About: Growing up, I was surrounded by lots of dogs—big and small. I am comfortable assessing how a dog will react based on their personalities and temperaments. I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of availability during the work week! As an animal lover, this job feels like the perfect fit. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs (2 dashchunds and a golden retriever) at home to keep your puppy company. I also have crates if needed.
About: Currently, an employee of a 24hr animal hospital, as well as, worked as lead staff in a dog daycare for six years I'm certain your dog will have a very safe and fun time! I've had 2 dogs for 18 years and still have my one mini-Aussie and we frequently go on hikes and road trips. I'm also versed in a little grooming having done it my own Aussie. I currently work full-time on the weekends so weekdays are my main free schedule. I typically go on hikes (short or long), walks for photography, and sometimes go for a run. I believe in "leave no trace" and as an organized and neat person, I will tend to clean up for others ensuring that everything is well kept as my way of showing respect for other's homes. I will follow any routines and guidelines for your pet and also get frequent notifications on their status along with professional pictures (if requested). I can also offer to take your pet on hikes with me as I tend to go frequently. About: Growing up we always had 1 to 3 German Shepherds. Today I am privileged to work as a canine handler in a law enforcement role. I have extensive experience in detection, track and trail, and obedience work. At my home I have 3 large dogs. 1 retired Sable Shepherd, 1 working Shepherd, and an Agouti Husky. I currently work full time, 5 days a week. During my work days I'm away for approximately 9 hours, but this is subject to change at all times. I have installed gates to separate sections of my yard when necessary. This is great for those who may not play well with others and need their own space away from my, or other client's dogs. Additionally, I have a couple large outdoor kennels (approx 4'x8', shaded, with an enclosure attached). These areas provides an additional layer of separation if needed, or serves as an outdoor area for escape artists who will be outside during my absence... additionally, my set up allows for easy client access with codes. So if you are running late, plans change, or I'm not home you can let yourself into the yard to drop off or pick up your pup. No hassle for me or you, so no stress on either end. Im amenable to providing care, stimulation, obedience training, etc as directed by you the pet owner. My goal is to provide a low stress, safe, and friendly environment for your dog so you can try to worry just a little less while you are away. While I'm at work all dogs will be outside in the fenced yard with access to shade, water, toys, and other dogs if they get along well. When I am home dogs are able to do what they prefer. In or out, couch or bed. What makes them happy makes me happy.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
