Our dog had a wonderful time walking with Shirley. She was right on time, and our Pancakes just loved her! She took pictures on their walk and gave a written rundown of her visit. Will most definitely be booking her again!

About: I’m currently a volunteer dog walker with Burlington county animal shelter since 2023! I walk all dogs from small to large. I have experience with dogs that are reactive, scared and social butterflies ranging from 1 years old to seniors 10+. I currently work full time Monday-Friday in healthcare( until 4pm), so evenings or any time on the weekends I am usually free! I walk dogs at my local animal shelter on the weekends, but my schedule is very flexible. I believe that every dog I encounter they must be treated like royalty! A pet is your family and I want them to receive the same love and care as I provide for my dog and shelter pups.

Josh has been walking my Pitbull for about a month now and has been reliable and communicative and my dog loves him! She can be tough to walk since she’s reactive but Josh does a great job with her and is patient and sweet with her. I would highly recommend Josh.

Trying to find something. Our house is quiet & laid back. I'm available during the day. Both my dogs are friendly & like to play. I have a 6ft privacy fence in yard. 2 spayed female dogs & 1 cat. They usually just hang out around the house. I let them out when needed & wander the yard.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have a lot of experience helping take care of them for close friends when they’re away. I’ve watched several friends’ dogs/cats for weekends and longer trips, making sure they stay on their usual routine with walks, playtime, meals, and lots of attention. What sets me apart is that I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet, so I focus on making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know your fur baby is doing great! I work full time during the day, but I dedicate my evenings and days off to pet care. This gives me plenty of time to focus on walks, drop-ins, feedings, and making sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. I’m consistent, reliable, and happy to work with your pet’s normal routine so things stay as stress-free as possible while you’re away. I also make sure to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is in great hands. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and playtime so your pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment. I always make sure pets are safe, secure, and well supervised during visits. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, whether that means giving them lots of playtime and exercise or a calm environment and extra cuddles. I also respect your home and treat it with the same care I would my own. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: My parents never owned a dog, but I have always dreamed of owning one myself. Until that day comes, I love to help take care of others. I have taken care of dogs of all ages from a senior dog to a young puppy. Now that I’ve graduated and started my full-time career, I bring a high level of professional responsibility and structure to my pet care. Starting August 1st, my routine is built around my 9-hour workday, which makes me an ideal match for independent dogs or cats who are well-adjusted to a standard work-week schedule and comfortable napping while their humans are away. During the week, pet care fits into my day as a 'bookend' routine: I provide plenty of exercise, feeding, and mental stimulation before I head to the office, and I dedicate my entire evening to quality time, play, and companionship as soon as I return. This structure works perfectly for house sitting, as I can provide a consistent and reliable presence in your home. On the weekends, my schedule is completely open, which is when I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for those needing extra adventures or check-ins. Whether I am staying overnight during the week or visiting for a weekend walk, you can count on me for a calm, dependable routine and frequent photo updates! I have grown up in a household with 3+ cats. I am a quiet person who has a knack for making animals feel comfortable in my presence. I love when they keep me company as I work. I dabble in pet photography and would love to expand my portfolio!

About: I have had a great love for animals all of my life. I have sat for several fur families in the past with many of them being regular clients. I have two female labradoodles who love meeting new friends as they get along with new dogs. My whole family takes part in caring for our fur guests. I also have experience in whelping and caring for newborn pups. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies. We will have daily walks and lots of outside play time, playing fetch and other games. They will be loved like one of our own. I am currently working from home so I am available to actively take care of your fur baby through out the day, from playing in the yard to going for a walk. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs who enjoy meeting new friends. I can accommodate crating if that is how your pup feels more comfortable or they can roam free. We use the bell system for potty breaks if needed as well.

About: Hi, I'm Veronica, and I've been in love with dogs all my life! I confess I wasn't a great Foster Mom because I kept adopting the dogs I was taking care of! I love my job with Rover because it gives me the chance to take care of lots of dogs and love them as my own (I promise I always give them back lol! I have experience with dogs of every size, from small to big dogs, and everything in between, and with all types of breeds. During their stay with me, they'll follow their normal eating schedule. I'll play with them and take them on walks throughout the day. I have a fenced yard, so they can run around as much as they want to. I also have experience in administering medication with insulin shots if needed. I used to have 3 dogs that I rescued many years ago. Unfortunately, they all went over the rainbow 🌈 bridge. My last one left us one year ago. So, if you're looking for a responsible dog lover to take care of your furry loved ones, I hope you'll give me a try. They (and you) will be very happy with me. I'm only available to do boarding or dog sitting weekends unless we make other arrangements that work for both parties. I require all dogs who are going to be in care to do a greet & meet at either your home or mine. I have a safe home, and fenced-in yard, and a very friendly dog. I always monitor all dogs at all times when they are at my home.

