“Kristyne watched our 6-year-old Cavapoo for 7 nights and was so amazing with our pup! Our dog is a timid and sweet girl who always takes a couple of days to adjust to a new place. Kristyne kept us updated with photos and check ins, and asked questions when she had them. She took such good care of her with lots of snuggles, play time, and walks. We are so grateful and would definitely have our dog visit with Kristyne again!”

“Bear, our energetic 10.5 yr old poodle, had a great time with Tessa (and Charlie) while we were out of the country. Tessa was great with communication from start to finish and kept us updated while we were away with notes and pictures. She (and Charlie) ensured Bear was part of their pack! She also made sure he ate well, especially with his picky diet and finicky eating patterns. He came back to us happy! We would absolutely call upon Tessa again to care for Bear while we are away.”

“Our dog Odin was very well taken care of by Sean. Sean was accommodating of Odin’s needs and was flexible with scheduling when needed which we really appreciate. He was able to take Odin for a longer stay as a new client. Odin definitely had a great time staying with Sean while we were away. We’d recommend Sean to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Lyndsey took incredible care of my golden. She truly loves dogs and has the best in mind for them. She introduced our dog to hers, took them for a hike, let the dogs have the whole home to play for the day. Highly recommended, we planning another visit soon!”

“I highly recommend Julia as a pet sitter. Her daily updates were reassuring, and Tootsie looked very well-cared for throughout. Julia's attention to detail and communication made the experience positive for both me and my pet.”

“Aly was extremely helpful when watching my cat. Made sure to keep me updated, even asked how often I’d want updates. Great environment for a dog or cat, accommodated all of my requests and I could tell my cat was happy and entertained there”

“Julie was great! It is clear that she cares so much about animals. She was easy to coordinate with and receptive to all of the things we told her about our dog. Easton had a blast running around the yard with her dog and he came home exhausted. Absolutely will use Julie again!”

About: I have experience with most small and medium breeds of dogs, from Italian Greyhounds (my own!) and other sighthounds to Australian Shepherds, Dachshunds, Maltese, Border Collies, Labs, Lab/Pit mixes, and other wonderful dogs who don't fall into a single breed. I have cared for my family's Italian Greyhounds for 30 years, most recently nursing my dog back to health when he was using a feeding tube and multiple medications after surgery. He is now healthier than ever and free of all meds and treatments! I'm happy to walk your dog in the neighborhood area, or let them play in my fenced yard. I am able to assist with senior dogs and am able to administer oral medications. When your dogs come over to visit, they will be loved and cuddled, have access to toys, and have the option to play with two highly socialized iggies (Italian Greyhounds). I work from home as an independent art curator, so this gives me the ability to be quite flexible in scheduling and in adapting to provide the best care for your dog. Your dog(s) will get lots of cuddles and scratches/massage (whatever they like!), as there are always dogs surrounding me whenever I am sitting. Outside time can be leash walking around the neighborhood or playing in the fenced yard, or leash walking in the unfenced portion of the yard. We can also go to a dog park if that’s their jam. Treat time (treats approved by you, their person) usually happens after going potty or as a treat between meals. For sleeping, I’ll try to replicate what they are used to at home, whether that is sleeping in their own bed on the floor, sleeping in human bed with their people, or sleeping in a bed in a crate (I have extra crates and beds). Upon arrival, they will be introduced to my well-adjusted Italian Greyhounds individually so as to make sure everyone is comfortable.

“Debbie and her family are amazing. They treat your dogs like they are their own and your dog is the only one she watches while they are there so they get her full attention. Highly recommend.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Sophia her family and Rex! Communication was always excellent and my dog had a blast, with them. He went on nature walks and got plenty of love and playtime. Also, their dog Rex is the BEST boy with an amazing, temperament. He’s a sweetheart, who loves belly rubs and is my dog’s new, best friend. Highly recommended!”

“Lace was so great! Winston was so happy there and loved playing with her dogs- he came home happy and exhausted! We’ll definitely be staying with Lace again.”

“Debbie took amazing care of my tiny pupp! He felt comfortable within minutes of our meet and greet. My dog can be very shy but he made himself at home right away. He especially loved one of her dogs and they played/snuggled together. I was even (very) late to pick up and she was very flexible/understanding. I more than appreciate her taking care of my furbaby!”

“Jodi and her family are the absolute best - our pup has stayed with them many times now during our travels. We think he might like their house better than ours and joke that he is going to sleepover camp! Highly recommend.”

“I used Rover for the first time time with Emily and she kept me updated with pictures of my Lyla multiple times a day. She made me feel so reinsured and had a great fenced in yard for the dogs to roam. She even let my Lyla sleep with her which was so sweet! Thank you so much Emily!”

“Emily was warm, kind and knows pups! She treated our dog like her own, with tons of fun toys, outings(!) and Relaxing. And her dog Zola is sweet as can be :). This was our first time leaving our puppy, and we were able to relax knowing she was in excellent care with a flexible, attentive dog lover. Thanks, Emily!”

“Minglu & Yilun were wonderful boarders to my energetic and clingy 3 year old Boxer. My dog Brindle began panting excessively very soon after I left her and it continued throughout the day. The day it happened, Minglu and Yilun notified me right away. I called the vet, and they brought Brindle in and stayed with her until she was diagnosed with an anxiety attack. They kept me well-informed throughout, sending daily photos and videos. They reassured me she was doing well and were kind enough to give her a new ball—which she absolutely loves. Brindle came home happy!”

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life—raising my own dog from a puppy and sharing life with my cat for over 11 years. I’ve also looked after many friends’ and neighbors’ dogs and cats, handling everything from feeding and walking to playtime I love working with puppies and active pets—preferably walking dogs. I’m almost always in back bay or downtown boston. Feel free to reach out! 😊 I'm flexible, and mostly work from home. I'm entirely available on weekends and also am often in the back bay area, which is preferred for me to stop by for dog/cat care, and taking them on walks. I think I have a natural knack for telling when a pet is uneasy - and I regularly check on them to make sure they are in the happiest state, go on walks or play with them regularly, besides from providing them basic necessities.

“Calvin is the best pet sitter, truly! I received so many pics and updates throughout the weekend. I genuinely felt very safe leaving my girl with him over the weekend. I couldn’t recommend him enough and will definitely get in touch the next time we need a sitter!!”

“Wonderful experience!!! Jaguar stayed for a month had a wonderful time there. He was well taken care of, and he met many dog friends there. Gus and Marian are super nice and caring. They kept Jaguar comfortable and entertained. I got daily updates on Jaguar and many cute pictures of him and his new firends. Ollie, the host’s dog, is super friendly. Jaguar and him became friends immediately. This experience was beyond my expectations. Best stay ever.”
