“Where do I begin? First, I am eternally grateful for Doug and Marisol’s attentiveness and love to our 4 Pack. Our little special needs dog, Starr, needed an emergency trip to the vet that required immediate treatment while we were in York, England. Marisol and Doug kept us informed via text, pictures and email about Starr’s progress. They truly saved her life. Starr was given the royal treatment during her recovery. Second, Marisol and Doug are observant and their care for the 4 Pack is amazing. They made sure the 4 Pack stayed healthy and hydrated during the recent heat wave. Even coordinating with us to buy special food for the 4 Pack. Third, I truly believe my little grumpy chihuahua, Daisy, loves Marisol and her daughter. All the pictures showed her happy and giving the “chihuahua smile.” Marisol and her daughter, with permission, took Rascal and Raleigh on trips with their dog to the park. The video showed Rascal happily bouncing in circles around Marisol. They watched our 4 Pack for the last 30 days of our trip to Europe and while we missed them terribly we knew they were safe, happy and loved.”

I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. About: Being raised in the rural parts of El Cajon, with my mom being apart of the AKC- American Kennel Club, I spent a lot of time around animals. Learning at a young age how to properly interact with dogs. I have walked up to three small dogs at the same time that belonged to my land-lord of 5 years. Even though these three dogs were considered aggressive toward other people, they loved and trusted me and I loved them back. I enjoy being around small animals and spending quality time with them. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I learned how to wash dishes! I’ve walked dogs and puppies from 10lbs to larger dogs of 120lbs + When I spend time with animals, even in short amounts of times, special bonds are formed. Both parties just have a blast to be honest. I’ve wanted to be a Veterinarian my whole life but as things have changed this is the closest thing to it. I hope you’ll choose me as your trusted sitter! I’m currently in the military Active Duty Shore. I do drop in visits around lunch time, and I’m up early in the morning for early morning walks and feedings before work starts on weekdays. After 4pm we play, go for walks, eat and play again. On weekends I’m available whenever. Sundays mornings are exceptions, being that I attend church. I only take care of crate trained animals in my home. Animals who are potty trained, and nothing bigger than 25lbs. I do live in a gated community with plenty of room to walk and run around outdoors. I also have a spacious living room and dining room area with no furniture. Spacious for small animals, their crates, and their zoomies! I do not have any pets or children. When it comes to clients homes, I clean when needed. And I stick to whatever schedule I’ve been given.