I usually am busy between the times of 10-4 however I can always run over for your animals on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11-1. I have a break between classes. I am going to school at bucks county community college in newtown and bristol so if your close to those areas thats even better! My whole life my animals have been my best friends, when I get home they are the first to be greeted before anyone else. About: Hello! My name is Gaby and I have been taking care of animals pretty much my whole life. I always had a house full of animals while growing up, so I know a lot about them and how to care for them. Since I was young, my family, neighbors, and friends have relied on me to watch their pets. They required me to walk pets, feed them, bathe them, and stay with them overnight. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, parrots, and farm animals. Currently, I have a small farm behind my house(2 horses, 2 pigs, chickens), 4 cats, and a dog! Animals are a passion of mine and I’m always happy to be a reliable caregiver for them. I am currently working part time and have more than enough time to care for pets! I am available Mondays-Fridays and some weekend days as well! I can comfortably walk any size dog on a leash and will clean up any messes that they may make. They will always have all my attention! I will always follow your directions and will also help with any type of training you are trying to teach your pet. If you have a petcam in your household that is perfectly fine as I have one too for my pets and pet sitters.

About: Devoted Dog Lover with a Lifetime of Experience About Me: Hello! I’m a lifelong dog enthusiast who’s had the joy of sharing my life with furry friends for as long as I can remember. Recently, I said a heartfelt goodbye to my beloved companion of 18 years, with whom I shared countless adventures and daily walks. This experience has deepened my understanding and compassion for dogs of all ages and needs. My Approach: I believe in treating every dog as if they were my own, offering them the same love, care, and attention that I provided to my own pet. My approach is grounded in patience, understanding, and a keen awareness of each dog’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s energetic playtime, leisurely strolls, or just some cozy cuddle time, I’m here to make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved. Experience: Throughout my life, I’ve nurtured and cared for several dogs, each with their own special quirks and requirements. I’m experienced in handling a range of breeds, temperaments, and age groups. My recent 18-year journey with my senior dog has especially equipped me to understand the gentle care and patience needed for older pets. Services Offered: • Daily walks (with a keen sense for your dog’s preferred pace and distance) • Feeding and medication administration, if required • Regular updates and photos to assure you of your pet’s well-being • Lots of love, play, and attention • Experience in caring for senior dogs Closing Note: I’m excited to meet your furry family member and provide them with the same warmth and affection that’s been a cornerstone of my life. Your dog’s happiness and safety will always be my top priority! Pet care is an integral and cherished part of my daily routine. Since I’m retired, I have the flexibility and time to dedicate to the pets I care for. My days are structured around ensuring that the dogs in my care receive all the attention and activity they need. Morning: My day typically starts with a morning walk, which I find is a great way to help the dogs get some fresh air and exercise first thing in the day. It’s also a peaceful time for them to explore and enjoy the quieter hours. Midday: Throughout the day, I ensure they have plenty of playtime, whether it’s in the backyard or inside with toys. I’m always attentive to their need for interaction and mental stimulation. Afternoon: In the afternoon, we usually go for another walk. This is a longer one, where we can explore local parks or walking trails, allowing the dogs to experience new sights and smells. Evening: As the day winds down, I focus on quieter activities like cuddling or gentle play, ensuring the dogs are calm and relaxed. Evening is also the time for dinner and any needed medications. Night: Before bedtime, there’s a short walk or a quick backyard visit, so the dogs are comfortable through the night. Throughout the day, I’m attentive to the dogs’ needs for food, water, and bathroom breaks. I also ensure they have a comfortable and safe space to rest. Being home most of the day allows me to provide constant companionship and supervision, ensuring that the dogs in my care are not just looked after, but also loved and cherished. Caring for pets, whether in my home or in a client’s home, is done with utmost attention to their comfort, safety, and happiness. My approach is tailored to each pet’s individual needs and preferences, ensuring they feel loved and secure in their environment. In My Home: • Safe Environment: I ensure my home is pet-proofed, with no hazards and plenty of cozy, comfortable spots for them to rest. • Routine: I maintain a consistent routine for meals, walks, and playtime, which helps pets feel secure and settled. • Play and Exercise: I provide plenty of playtime and exercise, tailored to the pet’s energy level and health. • Affection: I believe in plenty of cuddles and affection to make them feel at home. • Supervision: Continuous supervision is provided, ensuring their safety at all times. In Clients’ Homes: • Respect for the Home: I am meticulous about respecting the client’s space, ensuring it’s kept clean and secure. • Following Instructions: I strictly adhere to the pet care instructions provided by the client, respecting their routines and rules. • Updates: Regular updates with photos are sent to the client, keeping them connected with their pet’s activities and well-being. • Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared and informed about the pet’s needs and local veterinary services in case of an emergency. Common to Both: • Health Monitoring: I keep a close eye on the pet’s health and behavior, promptly addressing any concerns. • Hydration and Nutrition: Ensuring regular access to fresh water and feeding them as per their dietary requirements. • Medication Administration: If needed, I am experienced in administering medications. My goal is to provide a loving, fun, and safe experience for pets, giving them the care and attention they would receive from their own families.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
