But everyone needs to start somewhere, and this time we decided to give someone a chance who hadn't received reviews yet; boy did we luck out. Jaina did a fantastic job looking after our 80 pound loverboy, Luca. She stayed in our home while we were away five days, and both he--and our home--were well taken care of. He even got a daily walk (in winter, no less!). Jaina is who you want in a sitter: responsive, reliable and kind. She provided daily updates and photos of our dog, too. We would hire her again, and suggest you do too before people catch on and her rates go up.”

About: I have cared for dogs since I was 8, and I have owned a dog since I was 5. I have successfully potty-trained a puppy. I enjoy being outside and walking, so I'd love to help out in any way, whether by helping them get their energy out or by hanging out with them. I work part-time and have free time between 10 am and 2 pm to take care of your fur babies. I usually use that time to hit the gym or study in the library, but I'm flexible. I can come to your fur baby and transport them to the park or wherever is needed. I can dog-sit for a few hours or a weekend and take them for walks.

About: I have been dog sitting for 10+ years, all shapes, ages & sizes. I helped train/walk my neighbors therapy dog while I was in high school and I was Involved in a club at The Ohio State University called Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I trained, walked and sat dogs of ages 2 months and up that then get assigned to someone in need of help. I have also worked at a vet hospital assisting/watching the doctor during procedures, check-ups and client visits. I love working with dogs/cats and always learning new training techniques. I love watching them grow and learn to become wonderful, well behaved dogs/cats. I love playing and being active with dogs and/or cats and giving them as much attention as they need/want. Your mind will be free of worry while you're away. Your cute furry family member will have the best care and the most attention you could possibly hope for. I have 2 cats and 3 dogs myself to approve of that! :) I work from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day to attend to your furry babies! Potty breaks, walks during lunch, etc! I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs to keep your pup company! I also have a crate if needed. Can accommodate to any normal routines at home.

“Lauren is fantastic. She stayed at our house for a week She took excellent care of our old and needy dog and our cat. She also maintained our home and took out the trash and recycling, even though we didn’t ask her to do this (she said she did not want us to miss our trash week). She sent us pictures every day and detailed messages about how the animals were doing. We were expecting medication, and she showed me a picture of a delivery and asked if I wanted her to open it to check. This and everything she did was far and above what I expected. You cannot go wrong with Lauren. She is a true animal lover and a smart and efficient sitter and caregiver. She is at the top of our list when we need someone for our pets.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was two years old. I subscribe wholly to the idea that they are mans best friend. I’ve been walking dogs for nearly 5 years, and I truly love it. Exercise and play time are important to a dog’s and cat’s mental and physical health, and I’m happy, ready, willing, and able to provide that for your furry family member. I’m happy to do walks early morning or late night, as well as general drop ins throughout the day to provide you with the peace of mind to know your furry friend is happy and getting exercise. I’m happy to follow any rules you have for your pet, dietary restrictions, etc. Of course, if there’s a favorite toy, or place to walk, please let me know, happy to oblige that as well. I'm currently not working full-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry family member. Caring for pets is my primary source of income currently. I rarely leave pets alone if they are in my home, and I make sure to understand someone else's home before allowing a pet out of my sight.

She was very dependable and was in constant communication with us about how they were doing. She stayed in our home and when we returned, Lee had taken the time to tidy up before we returned with some light cleaning. I would highly recommend Lee.”
