I currently have a flexible job that enables me to also do petsitting on the side . Evenings are usually open for dog walks and play time! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and for the past 25 years I’ve especially enjoyed fostering and having a multi-dog household. I’m an RN, so I’m very comfortable providing whatever care or assistance your dog may need during their stay, including medications or other special care instructions. I currently have three dogs of my own, all spayed/neutered, and they genuinely enjoy having other dogs around. I have one male who is about 45 pounds and two females who are about 25 and 45 pounds. They are an important part of our family and are very accustomed to welcoming new dogs into the house. My home is set up with dogs in mind, with plenty of space and comfortable places for them to relax, play, and have their own quiet time. I’ve learned over the years that every dog is different, and my goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and peaceful environment where everyone can feel at home. I work 20–30 hours a week, primarily from mid-afternoon into the evening, so I have most of my mornings and early afternoons free to spend with the dogs in my care. I have three dogs of my own who play well together and with other dogs, but also enjoy being lounge potatoes. 🐾 When I’m at work, I leave the door to the backyard open so the dogs can go outside whenever they need to relieve themselves, get some sunshine, or simply enjoy being outdoors. Before I leave for work, we have plenty of time for exercise and fun. Depending on the weather, we might head to the beach, go for a hike, or visit the dog park. If it’s too hot or the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll take a quick neighborhood walk and then spend time playing inside or relaxing and cuddling on the couch. Over the years, besides always having a multi-dog household, I’ve fostered more than 65 dogs with all kinds of personalities, ages, backgrounds, and needs. That experience has taught me how different every dog can be and how important it is to let them settle in at their own pace. I’m very comfortable helping dogs through the initial awkwardness of being away from their people and home, and I’m happy to give them the patience, reassurance, attention, and affection they need to feel comfortable. I also keep a close eye on the dogs in my care and am very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that might indicate they aren’t feeling quite themselves. My goal is for every dog staying with me to feel safe, loved, included, and like they’re having their own little vacation while their family is away. My house is definitely a dog-friendly home! My dogs are welcome on the couches and beds, and I have plenty of cozy dog beds and pillows scattered throughout the house for everyone to find their favorite spot. If your dog enjoys being around other dogs and can be trusted to have some time alone in the house, they’ll fit right in and have a fantastic time here. When I’m not at work, I spend the majority of my time with my dogs and the dogs staying with me. They are welcome to hang out wherever we are, whether that means playing together, lounging in the backyard, or snuggling up on the couch. My backyard is fully fenced with a 6-foot picket fence, and both gates have deadbolts for extra security. I also have cameras around the house so I can check in on the dogs while I’m away. Honestly, that’s mostly how I catch them stretched out on the grass with their bellies in the sun, enjoying a good afternoon siesta! ☀️🐶 I’m also very comfortable caring for dogs with medical needs. I don’t mind giving medications, following special instructions, or providing extra attention and care when a dog needs it. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away.

About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. We enjoy the rhythm of our daily routines just as much as all of our animals. To keep it humming everyone works in concert sharing the load of responsibilities.

About: Hi am currently a local college student looking for some extra cash by doing what I love which is taking care of our amazing fur babies otherwise know as dogs. I have a beautiful border collie myself and I also have experience walking all types of small and large dogs for the Santa Cruz SPCA. I also have some experience taking care of bunnies if you have one. NOTE: my profile says that I have no pets only because I DO NOT do pet boarding in my own home. I only do day pet sitting and dog walking. I am currently available for dog walking/sitting Monday through Wednesday anytime and Thursdays and Fridays after 3 pm. I am also available Saturday after 5 pm and Sunday all day. If you are also looking for someone to help around the house along with taking care of your pet I currently work as a house keeper/ dog sitter outside of rover. If you have an untrained dog do not be embarrassed I am still more than happy to help, I have experience training my own dog through the Monterey Bay Training Club, so I am more than happy to teach your pooch a couple of tricks while we hang out.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life from large to small. From the time I was born we have always had a dog. All three were raised from the puppy stage so I have experience with all age dogs. I also grew up with a rabbit when I was younger and have been around cats all my life also. About: Hi! My name is Sinead. I’m a born animal lover and have been volunteering and fostering with shelters since I was 15. At the moment I have 2 dogs and two cats. I have owned, fostered and pet sat a large variety of dogs, cats, birds, rodents and reptiles. I have experience administering topical, oral, eye, ear and injectable medications to dogs, cats and birds. I also have experience with reactive dogs, spicy cats, elderly and chronically ill animals; including those with seizure disorders. I do work full time and will be unavailable 8am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. I do work full time so will not be available 8am-5:30pm weekdays. Outside of those hours I have a very flexible schedule and can cater to a variety of needs. I excel at reading body language and always want your pet to feel comfortable. I’d rather err on the side of caution so do not allow dogs to approach strangers dogs when out and about. I always keep dogs on leash when outside of fenced areas. I also have multiple seatbelt for dogs when traveling by car.
