About: I've been around cats and dogs my whole life, but started taking care of dogs around the time I was 12 and moreso with cats around 13. We adopted a dog when I was 12 and I fed her, walked her, bathed her, taught her tricks, played with her, we'd even cuddle! We fostered a dog from a hoarder and had another dog after the loss of the last one and I continued to repeat the cycle with this big crazy whippersnapper! Where I was working part-time just closed for the season, so I have plenty of free time for playing with your pups and kitties!!! When I'm not in school, I'll be taking care of my pets and helping my mom out with them around the house, she does Rover too and recommended I get on it. For drop ins, I like to meet the pet first and learn about their likes and dislikes and where to find all of their things. I like to ask questions on how to make sure they feel most comfortable with a new person and try to follow that advice to make sure they feel their best. For walks, I like to get an idea of where they like to walk and any behaviors I can expect while walking them before we head out on our adventure!
“I am so happy I reached out through Rover to Joshua. I have two large dogs and one of them has endless energy, two large cats, a leopard gecko and 10 chickens. Kind of last minute, I decided to take a quick weekend trip. My younger dog is a handful and I was worried that I would not find the person to understand and care for my puppy and all the others. Then I contacted Joshua. Punctual, polite, knowledgeable about breeds and specifics and best of all!?!? Finn likes him. I had a wonderful trip. He made ire to collect my mail and some medicine that was accidentally shipped and needed to be refrigerated. About: I have two dogs, Murphy who is 5, and Moose who is 3. I’ve had bunnies, plenty of cat experience, and even turtles! I feed, bathe, walk, and take care of family pets and friends pets when they are away. I’m currently about to start my first year of college! Pet care and sitting will be more suitable for me than most other jobs since I can work with hours that best suit me I have a yard and two small dogs, I do prefer to watch and care for animals in my clients home just due to Murphy being a tad skittish.
“Khalaya is a very sweet person and took excellent care of my two dogs and cat. This was the first time I've hired someone to come take care of my animals, but she put me at ease when I met her. My dogs were excited to meet her and I felt comfortable leaving them with her for the weekend. She sent me pictures and a video of them while we were gone and they looked relaxed. I'm surprised my cat came out to meet her, but there's photographic evidence that she did! When we returned, our animals were happy and well cared for.
