I have worked both as a house/pet sitter and a dog walker. I used to own a malamute mutt and have dog sat sled dogs in the past -- I am good at exercising high energy animals! I do give discounts for longer sits (like over 2 weeks,) so if you have a long trip coming up, feel free to message me to discuss rates.

I will make sure your dog/s gets as much exercise as they need, every day. In addition to looking after the pets, I will also water your plants, check your mail, and do any other necessary house hold maintenance.

Having Sally housesit with our chocolate lab, River, makes leaving on a trip so much less stressful. We know Sally will take care of the house and keep River on the same routine he has when we are home - feeding, walks, hanging out on the couch together. River is happy and healthy when we get home!
This was our second time having Sally stay at the house with our dog, River. She did a great job keeping the house warm, the snow cleared and River walked and exercised. I highly recommend Sally for your house and dog sitting needs!
Sally did a great job house sitting and taking care of our 5-year old chocolate labs. She gave them plenty of exercise each day, let them follow her around the house and sleep on the bed, and she kept them entertained with toys and chew bones. She sent pictures and communicated with us regularly while we were away. Sally is familiar with Alaska houses. She made a fire each day in the wood stove and understood the need to be conservative with water due to our holding tank. She left the house clean and followed all of the instructions we left about the house and dogs. I will use Sally again in the future and highly recommend her to others for house and pet sitting!
Sally was very communicative when we needed someone last minute to take care of our large, energetic 1-year-old dog and our 2 cats over the weekend. She did a great job and we wouldn't hesitate to hire her again!
