First experience using Rover! Best experience ever! Our worries and/or concerns were immediately removed after dropping Chief off, through Karen's extraordinary efforts keeping us informed via pictures, videos and messages beginning within 10 minutes of dropping Chief off with her. Normally Chief fails to eat during travel days/boarding, but easily ate two meals that day and one in the morning. His playful and very hyper spirit remained the entire time he stayed with Karen, and one could argue he was upset leaving, haha. Needless to say, we will definitely be requesting Karen the next time we are in the area! Thanks again Karen for your love and attention with our baby Chief!
Rebecca was great! I truly believe I picked the best person for my pup. He is older in age (not quite a senior, but it’s coming up!) and he is extremely timid and can come off a little aggressive - but I assure you he’s not. Rebecca learned that very quickly! He tries to be a big man when meeting new people, but she softened him up quick! My boy will barely eat anything while I’m gone, but she made sure he had snacks and treats during his hunger strike! She sent me photos and videos every day, giving me updates on how he was doing. Which I absolutely loved getting to see him warm up to her quickly! Once she began petting him, it was a done deal. There was no turning back from that, he was already set on her attention (because he’s already used to being spoiled with being pet constantly by me). She took videos of them going on walks together, showing how comfortable and excited he was. Photos of him picking “his spot” to lay. She even mentioned he snuggled with her which tells me A LOT about her! I did ask before hand if she wouldn’t mind brushing him out with a deshedder for a bit every day because he is a big, full bred German Shepard, so he SHEDS. She was more than happy to take on the task, which is a monster of a task, because I don’t even know where all the hair comes from every day that I brush him! When he came home, he looked happy and he definitely looked like he had been getting brushed out pretty well as he was silky smooth looking. She loved him! I was almost afraid I wouldn’t get my dog back because she was more than happy to offer to spend more time with him if I needed it (I’m kidding, she definitely gave my boy back lol) but I now know who I can take him to where he is comfortable and happy instead of constantly stressed. And I know I’ll get photos and updates because I never have been without him for too long, so that was a big relief. I can’t be happier with choosing Rebecca to take care of my special, timid boy. I felt like he was safe, loved, and taken care of. I would truly 100% recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter. Big dogs, older dogs, reactive dogs, timid dogs, or dogs that take comfort in being around their owner. Because that is exactly my boy and she did a wonderful job! Next time I need a sitter, I’ll definitely be returning! DO NOT MISS OUT ON A SITTER WHO WILL LOVE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR BABY! She’s worth it!
I can’t say enough good things about the Nancy (can I give her 10 stars?)! I had a last minute need for someone to watch my 6 month old Cavalier (Koda) and was so lucky to find her. She went above and beyond in every way. Koda didn’t just get taken care of—he had an actual vacation. She took him on walks, explored Old Town with him, brought him on a hike, and even to a brewery. Every day I’d get tons of updates and truly incredible photos—Koda looked like he was having the time of his life. Knowing he was in such caring, capable hands made my week so much less stressful. When I picked him up, he was honestly sad to leave her (I don’t blame him!). If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own and keep them entertained and loved, you’ve found her. I’m hoping she’ll be up for hanging with Koda again very soon—he already misses her!
Nothing but good things can be said about Gabriela! This is my second time booking her services and I could not feel more confident or content while I am out of town! She is very good about sending updates and keeping me at ease with my furbaby. 10/10 will be booming again!
