About: I have lots of experience caring for animals, from household pets to barn animals. I have grown up pet sitting for friends and family members for some years before owning any pets of my own in my home town (2 dogs and 2 cats). As of now, I am attending university so I am fostering cats who are either kittens or who have medical problems so I can administer their medications. I have been certified in Animal care and cpr, this allows me to be prepared for any situation. As of now, I have an open schedule and am flexible with bookings. I care for all pets by adhering to feeding schedules, walking schedules and more. Right now, I have a foster cat who I feed and play with daily. When I take care of my clients pets in their personal home, I will tend to their food, walking schedules, and medication schedules if needed. If I'm taking care of my clients pets in my personal home, I will always make my house feel like a second home so the pet feels as comfortable as it can be. If I'm cat-sitting, I always make sure their litter boxes are clean. Safety is the most important factor to me, I will always check on any information my clients leave me and will constantly be checking in on the pets. Communication is also important, communication with my clients is important for maintaining safety and trust.

About: My parents bred Golden Retrievers when I was a young child, and I have loved and had dogs since I was born. Barb, a 120lb Rottweiler/Mastiff, is our current companion after losing Richard, our 165lb St. Bernard. Now that my husband and I are empty-nesters, and now that I am retired (for the time being) I'm excited to take care of other dogs. I'm skilled at dog training and love dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and demeanors. Walking/hiking is one of my favorite past times. I'm excited for the opportunity to take care of your pooch! I am currently “retired” and have an extremely flexible schedule when I am not traveling. When I am in the Fairbanks area I should be able to help care for your dog most days/times. I have two fully fenced back yards. Barb (my dog) loves all dogs, and it is just Barb, my husband, and myself living in our home right now. I'm happy to accommodate the needs of your dog by keeping them at our house, going to your home, and/or taking them for a walk/hike/potty break. I also enjoy training puppies.

About: Having worked at a pet resort, I have taken care of all sorts of pets! I am confident with all ages, sizes, and temperaments! If your fur baby needs exercise, extra playtime, naps, or medication, that is no problem for me! I have administered medication for both cats and dogs, including insulin. I also offer daily updates on your pet if that is something you’re interested in! I am a college student, but I am and will be available full time because my classes are online. I can do both check-ins and overnights! When I am there, I try to engage and play with your pets as much as they want. If they need to go potty often, or take medication, that is no problem for me. Your fur babies health and comfort is my top priority! And of course, I will send pictures and videos of them playing and cuddling. If you have multiple pets, my favorite pictures are of them all snuggled up together!

About: I have been working with dogs and cats in rescue and rehabilitation settings for over 16 years, across the gamut of shelter volunteering, high need fostering, and medical / rehabilitation support. I take caring for and walking dogs and cats extremely seriously, as all animals have different needs and boundaries that keeps everyone safe to be respected. 12 years ago I adopted one of my highest need medical foster dogs to help her thrive better outside the rescue system, I spent the last decade plus caring for her medically and giving her the happiest life she could have, but sadly brain cancer took her earlier this year. I am looking to get involved again with animals that may need help, from as big to in house support to as little as a walk so they can relieve themselves while their parents are at work. I currently work flexibly from home, so have the ability to help your pets during what are typical in-office hours for most! I also have some availability for in house overnight sitting I have over a decade of experience walking and caring for dogs and cats of all temperaments. I understand through my rescue work how to properly engage with anxious or high energy animals so as to ensure the best safety for all parties. I also listen and follow pet parent directions to the letter when provided detailed routines or steps. I have extensive experience with elderly and special needs dogs, and can administer oral and topical medications when instructed by the pet parent how the individual pet best receives them.

People have relied on me to board and/or walk their dogs of all ages and sizes since I was 7 years old. I will have plenty of time to love on, walk, and play with your pets! I am currently available most days. This includes most holidays too. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs of my own to keep your fur baby company and happy! The dogs have their own room in the house that also includes kennels if your dog is trained, if not, that is ok, we have dog beds too! I also have all sorts of toys to play with and lots of yard space for your dog to run and play! Dogs and cats are also allowed in the house and on the furniture/couches.
