner time reserved for pets! I live in an apartment with 2 adorable kitties, I am only able to house small dogs and cats in my apartment, as much as I love big dogs I have to control myself!

Walks, parks if yours likes parks, cuddles, anything they need. I work from home so I have lots of flexibility to care for your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 2pm. I’m happy to accommodate early mornings or extended stays with advance notice, and I’m quick to respond to messages. Your dog’s safety is always my top priority. Dogs are always leashed outside and stay within my sight at all times. I closely follow your care instructions, keep a calm and attentive environment, and make sure pets get plenty of love, supervision, and safe play. I treat every dog like they’re my own.

About: I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs and senior care for dogs. I am happiest when I am taking care of animals in whatever way they need love and care. I especially love helping out with farm animals whenever I have the chance! I currently work part time so have plenty of time Wednesday through Sunday to care for your pets. I prefer to check on them in their own homes frequently each day giving them plenty of time to run around and play or have some love and companionship. When I check on your pets in their homes I will be sure they have everything they need to be comfortable and safe while I’m away.
