About: As a dog owner myself, I’ve had the joy of a furry companion by my side for many years. Additionally, I was a dog bather throughout college and have experience with an assortment of breeds. I enjoy connecting with pets and giving them the chance to get adequate exercise and socialization, especially in Alaskas dark months. I hope that we can find a good fit! I am currently working full time, so most walks and visits will be in the afternoons and evenings! Most weekends are fairly flexible. I do have a young child, so there are some limitations with certain availability. Safety is key and all pets deserve to feel comfortable in their own home without feeling like a stranger is infringing on their space. (Pet Sitting/night rate covers me being with your pet 17hours/day, usually from 5 pm to 10 am) I am around dogs and cats all my life, that’s my happy place and I love every aspect of it, even the not so glamorous parts like cleaning, listening to barking, or dealing with emergencies. I used to pet sit all of the time when I was in high school and even helped train bird dogs. I currently have a dog of my own, her name is Aurora, she is 85 lbs of pure outgoing love. I have plenty of experience with cats as well, I used to cat sit and even foster. I have a pretty lenient schedule, I am flexible so as long as we are able to communicate pick up and drop off it should be fine. We live on acreage where I takes the dogs for a walk and we also have two big dog kennels. I have a dog and so does my mom so they will have friends to play with. We have one outdoor cat but no indoor cats. If you have cats we have a litter box and they will stay inside.
