3. Brian V.

“Brian has been a lifesaver for me as my cat has been struggling with a kidney infection. He was very kind, compassionate, caring and yet comfortably firm with my cats during his visits. He was always on time and twice adjusted his visit around my chaotic schedule. I really appreciated his flexibility. We had a few schedule mixups with the Rover system, but Brian responded quickly and professionally and thoroughly took care of us. I will definitely be booking Brian again. He is exactly what I hoped Rover would be.”

5. Amber H.
“Amber Harper took care of my 90 pound rough collie in the past. She did an excellent job, walking him and keeping him. I had left a little list of what his routine would be for the day and she followed this exactly. Danny boy got all his treats on schedule along with freshwater and his meals on time. She even texted me a couple pictures of him laying beside her napping. I highly recommend Amber to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, pet caregiver. I feel she is completely reliable and she is a gentle caring person.”

About: I’ve been a long term Wiener dog mom for 20 years now. So, I can say I’m a connoisseur of little dogs with big attitudes. I specialize in senior pup care as my last 2 doxies lived fulfilled lives to almost 15 and 17 years old. In the past, I was an avid Rover customer utilizing their boarding and walking services. Now that both of my pups have passed on, I want to share my love for dogs by taking care of yours- before I explore the option of getting another. I’m a property manager that works from home. So, I have lots of free time for walks and play. I know all the best DTLA dog spots as I’m a Los Angeles native. I have history of administering medication and history with pets with disabilities. At Your Service I work from home Monday - Friday and home weekends. I am the property manager for the community I live in, so I’m free for frequent walks and outings. My community is gated access with 24 hour concierge service. I can also be found in the leasing office during the week. If out on a walk, our doorman will direct you to the lobby.

8. Alexis S.
About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs in the past and have had a dog my whole life! I have also had a cat and birds and frogs before too. I’m a huge animal lover and am here to help in any way that I can! I’m typically an associate product manager in corporate America who has the flexibility to work from home. With this flexibility, I’m able to provide your pet with the care and attention necessary. I myself have a dog and take her on a walk around 3 times daily and can accommodate accordingly to your pet’s schedule. I have over twenty years of pet parenting experience with a lot of different types of animals and take watching another persons pet extremely seriously. I’ve had pets on my own and know how much they mean to people. I would treat your pet like my own and make sure that they are loved on and cared for.

11. Yesika O.
About: I have extensive pet care experience, having lovingly tended to my two dogs. Sadly, in Dec of 2021, my 8-year-old Akita (King), an active and playful companion with a bear-like fur coat, passed unexpectedly due to a stomach mass. His dense fur required regular grooming to manage shedding effectively, a task I undertook diligently to keep him comfortable and healthy. Additionally, my 17-year-old senior dog (Scooby) succumbed to an oral tumor in April of 2024. He came into our life when he was just 7 months old. As he got older and into his senior years, he required specialized medical attention including IV administration, pills, and a special diet. I also spoke Spanish to my furbabies, in case yours do too. My love for dogs and missing King and Scooby, are who motivated me to join Rover. Giving the same love to other pets as if they were my own. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine since I work from home with a flexible schedule. While I occasionally have virtual meetings, my company values pets, with many colleagues being pet owners, fostering supportive conversations about our furry companions. I was motivated to join Rover and the community of dog walkers to help ease the loss of my beloved furbabies. I hope to heal by providing other pets with the same love and attention I gave mine. I own my home and have a private large fenced backyard. With some artificial grass, DG and concrete. In the years I lived here with my own pets, neither of them ever got out. I have A/C in my home to keep potty trained pets comfortable. I treat pets like family, I am constantly checking to see where they are, what there doing and enjoy learning there behaviors. I observe each pet and pay attention to how they eat, behave and react so I can better understand them. Quality of a pets life is so important.

13. Melissa M.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care Melissa provided for my dog, Tiny. She was attentive, loving, and made sure Tiny was comfortable and happy the entire time. She even gave Tiny’s medicines on time and with ease and kept me updated throughout. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like family!”

14. Cesar P.
About: I’ve taken care of big and small dogs for years and believe the path to a good dog is only achieved when they are mentally stimulated and all their needs are met. I like to take dogs on different routes and explore what they’re comfortable with. Every walk is a training opportunity however sometimes a dog just needs to be a dog and that’s ok. I currently work part time during the weekends and all day Monday and Tuesday therefore I’m available Wed-Friday 9am-7pm. Other days will may vary and will be reflected on the aviation calendar. Dogs are wonderful companions and I like to treat them as such. I explore what they’re comfortable with and what they aren’t and go from there. I understand many things can happen however I’m prepared for worst case scenario. Every walk I prepare for the worst but hope for the best. I believe trust is vital not only between the dog owner and dog walker but also between the dog and the walker. Having both will assure everyone stays safe and happy.

15. Lesly P.
“I believe that Lesly would be a perfect dog sitter/walker because she is very gentle and careful with her own pets. She has also watched other dogs in the past and got amazing feedback for it.”

16. Melissa S.
“To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Melissa Sanchez for any role involving the care and well-being of dogs. Over the past year, Melissa has demonstrated exceptional dedication and reliability while helping me care for my beloved dog during my frequent work travels. Melissa consistently went above and beyond to ensure my dog’s physical and emotional needs were met.
