“Emma is the best! I have such peace of mind when she’s taking care of my boys while I’m away. She follows all of their care instructions carefully, and gives them lots of love. Thank you so much, Emma!”

“Michael was great! He was reliable and courteous. He took very good care of our dog and our house. He sent pictures and video clips every day. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in Michael’s care and I would hire him again in a heartbeat!”

“Pat has developed a great relationship with Henry and took him on a very lengthy walk. It’s great knowing that Henry is getting attention and exercise while I’m gone.”

“We were so happy with all the help and care Gianna provided to our pets while we were out of town. We will absolutely request Gianna in the future and would recommend her services to all our pets while parents. Thank you Gianna!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, including Huskies, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and other large breeds, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. My love for animals only grew from there, and I now share my home with 3 lizards and a cat, so I have experience with reptiles and cats! I also spent a year working at a dog grooming salon, where I gained hands-on experience handling a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, anywhere from very energetic, to reactive, to shy and anxious pups. That experience gave me a deep understanding of dog behavior and how to keep every dog feeling safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether your pet is laid-back or full of energy, big or small, I’m confident in my ability to give them the attentive, loving care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or scaly) family member! I currently work part-time with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to easily accommodate you, and your pets needs. Whether you need, mid-day walks, or someone to keep your pup company for most of the day, I can easily accommodate to your schedule. I treat every animal as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their unique personality, routine, and needs before anything else. I’ll do a meet and greet before you book so I can get to know your dog and their routine ahead of time. You’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing since I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Ruth did such a great job with my dog! I’ve never left her with a sitter before so I was very nervous, but Ruth is so friendly and kept me updated on how my dog was doing and sent tons of pictures. I hope to use her again in the future. Thank you so much Ruth!”

“Fantastic house/dog sitter! She did an AMAZING job taking care of my two dogs and keeping us in the loop with daily photos and reports. If you get the opportunity to book with Alexa do it!!”

“Excellent expirience all around. This was our first time using Rover after our original sitter fell through. Chris was fantastic at communicating and sent so many updates and photos we felt like our dogs were with us on our trip. Chris not only let our dogs out and fed them but really cared for them and made sure they were happy and comfortable while we were gone. We will absolutely use Chris again!”

“This was our third time using Josh for overnight stays, and he continues to be a really great sitter. His communication is excellent. He provides regular updates and is always very responsive. It's stressful to have your pets care (and your home) in someone else's hands. Josh's communication definitely helps us feel more at ease. We have a fenced yard, but Josh always takes Rider on walks which I really appreciate (as does Rider). Every time we've come home you'd never know he was there. He brings in packages, etc. which again, I really appreciate. We will continue to book Josh without question!”

About: Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a lifelong animal lover with two dogs, two cats, and a whole lot of heart for all furry (or feathered!) friends. I’ve worked with trap-neuter-release programs for stray cat colonies, have a bit of puppy training know-how, and I’m known for keeping pets happy, calm, and well-loved. One thing that sets me apart is that people have told me they really trust my judgment. I make sure to keep pet parents informed about how their furry family members are doing, so no one ever feels left in the dark. Whether it’s a new training triumph or just a little update on a cat’s favorite sunny nap spot, I’ve got you covered. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe and loved, and I’m here to be that calm and caring presence they need. I’d love to meet your pets and be their new best friend while you’re away! When it comes to scheduling, I’m as flexible as a cat stretching in a sunbeam. Right now, I’m in between full-time roles, which means I can be available pretty much any time you need—whether it’s weekdays, weekends, or those in-between moments. Just let me know what works for you, and I’ll do my best to be there for you and your furry crew! In my home, every pet is treated like part of the family. I focus on creating a safe, calm environment where your furry friend can feel at ease. I pay attention to each pet’s unique needs and personality, making sure they have their favorite cozy spots, plenty of playtime, and a watchful eye to keep them safe. Building trust is all about open communication. I’ll keep you in the loop with updates and make sure you know your pet is thriving. It’s all about creating a home-away-from-home feeling, where you can trust that your beloved companion is in good hands.
“Highly recommend Jimi for all your pups needs. We hired Jimi to house sit and watch our Oliver for a long weekend. We couldn’t be happier, he was extremely communicative and gave great updates on our pup and was extremely respectful of the house. We came home to a happy pup and a clean house. We are really grateful!!”

