“Did a great job with our 5 cats and 1 dog while we were gone for a week and a half.”

About: I have always had pets in my home as a child and as an adult. I believe in fresh air for the dogs and treats for good behavior, if owner I do ask that your pet have a crate to sleep in at night. Please bring something from home for their comfort as well. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule that would accommodate many options for pet owners. I have a pug mix dog named Fonzy and he loves making new dog friends. I take care of pets in my own home. I will feed and clean pets. Walking and playing is a part of my daily routine with my own dog, Fonzy.

Not only has she been an excellent caregiver, but she has also gone above and beyond to shower our babies with love and attention as if they're her own. Her reliability and genuine affection for animals are qualities that truly sets her apart. I can't thank her enough for providing the peace of mind while I'm on work trips around the globe. About: I grew up with many family pets (cats, dogs, barnyard, etc.), so when friends or family left town they would ask me to watch their animals. As an adult friends still think of me to care of their pets. I’ve just checked in on (a meal and potty break) to full pet sitting for weeks on animals sized all the way from cats and Dachshunds up to Great Danes and Pit Bulls. They have been anywhere from freshly brought home puppies to older timers and ranged from being self reliant and really needing a lounging buddy all the way to pets needing constant attention and regular medicine/outside breaks. Beyond that though, I have had 5 years of professional work experience at a dog kennel (German Shepherds). That includes taking care of +10 dogs daily needs such as feeding, exercising, very basic training, grooming, and providing medicine. I am currently working full time on weekdays. So I am limited to being available after 4:30pm weekdays, but have open availability most all weekends. I am currently living in a house with my cats and can only offer your pet leashed visits to the green spaces on the property or a visit to the parks in Pierce County. I would prefer providing care to pets in their space and around sights and smells they already know. Unless you know your pet does well in a new environment, I like keeping comfort and regular routines in mind for pets.

About: I’ve been involved in animal care for over 10 years, my first job ever at 16 was at a dog boarding facility and I currently work as a veterinary assistant. I am well versed in caring for all age stages and all breeds. I’m able to medicate pets if needed by their owners as well. I currently work part time at an animal hospital and would be available Monday- Wednesday, between 8 am and 2 pm for walks or drop - in visits. Safety is the number one priority, whether I’m walking pets on leash in public access areas or having a play date in a clients home, I will always ensure doors and gates are closed and I will always be vigilant when out on walks. Ensuring leashes, collars, or harnesses are on correctly before every walk will always be a priority.

“She responded quickly for a last minute request and even came out very early the next morning to meet our dogs before the drop in visit. 10/10!”

About: I have grown up with many different kinds of animals for as long as I can remember, including dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and even ducks & geese! I am an avid animal of all kinds lover and will always give them endless amounts of love and attention, always treating & caring for them as though they were my own. I am currently only working side gigs as I take care of my own fur babies at home, so I have lots of time, attention, and love to give to your pet(s)! I have a two-story home with a good sized, fenced in back yard, with lots of grass for your fur baby to run around and play in.

I have a pup of my own so my schedule is already built around pup time! And mine is still a baby (6 months) so lots of potty breaks and play times! I have a 5 acre property with lots of space, and a pup to keep your lots of company. I also have kennels if necessary and a bed big enough for all the pup cuddles :)

About: I have worked at an animal hospital for 5 years total where I learned how to train dogs from Kathy Sadao who used to train the wales to relinquish the bombs for the Navy. I have owned large and XL breed dogs my whole life as well. I will treat your dog like a human child as they will be allowed on my furniture, my bed, and probably my kids beds as well. I have a little over 10 acres for them to play on. We are starting a small farm style residents and would love to shower your fur babies with love and attention. Since starting Rover, 90% of my clients are returning, and become part of our family as well. I have trained people’s dogs in the time I have had them along with help manage dogs anxiety’s to different things. I helped a water aggressive dog become no longer water aggressive. A dog who pulled on a leash so hard you couldn’t walk him to now, my 6 year old son walks him with no worries. As much as my family loves to play with and cuddle your 4 legged babies we also love to help you out by training them if we can. I have plenty of time for all pet care needs to be met. I am a stay at home mom, but all my kids now go to school so your fur babies will have all my attention most of the time during the week. Laurin M.
“I can’t say enough good things about Laurin! She recently cared for my three Rottweilers—Roxy, Dinah, and Tucker—and treated them as if they were her own. Rottweilers can be a handful, but Laurin managed them with so much love, patience, and attention. Not only did she make sure they got plenty of exercise with regular walks, but she also kept them engaged and happy with fun activities. It’s clear Laurin has a true passion for dogs and their well-being. When I came home, my dogs were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. Knowing they were in such good hands gave me incredible peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone to treat your dogs like family, I highly recommend Laurin!”
