If you're like us, we look for care providers with multiple reviews so we have a better idea of who we're hiring. But everyone needs to start somewhere, and this time we decided to give someone a chance who hadn't received reviews yet; boy did we luck out. Jaina did a fantastic job looking after our 80 pound loverboy, Luca. She stayed in our home while we were away five days, and both he--and our home--were well taken care of. He even got a daily walk (in winter, no less!). Jaina is who you want in a sitter: responsive, reliable and kind. She provided daily updates and photos of our dog, too. We would hire her again, and suggest you do too before people catch on and her rates go up.

Brittney is truly amazing. From making sure the animals were comfortable with a meet-and-greet, to making sure that all dietary and special needs were considered. Even with the typical NEOH snowstorm, Brittney made sure my babies received the best care. I will be rebooking again!

Lee was a fantastic caretaker for our 2 Labradors. One of our dogs is very shy and Lee took the time to connect with her. She was very dependable and was in constant communication with us about how they were doing. She stayed in our home and when we returned, Lee had taken the time to tidy up before we returned with some light cleaning. I would highly recommend Lee.

Anthony was great. Allowing someone access to our home and our dogs was something we’ve never done before, Anthony made the entire process a breeze and settled our worries right away. We set up a meet and greet, he was punctual, outgoing, and friendly.. our 2 German shepherds are normally a little weary of strangers, but they welcomed him right away. Anthony and his wife were so thorough with updates, pictures, etc. We scheduled with him for in-home boarding at our home, he visited with them more times than I expected, he walked them both days too. He cared for our dogs as if they were his own. We will definitely be scheduling with Anthony again in the future.

About: I have been dog sitting for 10+ years, all shapes, ages & sizes. I helped train/walk my neighbors therapy dog while I was in high school and I was Involved in a club at The Ohio State University called Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I trained, walked and sat dogs of ages 2 months and up that then get assigned to someone in need of help. I have also worked at a vet hospital assisting/watching the doctor during procedures, check-ups and client visits. I love working with dogs/cats and always learning new training techniques. I love watching them grow and learn to become wonderful, well behaved dogs/cats. I love playing and being active with dogs and/or cats and giving them as much attention as they need/want. Your mind will be free of worry while you're away. Your cute furry family member will have the best care and the most attention you could possibly hope for. I have 2 cats and 3 dogs myself to approve of that! :) I work from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day to attend to your furry babies! Potty breaks, walks during lunch, etc! I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs to keep your pup company! I also have a crate if needed. Can accommodate to any normal routines at home.

I am so lucky to have met and worked with Juliana. She has treated my dog and cat like her own. My elder dog has special needs and he has never looked better on the many photos and videos she has sent. She is a great communicater; we ironed out details via Rover text that I hadn’t communicated because I left in a rush. She is also flexible, agreeing to stay an extra day when my flight got canceled. I had no worries while away and will absolutelty book with Juliana going forward. She has my highest recommendation!

We have an older dog with mobility issues, and she was so careful and caring with her. Also, she left our house in perfect condition. We are so happy we found Bailey and will definitely book her again!

It's nice to come home to a clean place after a long and grueling flight. Definitely would book her again!

We received tons of photos and updates on their adventures throughout the day. We will use Avery every time we can for future pet sitting needs!

About: I have over 25 years of experience raising and caring for dogs. I believe they are a part of my family and I would do the same for yours. Local lake county Ohio resident. I have previously raised two German Shepards and currently have a rescue lab named Kiki. Physically fit, enjoy the outdoors, and would love to exercise and socialize your fur babies while you work or vacation! I work full time remotely from home and am available days, evening, nights, and weekends to hang out with your fur babies! My schedule is flexible and I can work with you to accommodate your pets needs! My dog is my baby and that’s how I would treat yours. She is walked more than once daily, has a ridiculous amount of toys, and is the most spoiled person in the house. I believe all dogs deserve this level of devotion and I would love to bring your dog belly rubs, treats you approve of, and an opportunity to burn off energy when care for your loved one!

Even with the crazy storm, she still made it to our home and that was such a relief to know our kids were looked after. Chelsea goes above and beyond (she shoveled our driveway and helped a neighbor get unstuck). Would absolutely hire her again!

Bailey watched our dog over the weekend and did an excellent job. She was very communicative throughout the stay, keeping us updated and making us feel at ease while we were away. Most importantly, she took great care of our dog and treated him like her own. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and would absolutely book with Bailey again. Highly recommend!

Liz was the most wonderful person we could have chosen to put us at ease when we traveled and left our senior pittie, Rosie, in her care for the holidays. She sent updates, left the house in perfect condition, and kept our pup on schedule for a smooth transition when we came home. Rosie has a fair amount of meds and a healthy supply of old gal quirks, and Liz clearly made her comfortable and happy while we were overseas. There was a storm while we were away that caused a huge branch to fall and block our driveway, but because of her immediate and clear communication, we were able to get people out to clear it up quickly. We would not hesitate to have Liz watch Rosie again and enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking for a great person to keep your pet safe and happy.

FAQs for House Sitting - Noble

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Noble on Rover is $34.24 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,245 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Noble. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Noble walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Noble maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Noble choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Noble. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
