“Melissa was fabulous. In advance of our trip, Melissa came to meet Wally, Poppy and Rosie (our dog and cats). Melissa was very comfortable with all three of them. Rosie pretty immediately climbed in her lap. We knew we needed somebody special since Rosie, one of the cats, needs special care including oral and transdermal meds. Melissa was prepared to handle that. While we were gone Melissa sent daily updates and photos. Seeing the way all three of them around her, I knew they were in great hands. I really do think Melissa is the best.”

He is known to get into food left out and there were no issues with that while we were away. She swam in our pool with him like we requested for his hip dysplasia. We felt she took great care of our dog. We will definitely be using her again in the future. She left the house spotless and even cleaned the carpet when he pooped on it one time (no fault of her own). Highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve loved animals since I understood how much they bring to someone’s life. Friends, family, and neighbors have always asked me to watch them because of the connection I create with an animal right away. I think connecting with an animal is a one of a kind experience! I’m currently unemployed trying to find a career that fully encapsulates who I am. I have a degree in sports medicine and a large background in healthcare and finance. I love everything about helping people. Although im unable to take care of pets in my personal home due to landlord pet restrictions, I value any pet owner with proper safety for their animals and genuine care that I can help provide to their fur baby!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of them. That includes walking, feeding, playing with them, etc. I dog sat for a bunch of my babysitting families in the past over night I currently work full-time remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule. I love going on walks every day and would be happy to give your dog lots of exercise and attention I take dogs on walks and can also let them out in a fenced backyard. I’m happy to follow whatever routine or preferences the owner has

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and come from a family of rescue lovers. I currently care for my own rescue dog, who has severe anxiety, and caring for him has taught me a lot of patience and how to recognize each pet’s different personalities and needs. While I’m new to Rover, I’m excited to get started and build meaningful relationships with both pets and their owners. A little about me! I work as a therapist during the week. Outside of work, I love reading, staying active, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family. I truly enjoy caring for others—whether that’s people or pets! I take pride in making sure your pet feels loved and comfortable while you’re away, and I always try to leave your home just as I found it (or even a little tidier). I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll care for yours like they’re my own. I work during the week, primarily on Tuesday through Friday mornings and evenings. Since I work virtually some days, I have flexibility in my schedule as long as I have a quiet, confidential space for my clients. This allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the week when scheduling permits. I'm also fully available Saturday through Monday and enjoy spending my free time with animals. I'm happy to care for your pet in your home, take them on walks around the neighborhood, or visit local parks for exercise. I know that every pet has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, and I can adapt to their/your needs.
