About: Hey there! I've been in raising and training dogs for a while and had a fun doing it. I’m originally from San Diego and am home for a few months after finishing my masters degree at Columbia University. While I don't have a pup of my own right now, I'm all about providing top-notch care. I absolutely love strolling around local parks, and exploring new places! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I've got some wiggle room to hang out with your furry pal throughout the week and over the weekends. Can’t wait to meet your fur-baby– they'll be in pawsitively great hands! RE: PRICES- I totally get times are tough, so I'm all ears for working out prices. Being in grad school, I’m available all evenings, free each weekend and have several gaps throughout the week! I take walks daily before/after work and on the weekends and would love to have a furry companion! I live near a few parks but there are many other parks walking distance from here. In my clients home, I will be sure to respect their belongings and be sure to keep any safety hazards away from their pets.

About: I grew up with many pets and learned how to care for them exceptionally well. I understand giving them boundaries and having fun playing with them are both keys to great care. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs as I am a very active person who loves exploring as much as your dog does! When I started pet sitting about 15 years ago I found I had a gift for helping dogs and cats who have a hard time adjusting when their owners are away. I also specialize in senior care as I’m willing to do anything needed to help your dog or cat be comfortable, eat well, and feel loved. I interact with each one as the unique individual they are. I’m currently in school a couple days a week and have flexible work which gives me plenty of time to play with your pups during the week and on weekends. I only care for pets at your home. About: I've had pets my whole life, and I've always been considered the animal whisperer of my family. I've owned and cared for cats, dogs, birds (parakeets + cockatiels), freshwater fish, toads, ferrets, and event rats! I'm very in tune and informed on common health issues or changes in behavior that may indicate health problems I just recently moved to the El Cajon area and would love to care for your pets :) My availability is currently fully open! About: I’ve had about 13 dogs of different breeds in my lifetime. Every dog that I’ve had in my life still carry on in my heart. I was responsible for all of my dogs and made sure to attend to their needs in a safe manner. I’m able to work any day of the week as long as it’s 8-3pm. I’m just not available around 4-6, but I am able to care for them in my home if necessary. We have a screen door and our parking lot is gated, so there is no way for them to get through. There is also a park nearby that is great for walking.

About: I have three cats of my own (all successfully introduced as adults), and have spent my whole life taking care of the cats in my family. Over the past few years, I have been regularly caring for my friends pets when they go out of town for extended periods of time. I have cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from kittens to seniors and from outgoing to shy. I am also an artist, and will happily draw a portrait of your cat as an added gift with my care! I work part time at my day job 2-3 days a week from 9-5. I have a very open schedule, able to care for your pet any day whether that be morning, evening, or night. I have reliable transportation and don’t mind traveling throughout the county. When first cats, I allow them to approach me on their own to get to know me on their own terms. If allowed, I will given them a treat to let them know I am a friend. I will start off my visit by checking their food, giving them fresh water, and cleaning their litter box. Once I have spent this time around them, I will see if they are in the mood to either play or be pet. I will pay attention to their body language before initiating physical affection. If they seem like they are just in the mood to spend time in the same space without much interaction, I will either read a book or draw in my sketchbook so I can keep them company.

About: When you want someone who does much more than the bare minimum, that’s where I come in. Pets can have a difficult time when you’re gone. They’re nervous about having someone else in the house and they miss you. Having someone there who truly cares about what your pets may need in order to have as much peace as possible until your home matters. Do they feel more comfortable with my hand coming from the side or the back when they’re pet? I’ll find out! Do they feel more comfortable with me in a certain line of site until they get to know me a bit? I’ll find out what that is! Their favorite toy? What makes them anxious? What makes them happy? I’ll find it! I bring a patient, calm and playful energy to bring as much comfort as I can. Pet care is my full time job right now! I have the availability I need so your pet isn’t lonely! It helps with bathroom needs and an overall homey environment. This is dependent on what each client and pets need. I’m versatile, and open to individual needs. I do more than take them to the bathroom and feed them. I like to make sure they feel loved and comforted and each pet has their own way that they experience that.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 5 years. Neighbors, friends, and family always call me first when they need a sitter. I also have experience training puppies. I’m currently working part-time while on my summer break from school, so I will have plenty of time to walk, look after, and care for you pups. About: I’m a 35 year old homeschooling mother of two (7&9). We would like to love on and take care of your furry friends while your away. I’ve taken care of animals of every kind. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to care for, feed, check on, bathe their cats, dogs, goats, horses and tortoise! We are punctual, kind, good at communicating and great with all animals! My availablity depends on if you mind my children come with me or not but I’m super flexible! I currently have one adult medium dog, 1 Large mixed breed (1year old) a horse and chickens. I have a large yard for plenty of play but it is NOT fenced so please no run a ways please :) I homeschool and work part time from home. The kids and I are home most days and only leave for a few hours at a time for activities like gymnastics or soccer. Both my dogs are friendly and not food aggressive at all. They free feed out of the same bowl. I have ways of separating or crating if need be. I’m very good with reading behavior and gaining trust.

About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.

About: I have worked with pets for over 10 years caring for and feeding, also medicating if needed. I have worked with and owned various animals such as reptiles, amphibians, spiders, dogs, cats, chinchillas, ferrets, birds and many more. I love working closely with animals and sharing connections with them. I was a dog trainer for Petco for 3 years, and plan to eventually open my own animal training center and sanctuary for large breed canines and felines. I have experience in bathing dogs and cats including nails, teeth, and trimming new growth hair around the face, feet, and sanitary areas.