“Helen was GREAT! She communicated from the very beginning. The pups were very happy to be around her and gave us ease of mind while we were away with cute pictures. I would recommend Helen for all your future puppy sitting needs”

“Emily was fantastic! She took care of our Pebbles and we can tell Pebbles had a great time! We received pictures of our girl and those were great. For our next getaway, we will be contacting Emily again.”

“Kelsey was amazing! She stayed at my place for 5 days with my dog and he loved her. She sent photos all weekend of how he was doing and kept me updated so I was at peace. I highly recommend her.”
“Abigail sat for us while we were away briefly. Really good experience. She's very nice, was on time, kept us informed and sent pictures. Our dogs seemed very happy and were able to keep to their routine, and importantly, they like her very much. Highly likely to have her sit or pop in again soon.”

“Rosie had a great time with Danielle and was very well cared for :) Danielle kept us updated with frequent messages and photos. Thank you for taking care of our fur baby!”
“Gregory is absolutely great with my pup. Spent lots of time to give my boy cuddles, took him to his play group and reliable. I have rebooked him a couple times since he's been great.”

“Kelly is simply amazing! Both pets took to her right away and I honestly think they were sad to see her go! Kelly kept us updated with pictures and messages, which we really appreciated. We returned home from our four night trip to happy, healthy animals and a spotless house! We highly recommend Kelly and will certainly seek her out in the future!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fallsington
Courtney took wonderful care of our dog while we were away for a week. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in such caring and dependable hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog! We highly recommend Courtney and would gladly hire her again.

We had a wonderful experience with Kelsey! She took excellent care of our dog, Lucy, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our flights were unexpectedly canceled, and we ended up needing an extra day of care. She was incredibly flexible, accommodating, and worked around the last-minute change without any issues. It meant so much to us during a stressful travel situation. Lucy was happy, well cared for, and clearly received lots of attention. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

Jenna was sweet and updated us every day about how our furry crew was doing. The house was tidy, and she even took out the trash before we came home (we were only gone 3 full days!). The food bowls were also all washed and waiting for us. Our dog and 3 cats all seemed happy and undisturbed by our absence when we got home. Jenna did a lovely job, and I think our animals really liked her!

Gabi was amazing with my puppy! It was his first time with a sitter (and overnight too), so I was a little nervous, but she kept me updated the whole time with plenty of messages and pictures. I came home to a clean apartment and a happy puppy. Thank you, Gabi!!!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Caitlyn! From the very first interaction, it was clear how much she genuinely loves and understands animals. Leaving your dogs behind is never easy, but she gave us complete peace of mind from start to finish. She was incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful. We received regular updates, photos, and little notes about how our dogs were doing, which meant the world to us. It was obvious they were in the best care while we were away. Our dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we returned home. She went above and beyond, keeping everything clean and organized and even handling the house during an unexpected blizzard. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and truly compassionate to care for your pets, look no further. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Nora took such wonderful care of our 9-year-old pup while staying at our home during extremely cold and snowy days as our dog recovered from surgery. She made sure our pup was cozy, happy, and safe, and kept our home tidy too! We loved getting regular updates and cute photos from her the whole time. Even with the rough weather, Nora was always caring, dependable, and just great to work with!
Rita was so friendly and welcoming to my dog, Lexi and my daughter’s dog Charlie! She came ready to play with them and give them love. My puppy is a bit anxious and Rita was able to help her calm down. Also, Rita sent us several photos which was very reassuring. I would definitely have Rita puppy-sit again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Fallsington walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Fallsington maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Fallsington choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fallsington. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
