About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, both my own and others’. I’m currently in a veterinary technician program, which gives me good perspective on the unique needs of your animals. I also have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments and life stages as well as cats and even rabbits. I can handle high energy dogs or puppies as well. I am in a veterinary technician program that I do remotely, which gives me the flexibility to care for your pets any day of the week! I live in a house with an unfenced yard, therefore because safety is my top priority I will always walk your dog on a leash for potty breaks and outdoor sniffing- they will never be left unattended. I have the capacity to take your dog out for activities like beach walks or hikes, as well as just chilling or snuggling. Because of my schedule I can also accommodate frequent bathroom breaks and specific feeding times. I have a very sweet, friendly resident cat who loves company. We love hosting dogs who are already socialized and comfortable around cats! My only other ask is that your pup be potty trained :)
About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. They are the best creatures in the world My schedule starts off with morning feeding routine and then a walk! Or whatever routine you would like me to do with your baby I will stick to the routine that has been provided I have a big back yard and front yard. Both fenced in I have trained dogs in the house that can be separated from the dogs I take in or they can mingle up to the pet parent! Dogs are allowed on beds and furniture and around the home !

We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.
