“I am a first time Rover user. After my friend has to cancel sitting at the last minute, I decided to check out the site. Monica's profile was one of the first I saw, and I was immediately drawn to her to her profile. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and I understand why. Monica was incredibly caring, attentive, and reliable. She was communicative throughout my trip, and, when I came home, I could tell my three cats were very well looked after. She provided daily updates with photos and videos, brushed my cats, played with them, and ensured they were fed and their water stayed full. I have never hired a pet sitter before as I have always had friends stay at the house, but after our meet and greet, my anxieties about leaving them with a sitter were gone. I will absolutely be using Monica again in the future. Your pets are in great hands with her!”

“Brenda was a wonderful cat sitter for our beloved Kickstand! She was reliable and communicative, and sent plenty of pictures and updates on if she was eating, got sick, etc. We’d absolutely request Brenda’s services again!”

“Shannon was so lovely to work with and did an amazing job checking in on my cat, Waffles when I was out of town for several days. I would definitely ask her to drop by again in the future. It was so reassuring to know Shannon would be checking in on her daily, and Shannon provided great updates and was very communicative.”

“Tara did great caring for out sick cat. She listened and followed all our instructions perfectly and made sure our baby was well cared for while we were away. Would definitely book again.”

“April took fantastic care of our two young kitties. She was responsive and agreed to meet with us before we went out of town. Our cats took to her instantly and she sent plenty of pictures of playtime and feedings while we were away. We really appreciate the care that she provided.”

“Ivy was extremely communicative and caring when taking care of our two cats. She went above and beyond, taking time to figure out their favorite treat flavors, brushing them so well that their coats got way softer, and taking lots of cute pics and sending them our way while we were gone. We’ll definitely be working with her again!”

“Thank you, Dee! My vacation was pet stress free and I knew they were in excellent hands. Dee provided photo updates and let my cats get to know her on their own time. I’ll definitely have Dee house and pet sit again in the future!”

About: I have 13 years of experience raising my little Bella. I got her at 19 I’m 32 now and she’s has developed into a shy but feisty, playful , rambunctious and healthy baby. Through our development I’ve learned how to walk, feed, bath, and take care of over all health. I’ve also learned how to spot when she’s unwell, trying to communicate when she needs or want something, and when to give her space. I have no professional experience, but have grown to specialize in handling anxious / fearful dogs and the barkers of our society if and when they’re comfortable around me. I have a full time job Monday - Friday and am a part time student . My homework load is pretty light so I usually have weekends available and my dog likes to go with me places so if the client is comfortable with her around I’d love to bring her to work with me! I live in an apartment so hosting all types of dogs would be difficult. if I am at a clients home I will treat as if it my own by mankind sure the dog is comfortable, had water , fed at his/ hers regular time, play with them and make sure I’m making the most of our time together to bond so both the client and dog I can build that trust over time.
“Thank you Ana for taking care of my boys during the busy holiday weekend. I appreciate that you were able to step up and cover an extra day when my flight was canceled as part of the Southwest meltdown.”

About: With two years of experience caring for puppies and senior dogs, I understand the unique needs of dogs at every stage of life. I’ve regularly cared for litters of puppies, ensuring they are happy, safe, and well looked after. I’m attentive to dogs who prefer their own space, respecting their boundaries while providing the care they need. Having a senior dog of my own has deepened my understanding of patience and specialized care. I also regularly walk my own dog, who has gone through many different stages—from tugging and reactivity to calm, controlled walks. Because of this, I’ve learned to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs, handling different behaviors with patience and confidence. Additionally, I have experience caring for cats and understand their unique behaviors and body language. I’m familiar with signs of discomfort and know how to create a calm, respectful environment for them. Having watched and cared for multiple cats, I ensure they feel safe and cared for, whether they’re social or prefer their space. As current full-time student in college, I understand the importance of balancing responsibilities while providing attentive care to pets. During the school year, I’ve learned to manage my time efficiently, ensuring pets receive the attention and exercise they need. Now that it’s summer break, I have even more time to dedicate to caring for and playing with pets. Whether it’s engaging walks, interactive play sessions, or simply providing companionship, I’m available to meet their needs with patience and consistency. I provide personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs, making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their home environment. If any concerns arise, such as changes in behavior or health, I will communicate with the owner to ensure the best care for their pet.

About: I treat every pet like my own with patience, attention and care. I’m super active so I love getting outside and playing fetch or just going on long walks. I also understand that your piece of mind is just as important as your animals so I’m happy to cater to whatever you may need. My schedule works perfectly for pet care! I work mostly mornings which means I have afternoons and evenings open for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. Whether your pet needs midday playtime, dinner-time walks or even cuddles I can be there when they need me most. I make sure each pet gets the exercise, mental stimulation and affection they need to feel happy and relaxed. I know how important relationship building is with animals as well as their owners so I go above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and cared for.

About: My pet care goes back to when I was six years old. I got my first dog, a golden doodle, at six years old and my mother helped me train and raise her. When we got our second dog, I fully trained and raised her and it was such a great experience. That's my baby in my profile picture! I also used to work at a Doggy Day Care in the summer before I moved to D.C. for college. I would help assist with special needs dogs and dogs that required more one on one care. Animals are my favorite thing, especially dogs and I would be so happy to help you all out when you need it! I had a senior Shih Tzu during college years up until my last semester and that was such an amazing experience to have a fur friend during these years. I'm the friend that people come to when they need pet care. I am currently working part time and only have classes in the morning so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend. I have a great and productive routine, given the fact I had a furry baby up until this new year so I know how to properly fit your pet into my schedule. Walking is one of my favorite activities so I would gladly bring your pet along with me! I am currently in an apartment but there is a park right behind my complex and I am in a very walakble area of D.C. I have a dog safe balcony where your pet can hang out with me when we want some extra time outside as well. I can assure you, your pet is in safe hands and you can trust me with your fur friend!

About: I've grown up around animals of all kinds thanks to my Abuelo owning a farm. I'm also no stranger both puppies and kittens and have watched senior dogs for family and . I currently have plenty of time to take care of animals, as I am in between jobs and school at the moment. My current routine includes sleep and volunteering at my local dog rescue- The Animal Pad- which is super flexible with the volunteer hours I put in. While I am not currently offering in home service, I do have a fenced yard and plenty of room in the house for separation should I offer in the future.

Kassandra G.
“I had a mini schnauzer named Mickey that had a bit of an attitude problem in that he sounded off his distrust of people and other dogs any time someone he didn't recognize came around. This made finding a sitter tougher than usual and I was initially worried he might come off too unpredictable and make her nervous, but she understood his anxieties and allowed him time to ease into seeing a new person in his space and eventually warm up to her, which I appreciated very much. She made sure to send me photos throughout the day so I'd know how he was doing for my peace of mind and asked what type of play he was comfortable with so as not to accidentally agitate or scare him, which no one else had done prior. All in all, Kassandra was quite competent at caring for Mickey and if I ever need pet sitting services again, I know who to call”
