Walks are always on-leash, and I pay close attention to surroundings to keep your dog safe. I’m comfortable with crates if needed, and I make sure food, water, and medication instructions are followed carefully. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is cared for like family.

Please let me know how your dog would behave in a dog park / social setting, or if that type of thing interests you in the first place. Happy to stick to the neighborhood or a more rigid path. Knowing whether they pull or are prone to try and chase small animals would be good too.
A typical day
I am partial to longer walks with the possibility of stopping at a park to throw their favorite ball. Take (almost) all the sniffing time you want! My personal favorite walks are along the river & canal. But we're getting our steps in for sure.

Life long dog owner here! Whether your dog is small or often gets mistaken for a horse, I'd be happy to take them for their daily walks. I've formed strong connections with my household animals since I was a kid and would love to get to know you and yours. I currently have a flexible schedule and am open to accommodate your needs as a pet owner. Just give me a heads up and we can work it out. Open to different training styles and will be sure to follow any instructions you've given for your dog's care.

Pat has developed a great relationship with Henry and took him on a very lengthy walk. It’s great knowing that Henry is getting attention and exercise while I’m gone.
Pat took great care of Henry. Henry warmed up to him quickly, even sleeping in bed with him and getting excited he returned to the house. Pat also had to deal with the February blizzard while I was away; he cleared a path out back in the snow for Henry to use and kept up with walks despite the snow, and coordinated with the snow removal service I hired. He sent frequent photos and updates.
