I was raised around dogs, cats, goats, horses, pigs, llamas, and chickens, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I always had a dog by my side, and being around animals has truly shaped who I am. When I moved away for college, I missed having a dog so much that I began pet sitting and dog walking to stay connected to them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities — from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters in my hometown before moving to San Diego, and I plan to continue volunteering here as well. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy building trust and bonds with them. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, cuddles, medication support, or simply a calm and reliable companion, I’d love the opportunity to care for them like they’re my own! I am very flexible! I don’t have a set schedule. So I’m always open! I am in the United States Coast Guard as a reservist! I absolutely love pets. I will make sure to give your fur baby plenty of attention, walks, playtime, food, water, and lots of love and affection.
About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 10 years old when I got my first dog. I now have two dogs and have cared for mine, as well as other peoples dogs :) I have two dogs to care for: a 2 year old chihuahua terrier and a 13 year old chihuahua/dotson mix! I take them on walks, make sure they're fed, bathe them and give them all the love they need :) I make sure they're not getting into anything they're not suppose to, make sure they get outside for walks and general outside time/car rides, snacks when they're being good!

“Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

“We are so happy and relieved that we found Todd and Bill to board our somewhat anxious rescue dog, who also has a medical condition. He received loving care while we were gone, reflected by daily pictures. Bill administered oral medication twice per day with no problems whatsoever. I love the idea of a home setting with canine companions where he wasn’t restricted to a kennel, but rather could roam around the house and yard. He ate well which is a sure sign he was happy and was exhausted when we got him home. Bill responds to messages within minutes and is extremely accommodating to special requests and needs. Bill and Todd have our highest recommendation.”

“We’ve never left our dog Chai with anyone other than family and we’re a bit hesitant about leaving her for a few days. When dropping Chai off, Brittany instantly made us feel so comfortable and reassured us that our dog would be just fine. Chai took a liking to Brittany very quickly. Brittany was so good at keeping us updated throughout the day with pictures and a quick update with how Chai was doing and what they had been up too. They went on walks at least twice a day and cuddled (Chai’s favorite). When it was time to pick Chai up we could tell Brittany and Chai had bonded. We are pleased to have met Brittany and highly recommend her to anyone who is in the San Diego area or coming from out of town like us and needing someone who is truly trusting and felt like we were leaving our Chai with family. We will most definitely be looking Brittany up if we are back in the San Diego area in the future.”
