About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life from large to small. From the time I was born we have always had a dog. All three were raised from the puppy stage so I have experience with all age dogs. I also grew up with a rabbit when I was younger and have been around cats all my life also. My single-story home has a large, fenced yard where your dog can roam freely to play, take a sunbath, or chase butterflies. My 32 lb dog, Prema, will keep your dog company on daily walks and at home. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮

My partner Brian’s schedule has recently changed so we can only board weekends, or possibly over a long weekend: We can take a Friday evening drop off at 5pm earliest, and can schedule a Monday morning pickup until 10 am or so. We live in a quiet, low-traffic beach neighborhood of Aptos, with a front and back fenced in yard, a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, and 5 minute drive to a redwoods state park. The backyard is shared with my awesome neighbor who own a dog. The backyard has a fence that is split down the middle, and he is kept on his side of the fence. He is only let outside occasionally, under supervised conditions. We do not allow guests dogs into the backyard when he is present, until we have had time to properly introduce them. He is friendly, but we always take care to introduce dogs. Our front yard has a low fence so our guest dogs are only allowed in the front yard under supervision, the backyard has a much higher fence, and we have a sliding glass door so they can go outside easily. We can crate your dog if needed. Both yards have shade, flower gardens, and are wonderful places to take a nap in the sun.

My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

My cat passed away last year and I am not yet ready for a permanent addition to my home. I am working full-time, however I have hybrid schedule. I honestly do this for fun! I have years of expertise taking care of all sorts of animals. I am patient and a good listener with your fur babies. In addition, I am detailed when it comes to instructions from the owners on what the pet needs and their behaviors. No stone goes unturned. I make sure that when taking care of pets in a clients home that everything is left spick and span— I’ll sometimes do light cleaning so that owners come home from their long trip to a sparkling home that smells fresh and clean. About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. I'm free every day, but Thursday and I'm not free Saturday after 6pm I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. About: When I found this app I was beyond happy, I love being around animals and being able to provide them a comfort space away from home! An interesting fact/story is when I was a little girl about 7ish I used to try and save the baby birds that would fall from of the tree by my house. from there on I knew being able to help animals where I can was my calling . This is the best way to spend time in life; with a furry buddy and some nice walks, activities and chill time! I can’t wait to be able to meet your best friend! My dog Honey can’t wait to meet them either 🧡 I currently am a full time student so my schedule is open every day expect Monday and Wednesdays. I have a lab retriever so she loves making new friends:) The way I care for a pet is how the pets owner prefers ( me personally I always have a looong list of everything my puppy honey loves and dislikes and her daily/food schedule) I’m ready for as much detail you like for me to know about your best pal.
