About: I have always grown up with dogs in my household since I was born and me and my mom have trained our dogs that we have now together. We also used to foster dogs and take care of them until they found their forever home! It is always important to me that dogs never feel alone or forgotten during the day so I would love to also take care of other dogs! Currently I am off for the summer and I am a student in my Masters program with flexibility so I can mostly take care of your fur babies whenever! In my home I currently have two dogs, the have a huge fenced in backyard that they can run around in and we have huge baskets of toys that they can play with as well! If you need anything specific that you need me to do with your pets in your home I can do that as well!
“Jen takes very good care of my doggy Charlotte and I appreciate her so very much, she always keeps me in the loop and respond to my text messages daily, she’s also very kind and thoughtful bringing in any packages that are on my front porch. Charlotte and I have come to rely on her a great deal. Thank you so much Jen for being there for us.”

“Carly was an absolute delight to have as a dog walker. Our dog Daisy adored her. Carly was communicative, reliable, kind and met all of our needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog walker. We will most definitely be rebooking her in the future when we need it. Thank you so much Carly!”

About: Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a lifelong animal lover with two dogs, two cats, and a whole lot of heart for all furry (or feathered!) friends. I’ve worked with trap-neuter-release programs for stray cat colonies, have a bit of puppy training know-how, and I’m known for keeping pets happy, calm, and well-loved. One thing that sets me apart is that people have told me they really trust my judgment. I make sure to keep pet parents informed about how their furry family members are doing, so no one ever feels left in the dark. Whether it’s a new training triumph or just a little update on a cat’s favorite sunny nap spot, I’ve got you covered. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe and loved, and I’m here to be that calm and caring presence they need. I’d love to meet your pets and be their new best friend while you’re away! When it comes to scheduling, I’m as flexible as a cat stretching in a sunbeam. Right now, I’m in between full-time roles, which means I can be available pretty much any time you need—whether it’s weekdays, weekends, or those in-between moments. Just let me know what works for you, and I’ll do my best to be there for you and your furry crew! In my home, every pet is treated like part of the family. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
