About: I have loved dogs and puppies since before I could walk. I was the main caretaker of a 4 year old dog since he was a puppy before I moved to college, and now that I’ve graduated I want to be able to care for dogs again! I absolutely love the outdoors, including going on walks or hikes and parks. I'm very energetic, hard working, and punctual! I'll try to get back as soon as I can on any sitter requests. Feel free to let me know any special requests with your dog, I'm pretty flexible.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Long before joining Rover, I was trusted by friends, family, and neighbors when they needed a pet sitter or dog walker. I love getting to know each pet's personality and making sure they feel safe and loved. As someone with my own fur-babies, I know how it feels to be away from them! I understand that everyone and their pets are different! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I'm able to give pets plenty of care and attention throughout the day. Whether that's walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I'm happy to fit their routine into mine. Growing up in a cat-dog household, I have experience with both! I always prioritize keeping their routine as normal as possible by carefully following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions provided by you. I am happy to keep owners updated with messages and cute/silly photos!

About: Previous experience with dogs and cats at local shelters as well as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Knowledgd in providing care for all types of different animals. Outside of roller derby training with the local league and volunteering with the food bank, my schedule is open and available to help with your pet care needs. I have previous experience with senior pets, special needs pets, and animals with low socializing issues; however, I am not a trained nor certified trainer.

About: House and cat sitting for a family with five cats. Some cats were elderly and required special needs. Cleans litter boxes daily and takes in mail and any packages. I am an educator and currently free every weekday between 8-6. I am on summer break now and go back to my school at the beginning of August. I am skilled in housekeeping and take extra care in keeping your home nice. I have high standards and will not leave a job site unorganized or a mess.

About: Hi, I’m Solveig! I love caring for cats and dogs! I’ve had my cat, Autumn, for four years now, and I’ve grown up with dogs in my family. I’ve fed, played with, walked, and cared for my family’s dogs from a young age. I’m also an experienced pet-sitter with over ten years of experience caring for cats and dogs in my neighborhood. I love spending time with animals, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats who are shyer and more anxious, as well as those with more exuberant personalities! I’m comfortable administering oral and injected medications and caring for senior dogs and cats as well. I’ve spent more than 20 years raising dogs — including a Spitz–Collie mix, Japanese Akita, Elkhound, German Shepherd mix, and Doberman — and I’ve been a Zen cat mom to two wonderful cats, a tortoiseshell and a tuxedo, for the past 15 years. I’m new to the area and absolutely love animals. As an entrepreneur, I’m able to keep a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for pet care. I see pet sitting as a wonderful way to stay active while exploring and getting to know my new community. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. In your home, I follow your instructions closely — including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or yard breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and favorite routines or rituals. During house sitting and drop-in visits, I also keep an eye on your home’s safety, bring in mail or packages, and maintain a calm, tidy environment. About: I have experience taking care of children and babies as well as pets, and even staying overnight to take care of animals. If you are looking for a caregiver, please reach out and I can give you my available dates! I am working part-time, sometimes traveling. Reach out for availability dates. During the summer I will have plenty of time when I am in town for your animals. I’m a full time student during the school year, but can still do anything! I can stay overnight or do drop ins. I will take your dogs on walks at least once a day, check in with them consistently, play with them, and do whatever it is that is part of their usual routine.

About: I love the dogs more then anything!! Taking my dog for a walk is one of my favorite things to do and I’m hoping to assist others that aren’t able to walk their dogs as much as they would like. I am super active and I love to go to the park. I live right across the street from sugarhouse park which is the perfect place to take dogs! I often watch my in-laws dogs and they get the royal treatment and don’t want to leave here! I can’t wait to meet some new pups! I currently only work three days a week so I have a lot of extra time on my hands and I also love to stay active. I’m always at the park with my dog or taking it on walks or playing with him. I am available to walk dogs Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday all day or Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in the mornings! I also have a dog stroller for older dogs that still want to have some fun and get out but can’t quite keep up! I am super cautious with dogs and keeping them safe and on leash at all times. I’ve learned some great training techniques as well with dogs. I always like to make them feel comfortable. I have a yorkie which is a high anxiety dog so I know how to deal with that very well. He also has pancreatitis so I know how important staying on a healthy diet is for all dogs! We also live right next to a park which is amazing for morning walks and a dog park that is great for those social dogs!
