About: Please only huskies, shepherds or big furry friends. I’m active, which fits these guys’ lifestyle. They get into trouble if they do not get enough physical and mental exercise. I do not yank their necks, I let them sniff and yonder, I will take them for walks, bike rides, or into the mountains. My best friend passed away almost 3 years ago. He will never be replaced, but I’m willing to watch other fur animals.ig ........ I’m running my own business, so when I work is up to me. Gym and walking/getting out are a form of my therapy and help me think. I do not crate dogs. I give them enough attention and exercise so they aren’t menaces and do bad things. Tall fenced in backyard.

About: Hi! I’m Riley, a senior at the University of Utah with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve worked in pet care for a few years and cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’m active, responsible, and dedicated to your pet, whether that means long walks, playtime, or sticking closely to your pet’s routine. I’m also comfortable handling feeding schedules, medications, and high-energy dogs. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you feel confident your pet is in good hands! I'm currently finishing up school at the Univerity of Utah, and the rest of my time will be dedicated to spending time with your pets! I am extremely felxible and will be able to accomodate just about anything you and your pets might need. At my current residence I am unfortunately unable to host any additional pets in my home, but I am more than willing to stay in your home to look after your pets or pick-up/meet just about anywhere for walks or playtime!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for the last 10 years before getting my own pup! I love all animals, and after using Rover myself, I know how important it is to find a great caretaker who will set your mind at ease and take great care of your fur baby. I am very responsive and flexible with my schedule, and will always keep you informed. I have experience with reactive dogs, administering medication, and handling multiple animals at once. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds and will give them the love and care they deserve as if they were my own. I have my own dog, so I am fully aware of how much time needs to be committed to their care, and will be very detail oriented with your pet! I will gladly accommodate specific walking routes, favorite toys or play times, or any special foods to treat or avoid. I have a fenced yard and am very conscious of dog interactions since my dog has some reactivity. I am always mindful of other dogs or animals on walks to make sure my dog is safe and I can redirect his attention or avoid confrontation with off leash dogs, and will show the same attentiveness with yours! For any boarding/doggy day care requests, I require that your pup be crate trained for at least 1 hour at a time comfortably.

About: My family has had cats and dogs my whole life! My dad is a natural Disney princess with animals, and while I don't have his insane levels of magnetism it's long been my life's goal to win over every animal I come across. As for the unwinnable (and wild...) ones, I've learned to love them from afar. Regardless of your pet's preferences I'll see to it that they're as happy as I can make them! I'm finishing up my degree at the U so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule, especially during the summer. I'm excited to make some new furry friends:) I'm currently off school and without a regular work schedule so my time is almost entirely mine to do with as I please. If you need a last minute visit there's a 90% chance I'll be available since I'm usually just bopping around the city. I'll of course follow any instructions you leave and I'm also pretty good at reading animals in the moment and figuring out what's needed. While caring for your pet I promise they'll be my highest priority!

About: I've taken care of all animals since before I was 10. I have cared for my family's cats and dogs, providing enriching walks and training sessions for over 20 years. Additionally, I have experience walking reactive and fearful dogs, as my own dog runs on the anxious side. I have also fostered both kittens and puppies for local shelters and volunteered as a trained dog walker at the humane society. I truly love our furry companions. I'm currently working part-time and have plenty of time to play with your pups! I exercise very good time management and will stick to the routine that works best for you. I like to explore the dog-friendly trails and parks here in Salt Lake with my dog. We run every day together because he is a bit high-energy.

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I would walk. Growing up on a farm I had the opportunity to take care and provide for all kinds of animals from horses, cows, chickens to cats and dogs! I’m currently working on getting my veterinary technician degree from Purdue University and work part time in a vet clinic. I currently work part time M/W/F for a couple hours in the morning at a vet clinic so I would have all the time to look after your pets any day of the week. Whatever care and attention your pet needs I can provide it. Working part time at vet clinic has also given me skills to better take care and look after your pets.

About: The friend who is always watching friends’ dogs and getting them puppachinos (unless you don’t want them to have one, of course). I’m not ready for my own yet, but will often wake up on a Saturday morning thinking, “Wow, I wish I could walk a dog right now.” And maybe it’s your pup that needs a walk. (I have had dogs my whole life, usually 2 - 3 at a time. I nannied for years and watched small - medium dogs during that time. I’ll watch most sizes except the biggest ones, and I’m a great walker.) I work full time from 10-5 but can sometimes bring pups to work, only boarding on weekends but do walks before after and during work for lunch breaks! I have a fenced yard, so we’re good there! They will be loved and cared for, carefully watched, and get to hang with me on the couch.

About: I have always grown up with dogs and I cannot imagine my day to day without them. When I graduated college I adopted my first pup Chloe and did the training myself. It was so incredibly rewarding and she is now 6 and we still enjoy camping, exploring and hiking together. A bit over a year ago I rescued Finn and did his training at home as well. Together we are a super active household with two working dogs and a lifestyle geared towards the outdoors. I currently work fully remote and spend most of my time with my dogs outside. I am able to take multiple walks a day and am able to be super flexible with my schedule. My dogs personally are crate trained for when I am out of the house. When I am home they free range the living areas and have multiple beds and toys. They get water 24/7 and dry food twice a day. I am incredibly flexible to incorporate any needs or other requirements while watching another's pet.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have taken care of pets for friends, family, and neighbors for years. I’m very active, so I enjoy walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged and happy. I’m reliable, detail oriented, and make sure pets are fed, safe, and comfortable. I’m also patient with different personalities, whether it’s energetic puppies or older dogs that need extra care. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to fit pet care into my daily routine easily. I’m available for walks, drop ins, and sitting most afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I stay active, so I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would be at home. I have a fully fenced in yard, I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I’m very attentive on walks and in the home, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention while staying in a clean, secure environment. I also keep owners updated so they feel confident their pet is in good hands.

About: I’m happy to walk your dogs but I love taking them out in nature most of all. Was the proud owner of a 10 pound adventure Chihuahua who loved to hike, bike, and kayak with me. I’ve done dog sitting stints as long as three weeks and can provide good references. I love nothing more than to deliver a contently exhausted dog at the end of our time together! I currently have a Great Dane/Mastiff mix but she would not be with me when caring for your pet. My partner cares for her if I have clients. I am available full-time currently, and have the ability to work remotely for prolonged stays with your four-legged best friend. I do like advance notice but am flexible. I will care for your furry friend like their part of my fam! I will also respect your space and leave it better than I found it.

About: I have always had a special affinity towards dogs! My mom adopted a German shepherd puppy the week I was born and since then I have lived with dogs my whole life! My family currently has a German short haired pointer that I helped raise and call my brother! I work a neuroscience PhD, and although it’s hard work, it allows for a very flexible schedule! I live right by campus, so going from work back to home for a pup is super easy! I have most weekends and afternoons free. I always treat a dog I haven’t met with as much care as my own! However, I always approach new dogs with caution and a keen eye for signs of trouble or causes for concern. I understand the value of quickly establishing boundaries and a hierarchy between myself and a dog. It’s okay to give a pup a firm “no” when they need it (maybe followed by a good butt scratch or two)

About: I have had 20 dogs all at once before and have handled every single situation possible and know how to clean and sanitize very well. I walk my moms dogs daily and try to visit the pet shelter to keep the dogs and cats company I have always wanted my own dogs for when I’m older and look forward to it. I care for pets anyway and every way possible if the owner has special requests that is a no problem and I do basic things like walks, playing, tracing…
