Because they can’t speak like we do, it is important to be attentive as well as respectful of their needs. I have 10+ years of experience from not only my own array of pets (dogs, geckos, horses, chickens, ratties, cats, etc), but also from my main line of work. I have been an in home nursing assistant for 5 years, beginning with taking care of my great grandmother and her dog in her home which blossomed into the career I know and love today. From walking dogs for neighbors and friends, grooming assistance, occasional medical assistance, Overnight sitting/boarding, and even small excursions for enrichment, all the way down to childcare in some cases. There is a park less than 5 minutes walking distance as well that I’d be happy to take your pet to visit for potty breaks and play, should that be okay with you. I don’t particularly like to crate dogs, however, if that is their safe space or they happen to be crate trained that’s no issue at all/is appreciated if they do not do well being left alone for an hour or so at a time. Communication is key and you will always be contacted should anything of concern arise.
