Hi! I’m a veterinary technician with 15 years experience working in Animal hospitals. I have a big heart for animals and I've been pet sitting for a few regulars for over 20 years. I’m so excited to start pet sitting on Rover. I've also fostered dogs for a rescue and currently work part-time as a vet tech for a rescue. Caring for pets isn’t just my job — it’s truly what I love to do every day. Working in veterinary medicine has given me experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. Whether your furry family member needs medications, extra patience, or just lots of cuddles and playtime, I’m comfortable and confident providing safe, attentive care. I’m especially tuned in to reading body language and recognizing when something might be off, so your pet’s health and happiness are always my top priority. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to treat them like one of my own. You can expect plenty of updates, photos, and reassurance while you’re away. Before caring for your pet, I love learning as much as possible about them so I can give them the best, most personalized care! Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, energy level, and any little quirks that make them unique. It’s also very important that I’m aware of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, past injuries, or behavioral concerns (like anxiety, reactivity, or escape tendencies). As a vet tech, I’m comfortable administering medications and monitoring health concerns — I just like to be fully prepared ahead of time.

I have been using Deb services for the past 15 years. She has stayed in our home as well as stopping by for day walks and feedings. She has several years experience as a vet tech and had no problem administering our large dogs medication. Deb has always followed our feeding and daily routines without any issues. She always sends us pictures of our pets while we are away. It gives us great piece if mind knowing our pets are in such good hands.

Schedule
I currently work for the school district transporting special needs children which gives me more free time during the day and summers. I also work part-time as a vet tech for an animal rescue.

Helpful details include feeding schedule and diet, litter box setup, favorite activities or hiding spots, and how your pet typically responds to new people. Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or mobility considerations, as well as your veterinarian’s contact information and emergency preferences. I also appreciate knowing household details such as entry instructions, where supplies are kept, and any areas your pet should or shouldn’t access. The more I know about your pets normal habits and environment, the easier it is for me to keep their routine consistent and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away.
