I grew up with two dogs that I regularly helped take care of...I also have spent the last 5 years periodically dog, cat, and lizard sitting for coworkers, friends, and others. I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats and I have had a good thing going the last few years. I also have coworkers that bring their dogs to work and I often spend time with them, walk them around, and play with them.

Katie is fantastic! We booked her for an extended trip and it was the first time we’d left our pups since moving to Alaska. We were really nervous, especially since we’d very recently just lost one of our pups. Katie took excellent care of Mako and Mongo and our home. She gave them lots of love and cuddles and put us at ease with her good communication. Highly recommend.
Katie is the only dog sitter I’ve used so far that followed every instruction I left! She was excellent and left my house clean! She got my high energy dog lots of exercise and sent many updates. I’d recommend Katie to anyone and will definitely be going back to her again!

This was our first time booking with Katie and she watched our two chocolate labs on the 11/12th while we were away for Mother's Day. Upon our return the next afternoon, our pups seemed happy and properly stimulated. Katie did a good job with our dogs, feeding and medicating them as needed. She sent us a couple of pictures as well and took them on a walk. It was a relief to have someone watch them for a couple days so we head to Denali.
Katie was very communicative and did well with the dogs. I came home to the house in the same condition I left it in and two happy, healthy dogs. Katie sent me photos to let me know how the dogs were doing and even checked up on me to make sure my vacation was going well. I will definitely use her again in the future.

Schedule
My work schedule is from 7:30 AM -3 PM M-F so it is consistent. While I do have evening events, I often have a few hours between the end of work and my evening plans. This is an excellent time to walk a dog or stop by a house that I am dog or cat-sitting for to check in on the pets, play with them, and let them out for potty breaks.
