About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve also had my own cat for 12 years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re away. Over the years, I’ve also helped friends care for their dogs and puppies, including feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’m responsible, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I’ll treat them with the same patience, love, and care that I give my own. 🐾 I’m available for pet care in the evenings and on weekends. Weekday visits are best scheduled after 3 PM. I also have every other Friday off, which gives me additional availability for daytime visits on those Fridays. I’m happy to coordinate times that work best for you and your pet! I’ll always treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I carefully follow feeding, medication, litter, walking, and household instructions and make sure doors, gates, and entry points are secure. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are safe and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Being raised in the rural parts of El Cajon, with my mom being apart of the AKC- American Kennel Club, I spent a lot of time around animals. Learning at a young age how to properly interact with dogs. I have walked up to three small dogs at the same time that belonged to my land-lord of 5 years. Even though these three dogs were considered aggressive toward other people, they loved and trusted me and I loved them back. I enjoy being around small animals and spending quality time with them. I am retired from the County of San Diego where I worked for 16 years. I am very flexible, reliable and punctual. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies.

About: I have been in the dog daycare industry since 2008. I live and breathe for dogs. They make my life better. I managed a dog daycare facility for 15 years in Colorado. We had 150-200 dogs every day. Since moving to California in 2023 I am mostly a stay at home mom with a part time job at doggy daycare here in Kearny Mesa. To say that I “ love dogs” is an understatement. I am pet first aide certified and the years of experience with emergency situations have made so many dogs lives better. I can easily identify all the subtle ways dogs communicate with each and with us to create a safe space for them to just be dogs. About: Growing up we always had 1 to 3 German Shepherds. Today I am privileged to work as a canine handler in a law enforcement role. I have extensive experience in detection, track and trail, and obedience work. At my home I have 3 large dogs. 1 retired Sable Shepherd, 1 working Shepherd, and an Agouti Husky. I currently work full time, 5 days a week. During my work days I'm away for approximately 9 hours, but this is subject to change at all times. I have installed gates to separate sections of my yard when necessary. This is great for those who may not play well with others and need their own space away from my, or other client's dogs. Additionally, I have a couple large outdoor kennels (approx 4'x8', shaded, with an enclosure attached). These areas provides an additional layer of separation if needed, or serves as an outdoor area for escape artists who will be outside during my absence... additionally, my set up allows for easy client access with codes. So if you are running late, plans change, or I'm not home you can let yourself into the yard to drop off or pick up your pup. No hassle for me or you, so no stress on either end. Im amenable to providing care, stimulation, obedience training, etc as directed by you the pet owner. My goal is to provide a low stress, safe, and friendly environment for your dog so you can try to worry just a little less while you are away. While I'm at work all dogs will be outside in the fenced yard with access to shade, water, toys, and other dogs if they get along well. When I am home dogs are able to do what they prefer. In or out, couch or bed. What makes them happy makes me happy.

About: I’ve always had pets in my household and I’ve also worked at Petsmart with grooming for over 2 years. I currently have an amazing cat named halo that works well with both dogs and cats. I work from home so I have full availability when it comes to potty breaks and play time. I also have my own transportation and provide overnight and travel care. My household is a nonsmoking pet loving home. Our pets are allowed on the furniture with multiple dog parks withing walking and driving distance from my house.
About: I'm very accustomed to all kinds of dogs! From pups to elderly dogs, small to large I'm the right guy for the job. I've raised all 3 of my dogs from puppies along with helping friends with theirs. I have tons of experience in cleaning and keeping them busy so I am more then happy to help with watching pups! I also have experience with elderly dogs that require medical treatment, as long as I get a detailed explanation on the steps to help I'll be able to follow them perfectly. I also live with very large dogs so I have all the experience with how to handle them no problem. I'm currently in College studying Mathematics. While I am still in the area I am a lot more busy on weekdays so as long as you are ok with me leaving for a little bit for classes then I'm down to help out. I have 2 very friendly dogs while my third is pretty territorial so while I can make sure your dogs are safe and acclimate them to the others, I feel it would be best to stay at your house.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
