“Jennifer was awesome for meeting up with us to introduce her to our Woodson. She was attentive and listened to our requests. She was very knowledgeable and and arrived on time. Because of the meet and greet the day before, our Woodson felt very comfortable with her the next evening. She sent us a few pictures of our girl and an update. We will definitely book Jennifer again.”

About: Hi there! I’m a pet parent with experience in walking and petsitting both dogs and cats. I also have limited experience working with other animals, such as birds, fish, and reptiles. I currently have 2 cats but have a long history of raising pets of different kinds. I love all animals and am pawsitively excited to meet yours! 🐾 I’m doing petsitting and dogwalking as a primary source of income right now so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m doing this on an almost daily basis! About: As a Navy veteran and former corpsman, my entire job was focused on taking care of people. I bring that same level of care, reliability, and attention to detail to looking after your pups. I’m also a proud dog dad to three rescues of my own—including one who needs special medical attention every single day. Because of that, I’m completely comfortable with unique routines, medications, and giving them extra tender loving care. I'm currently a student, my schedule is super flexible. Whether you need daily walks, quick drop-in visits, or overnight boarding, I’m here to help and can easily adjust to whatever routine works best for you and your dog. I always want to make your dog or cat feel safe and at home while you’re away. To accomplish this I make your dog part of my family for however long we are together. I allow the dogs space and time to get use to the environment which helps build trust. I’m with your pet the whole day if necessary.
About: I've owned and cared for dogs all my life. I took care of my senior dog who had diabetes and needed shots + full time care since his condition caused him to go blind. I fed and walked him along with my chihuahua that my family had since i was a baby. I am now currently a fur mom of my rescue pit! I love her and want to support our family of 4 by caring for your babies when needed! I am available anytime to tend to your babies. I have my own at home (human & fur) which i'm grateful to have an awesome support system so i'm able to work with and help others. I have a 4 year old pit who i rescued from the shelter and she is very scared of other people so we have specific training and care for her. We live in a happy environment and she is the most spoiled girl I know.
About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve owned cats and multiple dogs throughout my life and currently have two Boston Terriers of my own. I also help care for my sister’s senior dogs, who require specialized routines and ongoing medical attention, giving me hands-on experience with elderly pets and medication schedules. Whether it’s a leisurely walk for a senior dog or an energetic run, hike, or play session with a young pup, I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Caring for animals is my full-time focus, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, regular drop-in visits, overnight care in your home, or a last-minute check-in, I’m able to provide dependable care and plenty of attention. With help caring for my own pets at home, I can prioritize my clients and ensure your pets receive the love, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own. My cats are incredibly spoiled and are a huge priority in my life—they have plenty of toys, scratching posts, cozy places to sleep, fresh water at all times, high-quality food, regular veterinary care, and grooming tailored to their individual needs. I even brush their teeth and make sure they receive plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection every day. When caring for a client’s pet, I bring that same level of dedication and attention to detail. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs playtime, exercise, cuddles, medication, or simply a consistent routine, I strive to provide the same level of care and commitment that I give my own animals every day.

“She had amazing customer service! Unfortunately my pupper had burned his paws so I was very nervous with leaving him with a sitter but she took amazing care of him, kept me up to date about everything. Xander wasn’t really able to walk when she picked him up and by the time he came back he was running and playing. I really appreciated her. She is a true animal lover and I was very lucky to find her. I definitely will be using her again :)”

About: My name is Daisy I’m 28. I’ve been working with pets for 9 years as a dog groomer/dog walker/pet sitter so that means I deal with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and age. I can’t imagine doing anything else for work! I just get dogs and they get me. I have two big babies of my own. I am available for dog grooming needs upon request. I like to do meet and greets with dogs/cats before making set plans just in case but I understand sometimes reservations are last minute. As an animal lover I understand that sometimes dogs are picky about people and it could take awhile for a dog to get used to somebody new. I’m all about animals. They run my life. I like to make myself available for my clients and their pets as soon as they need me. Im pretty open to whatever the client needs both in my home and yours. I do require that your animals are friendly with cats/dogs as I have both if we’re doing over night stays.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Engineer Springs. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
