What sets me apart? Well I am not your average pet sitter! I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to ducks, turtles, and birds. I’m experienced with more than just dogs and cats, I’ve cared for birds, fish, turtles, and even helped with ducks, so I’m confident with all kinds of pets and personalities. I’m a dog mom to Winnie and have volunteered at the humane society, which has helped me develop a calm, patient approach—especially with shy or anxious animals. With a background as a medical assistant (and future PA), I’m detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with medications and special care needs. Flexible schedule, lots of attention, and genuine love for animals—your pet will be safe, happy, and well cared for with me.

Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I create a calm and secure environment by following each pet’s routine, ensuring they feel comfortable and stress-free. I pay close attention to their behavior, needs, and any special instructions provided by the owner. When walking dogs, I use secure leashes, avoid unsafe areas, and monitor their body language to ensure they feel safe. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines while providing the same level of care and attention I would for my own dog. My experience raising my own pup has taught me how to handle skittish or anxious dogs with patience and confidence, creating a trusting bond with every pet I care for.

Amber took great care of our cat while we were away. She was extremely responsive via messages and always arrived for visits on schedule. She also dealt with some unexpected curveballs (like our poor buddy vomiting up a hairball on the first day), for which we are very grateful. Thank you, Amber!
Amber was very kind and helpful with walking our dog, Clark. He can be reactive on walks but she handled him well and offered some new tips on redirecting him. He is very protective of us but he took to Amber tight away after a few treats. I would recommend her for her services.

Zeitplan
As a college student with a flexible schedule, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. Since I’m not working at the moment, I have plenty of availability throughout the day to provide walks, playtime, and attentive care. Whether your dog needs a midday walk, an evening stroll, or extra attention, I can easily adjust to their schedule. Plus, having raised my own dog since she was a puppy, caring for pets is second nature to me, I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.
