About: I grew up with a dog of my own, and I didn't realize how high maintenance and sassy she was until I started dog-sitting for my friend's and extended family's dogs. I've had experience with dogs of all kinds: from anxious pups who need extra patience and reassurance, to energetic ones that love to play, as well as easy going. I know every dog is different, but I am willing to adapt to their unique needs and routine I'd love to meet and take care of your best friend. My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time to care for your pup(s). We can work out what's best for you! My philosophy is: leave a place (or a pup!) better than when you found it. I'm a rule follower, and I can adapt to your wants and needs.
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve spent more than 20 years raising dogs — including a Spitz–Collie mix, Japanese Akita, Elkhound, German Shepherd mix, and Doberman — and I’ve been a Zen cat mom to two wonderful cats, a tortoiseshell and a tuxedo, for the past 15 years. I’m new to the area and absolutely love animals. As an entrepreneur, I’m able to keep a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for pet care. I see pet sitting as a wonderful way to stay active while exploring and getting to know my new community. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. In your home, I follow your instructions closely — including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or yard breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and favorite routines or rituals. During house sitting and drop-in visits, I also keep an eye on your home’s safety, bring in mail or packages, and maintain a calm, tidy environment. For dogs, I provide structured walks, playtime, and plenty of affection while respecting their energy level and training style. For cats, I offer gentle interaction at their pace — whether that’s playtime, quiet companionship, or simply maintaining their preferred environment — along with daily litter care and enrichment. My goal is always to reduce stress, maintain consistency, and ensure every pet feels secure, seen, and well-cared for in their familiar space.

“Jackalyn is awesome. Communicates great trustworthy and takes my pup on a nice long walk everyday when im at work. She goes above and beyond! Just in the past two weeks she had to fight off another dog that tried to bite my dog while she was walking him and also picked up the trash that my dog got into while I was away. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have been raised around dogs, fostering cocker spaniels and learned how to manage/train dogs with basic mannerisms. I have always loved being around dogs and staying active within my community and having a dog definitely highlights those positive features of my lifestyle. Living away from home and my dog, being able to incorporate dog care back into my schedule would be no issue whatsoever. I am a student athlete so my schedule is less flexible than others but Fridays and weekends when we aren’t competing tend to be pretty flexibile. I enjoy playing with dogs when they are rowdy and cuddling with them once they are worn down. At home, I would take my dog for daily 20-45 minute walks. Making sure they truly had time to take care of business. I will feed a dogs obviously whenever they need to be fed, reward them with treats for good behavior, and pay the cheese tax of course!

“Jacob is incredible! Always reliable and quick to respond. I love that I always get photos on the walks and that his pup gets to join! Highly recommended!”

About: I grew up on a small farm with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have experience taking care of large and small pets, as well as many cats or dogs at a time. I am experienced at providing services such as individualized feeding and bathroom routines, and other grooming and healthcare needs. My mother is also a veterinarian so I got to spend a lot of time at the vet hanging out with many different pets. I live an active lifestyle and can help meet the play and exercise needs of dogs. Each pet is unique and I love getting to know them individually to ensure comfort. I am a graduate from the university of Utah, currently working on applying to grad school. I work remotely so I have plenty of free time to take care of pets and provide needed services. I live in a house with 3 roommates and a big backyard, so I can have pets over but not usually for extended periods of time. The best thing is for me to meet your pets in their home to reduce stress and ensure comfort. I am very good at handling all sorts of behaviors and following directions to a T. I can accommodate the needs of you and your furry friends.
“Hannah was great! Took my dog on what looked like a great walk and played fetch in a nearby park. I felt so at ease knowing she took such good care of my dog! We will definitely be asking Hannah to walk our dog again in the future ☺️”

“My Gosh this sweet lady is absolutely the very Best! My Dog adores her and me too. She has so much experience and knowledge with animals of all kinds. Exceptional to meet and have a dog walker of this caliber! Thank you Rover and especially Jeannene !”

“Anna did a great job. I reached out very last minute. She was flexible with her day and squeezed us in. Showed up on time walked the 2 pups, and sent us pics. I would book her again absolutely.”

About: I have loved dogs and puppies since before I could walk. I was the main caretaker of a 4 year old dog since he was a puppy before I moved to college, and now that I’ve graduated I want to be able to care for dogs again! I absolutely love the outdoors, including going on walks or hikes and parks. I'm very energetic, hard working, and punctual! I'll try to get back as soon as I can on any sitter requests. Feel free to let me know any special requests with your dog, I'm pretty flexible.

“Sadie always has a great time with Sheila! Since I'm gone 12 hours a day, it feels good knowing that I can depend on Sheila to help take care of my dog. She was very thorough and asked good questions during our first meeting, and lets me know far in advance if she's going to be out of town.”

“Keslee was available to walk our dogs last minute (we requested the night before) she responded quickly and communicated well. She did a great job with our three crazy pups.”

About: I have experience with small puppies (2 months old) and older dogs, and I am super comfortable with big dogs, but I also love smaller dogs! I currently am a full-time student, so pet care is ideal for me as I have plenty of time to spend with the dog(s), but can also still get my assignments done! I am comfortable leashing dogs and walking them in safe areas, I have experience with reactive and anxious dogs, and am more than willing to do whatever eases the owner’s mind!

About: I am a dog trainer with experience handling reactive/ aggressive dogs to service dogs. I am comfortable handling different temperaments and all different types of training techniques. I work part time as a dog trainer so I have plenty of time to pop by for a walk or a quick snack break. I have a 9 year old boxer and a 2 year old cat. I live on the third floor but I love spending time at the city parks and adventuring around Salt Lake City.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and have been in the veterinary field for 2 years. I'm looking to do some dog walking for the summer, and am a regular cat sitter! I'm available Mon-Wed at any time in the day! I can make Sundays work after 12pm. I'm currently working full time Thurs-Sat 1p-1a so I will be unavailable those days and Sunday mornings. I am happy to petsit at your home, or I can stop by to give your fuzzy creature a potty break! Unfortunately I live in a small apartment and am unable to petsit within my home.
