It’s also very important that I’m aware of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, past injuries, or behavioral concerns (like anxiety, reactivity, or escape tendencies). A typical day with the pets I care for is all about keeping their routine consistent, fun, and stress-free. I start by making sure they’re happy and comfortable — refreshing food and water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, and a quick wellness check to ensure everything looks normal. From there, we focus on fun and enrichment! For dogs, that might mean walks, playtime in the yard, tug-of-war, fetch, or practicing basic commands with positive reinforcement. For cats, I love interactive wand toys, laser play, puzzle feeders, brushing sessions, or simply relaxing together if they prefer a calm companion. Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their age, energy level, and personality — whether they’re high-energy and playful or more laid-back and cuddly. My goal is always to make them feel safe, loved, and excited for our time together while you’re away. 🐾💛

Hi! I’m a veterinary technician with 15 years experience working in Animal hospitals. I have a big heart for animals and I've been pet sitting for a few regulars for over 20 years. I’m so excited to start pet sitting on Rover. I've also fostered dogs for a rescue and currently work part-time as a vet tech for a rescue. Caring for pets isn’t just my job — it’s truly what I love to do every day. Working in veterinary medicine has given me experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. Whether your furry family member needs medications, extra patience, or just lots of cuddles and playtime, I’m comfortable and confident providing safe, attentive care.
