About: Hi I have been around animals my whole life, growing up with both cats and dogs. I’ve had a dog of my own for 8 years, giving me personal experience in canine care, behavior, and training. In addition to my personal experience, I volunteer at The Animal Pad in San Diego, working hands-on with rescue dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I ensure every walk is safe, engaging, and tailored to your dog’s needs—whether it’s a leisurely stroll or an energy-burning adventure. Tristan was an absolute lifesaver on multiple occasions for our recent vacation!! Not only was she able to come through for us super last minute due to a very late cancellation by the sitter we had lined up, but she also changed her plans to help us when our flight home was cancelled and pushed to the following day. In these two stressful situations Tristan provided peace of mind by being incredibly flexible, responsive, and most importantly, very friendly! In terms of the actual dog sitting, she was excellent as well - she provided the perfect amount of communication/ pictures, wasn't afraid to ask questions if something came up, and also left our place in immaculate condition. We felt our dogs were in very caring hands! Nicole watched my dog Sonny for the weekend and took such a great care of him. She was great about meeting beforehand to learn his feeding schedule and where we kept all of his items that he needs through out the day. While I was away she checked in regularly with pictures showing that she brought him to his favorite park every day to get his regular exercise and even pictures of them relaxing at home making me feel very confident of leaving him in in her care. 10/10. I have 3 very different animals with varying temperaments and felt so comfortable leaving them with Shelby. The pictures and videos put me at ease and she left my home just like she found it! I already rebooked with her for future pet sitting. If you’re nervous about leaving your fur babies, Shelby is the way to go!
We were fortunate to find Lilly who has been an excellent resource and caring soul to dogsit Rico, our active, while we were gone on a holiday. We appreciated all her pupdates and photos, while keeping Rico consistent on his routine to manage his separation anxiety and our stress about leaving him behind for the first time for several days.
