“Sylvia provided amazing care to my cat and was great at communicating updates with me while I was gone for 5 days. I definitely recommend her and hope to book again!”

“Lani went above and beyond for our drop in visits! The LA fires broke out while we were away, and the power went out. Lani took initiative to store our cat’s refrigerated food at her house so it wouldn’t spoil. She took excellent care of our elderly cat, administering her meds twice a day and taking care to clean up and give her cuddles. It was so comforting to know she was looking out for our cat during the craziness of the fires. Our cat was calm and happy when we returned. Will definitely book with Lani again! 😻”

About: I’ve walked my sister’s dog regularly and pet sit cats and dogs for friends. Would love my own but until then have just befriended my neighborhood pets! I have a very flexible schedule, aside from a few gym classes each week. Prefer afternoons and evenings if possible, but other times okay too. Would follow all the rules and requirements you have for your pet. Open to whatever recommendations you have, such as feeding requirements, bathroom break frequency, etc.

“Megan is a godsend! This was my first time hiring a professional sitter and being for a week, it was the longest I was leaving my 2 cats alone. Megan not only came over for a meet n greet, but when one of my cats was unexpectedly prescribed an oral med for the week of my trip, she came over twice to practice (and was a natural!) She is so sweet and professional and I didn’t have to worry about my kitties once, she checked in every day with pics and I got to enjoy my trip. She even came over the day after to drop off my keys as I forgot to tell her where to leave them. Megan is the definition of ABOVE AND BEYOND! Can’t wait to hire her again and recommending her to every fur parent I know!”

About: Hi, I’m Marlyn! I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all sizes. I’ve pet-sat for friends and family and now have the time and passion to help others through Rover. I don’t have pets or kids of my own right now, so I’ll treat your furbaby like family—with lots of love and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time. I prioritize making space in my day for walks, playtime, feeding, and any special care a pet might need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on keeping them safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk times, or play habits. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I always keep the space clean and pet-safe. I also provide regular updates to the owners, so they feel confident their pets are in good hands.

“Mayte did a great job of taking care of my cat and sent me lots of pictures!”

About: I have taught my dogs basic, yet necessary commands. I nurtured my 6 year old lab back to health, recovering from her TPLO surgery with no complications! I currently have 5 dogs in the family ranging from 13lbs up to 80lbs, and one funny little cat. I have always loved animals and grew up birds, iguanas, bunnies, cats, dogs and turtles. Quite frankly, I am happiest when I am with my pets and love meeting new ones whenever I get the chance. Currently I am working a part time job, only 10hrs a week. I have a pretty open schedule so I have plenty of time to spare. Since my dogs are house trained, I am confident I can spare some time to offer my services to those with tighter schedules and would be more than happy to! I work on Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. If you care for services any of those days feel free to reach out! My time is a little more limited then, but I am willing to see if we can work around my work schedule! I take my dogs on regular walks (I would say abono every 2-3hrs). Although they may not need to potty I find it important to give them as much time outside as I can. When I can keep up I’ll also run/jog with my 1.5yr old pitty/staffie mix since she has a lot of energy. If I can’t due to harsh weather, I cut their treats really small and have them chase the pieces back and forth across my apartment so they get their exercise. As for my cat, she’s mostly hands off and likes to do her own lazy things, but I still give her pets and treats here and there. They are loved dearly and I make sure they feel so every day.

“Emelida was awesome and very sweet. My two year old cat and kitten loved her. Without her I would have been worried all day about my cats. I was able to come home to happy cats. Thank you so much Emelida!”

“Alice is awesome!! She's friendly, sweet, and very professional. I could tell immediately that our kitty was in great hands, and was reassured throughout the weekend with lots of photos and videos. Alice stayed in our apartment and left everything nice and clean. You can definitely trust her with your fur baby and your home! We've already booked Alice for our next trip and will definitely be relying on her in the future!”

“Amazing experience with Jessenia! She was very helpful, understanding, caring, and very good with all lf my lovely pets! Would definitely recommend her to a friend, and I will be happy to hire her again in the future!”

“Bonnie is a top-notch walker and caregiver, and has always done a wonderful job with our dog, Max. She has taken him on hikes, which Max loves, and has also watched him when our family’s been away. She’s very attentive to his needs and is conscientious about his wellness and health. Max is generally a friendly dog, and gets along well with lots of people, but he positively _adores_ Bonnie, which reflects how well she treats him. We recommend Bonnie highly and will certainly be entrusting Max to her care again.”

East Los Angeles cat parents share their Rover experiences
I I was really nervous about leaving my shy senior cat while I was out of town, but Kristine immediately put us both at ease. From the moment she walked in, he warmed up to her and came out to say hello, which is rare for him! Kristine took amazing care of him, including giving his medications (not an easy task), and kept me updated with photos and detailed messages. She even went above and beyond by helping vacuum. I felt totally confident he was in good hands the whole time. Highly recommend!

Lani is amazing! Very reliable, always communicates in a timely manner and sends plenty of pics. She's so sweet to our fur baby's and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things are a-ok at home. We've hired her plenty of times over the past few years and she's always come through!
