About: I am a junior at Utah State University majoring in Veterinary Science, and am living at home for the summer while doing an Animal Care Internship at the Humane Society of Utah. Growing up, I had my own pet care business where I would walk neighbors dogs and watch them while their owners were away. In addition, I also have a lot of experience volunteering at the Humane Society, and was even given the award for “Most Valuable Volunteer” in 2023. I’m currently doing a part time internship on weekdays from 7am to noon, but I have flexible hours on Saturdays and weekday afternoons. I live close to SugarHouse in Salt Lake City. Happy to travel, have a clean and reliable car. I am a very responsible and detailed oriented person and have been told I easily connect with people’s pets. I also had my own lawn care business growing up and am happy to help with watering plants or bringing in packages if I am caring for your pet while you are away.

About: Been around animals all my life. Love them with all my heart. Just can’t afford my own. With working nights I find myself in a position where I can spend my mornings taking dogs out for walks. Playtime. Enjoying the fresh air. I work nights so I’m able to take your fur babies for walks in the morning and during the day and early afternoon before work. I’ll treat them like one of my own. And however you usually care for them. My goal is safe and non stressful care while I have your pets. Walks and treats. Play time and cuddles. If you feel more comfortable I can crate them. However I’m a firm believer in dogs are allowed in bed. I can’t say no.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Long before joining Rover, I was trusted by friends, family, and neighbors when they needed a pet sitter or dog walker. I love getting to know each pet's personality and making sure they feel safe and loved. As someone with my own fur-babies, I know how it feels to be away from them! I understand that everyone and their pets are different! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I'm able to give pets plenty of care and attention throughout the day. Whether that's walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I'm happy to fit their routine into mine. Growing up in a cat-dog household, I have experience with both! I always prioritize keeping their routine as normal as possible by carefully following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions provided by you. I am happy to keep owners updated with messages and cute/silly photos!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for the last 10 years before getting my own pup! I love all animals, and after using Rover myself, I know how important it is to find a great caretaker who will set your mind at ease and take great care of your fur baby. I am very responsive and flexible with my schedule, and will always keep you informed. I have experience with reactive dogs, administering medication, and handling multiple animals at once. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds and will give them the love and care they deserve as if they were my own. I have my own dog, so I am fully aware of how much time needs to be committed to their care, and will be very detail oriented with your pet! I will gladly accommodate specific walking routes, favorite toys or play times, or any special foods to treat or avoid. I have a fenced yard and am very conscious of dog interactions since my dog has some reactivity. I am always mindful of other dogs or animals on walks to make sure my dog is safe and I can redirect his attention or avoid confrontation with off leash dogs, and will show the same attentiveness with yours! For any boarding/doggy day care requests, I require that your pup be crate trained for at least 1 hour at a time comfortably.

About: Previous experience with dogs and cats at local shelters as well as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Knowledgd in providing care for all types of different animals. Outside of roller derby training with the local league and volunteering with the food bank, my schedule is open and available to help with your pet care needs. I have previous experience with senior pets, special needs pets, and animals with low socializing issues; however, I am not a trained nor certified trainer.

About: I’m happy to walk your dogs but I love taking them out in nature most of all. Was the proud owner of a 10 pound adventure Chihuahua who loved to hike, bike, and kayak with me. I’ve done dog sitting stints as long as three weeks and can provide good references. I love nothing more than to deliver a contently exhausted dog at the end of our time together! I currently have a Great Dane/Mastiff mix but she would not be with me when caring for your pet. My partner cares for her if I have clients. I am available full-time currently, and have the ability to work remotely for prolonged stays with your four-legged best friend. I do like advance notice but am flexible. I will care for your furry friend like their part of my fam! I will also respect your space and leave it better than I found it.

About: I have grown up with big and small dogs and have always loved them. I make sure to be very attentive to any dog I am with, bringing them on lots of walks, and hanging with them. I am an online student with a flexible schedule. This allows me to be very attentive to your dog, lots of walks, lots of hanging nearby. I take great care of pets. I make sure they get the exercise they need, and the time spent just hanging out close by. I think most dogs love to be around people as much as they can, and I make that happen!

About: I have always grown up with dogs and I cannot imagine my day to day without them. When I graduated college I adopted my first pup Chloe and did the training myself. It was so incredibly rewarding and she is now 6 and we still enjoy camping, exploring and hiking together. A bit over a year ago I rescued Finn and did his training at home as well. Together we are a super active household with two working dogs and a lifestyle geared towards the outdoors. I currently work fully remote and spend most of my time with my dogs outside. I am able to take multiple walks a day and am able to be super flexible with my schedule. My dogs personally are crate trained for when I am out of the house. When I am home they free range the living areas and have multiple beds and toys. They get water 24/7 and dry food twice a day. I am incredibly flexible to incorporate any needs or other requirements while watching another's pet.

About: Hey there! I am the mom of a 2 year old Silver Lab (Maddux) and 3 year old Dutch Shepherd (Hooch). Both my babies get along with other dogs great. I’ve grown up with multiple dogs so I’ve taken care of and been around dogs my entire life. I am surrounded by a wide variety of dog breeds on a daily basis because I work in an environment where I’m able to bring dogs to work. I am open to watching any breed or sized dog. About: I have always had a special affinity towards dogs! My mom adopted a German shepherd puppy the week I was born and since then I have lived with dogs my whole life! My family currently has a German short haired pointer that I helped raise and call my brother! I work a neuroscience PhD, and although it’s hard work, it allows for a very flexible schedule! I live right by campus, so going from work back to home for a pup is super easy! I have most weekends and afternoons free. I always treat a dog I haven’t met with as much care as my own! However, I always approach new dogs with caution and a keen eye for signs of trouble or causes for concern. I understand the value of quickly establishing boundaries and a hierarchy between myself and a dog. It’s okay to give a pup a firm “no” when they need it (maybe followed by a good butt scratch or two)

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, growing up with two amazing rescues and later rescuing my own black lab-pitbull mix in 2013. She was the sweetest companion, and for 12 wonderful years, we shared countless hikes, camping trips, and backcountry adventures together. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid and love to spend any free time I have helping people with their animal needs! I am flexible during my time off from work and can make many times work during the week! I am busy some weekends, but mostly free. I have a big backyard and a great neighborhood for walking and playing with animals! My roommates are great with animals and love to have them around.

About: Since I was a baby I had a white Lab named Cooper. Best friends have always had dogs. 3 years ago me and my mom took care of two little Labradors. I don’t currently have them anymore due to health reasons my mom was facing but would love to spend as most time as possible with animals, especially dogs. I house sitted three dogs for a week, enjoyed every minute with it. Sprinting in a field with a dog is one of the most freeing experiences everyone needs to live. I am currently unemployed trying to find work before a trip in early July, Able to help anytime during the week, nite, etc. I have a very flexible schedule I can adjust so I’m able to spend lots of time with your pet. I mainly go to the gym, and go out with friends at nighttime. I’ll show your dog around 9th and 9th. Open to driving anywhere. Would love to take your dog on a hike! Will take your dog paddleboarding, the dog park, stores.
