I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. About: I have been passionate about pets my whole life. I am often asked by friends and family to dog sit and take care of their pets when they are away. I treat the dogs I sit like my own and give them the care I would to my own dogs. My dogs are used to having new pet friends when I do dog sit and get along well with them. I am experienced with pets that have special needs, and I am happy to care for fur-babies of all ages and needs. You will have peace of mind that your pet is cared for and loved. I work 4 10 hours days so I will be available on the whole weekend to care for pets. I often spend time walking my dogs and playing with them at the park. This was the very first time we had ever left Izzy with someone we didn’t know, so we were naturally a little nervous. Holly was patient and understanding with Izzy, especially when she was hesitant to leave on the group walk because she was looking for us where we had dropped her off. Holly took her on a walk with about five other dogs, and Izzy did well! It was reassuring to hear that she settled in and handled the experience so nicely. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex in Sugarhouse where we have lots of areas for walks and outdoor fun. Trusting someone with your pet or in your home is never easy, but I would absolutely treat them as my own pets and keep them happy and safe. My work schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off so my availability will only be my days off when I can take care of your pet full time. Animals in my house or care are treated with utmost love. I have the time and availability now for round the clock care so happy to host them at my house or spend time at yours.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 18 years old. I paid my way through college dog sitting for friends and family and referrals from friends and family. I now have my own family and my own fur babies. I have fostered puppies and taken in rescue dogs. We have three dogs right now - a Bernadoodle (3 yrs old), Golden Retriever (3 years old) and a Cavalier King Charles (9 months). Our dogs love to play. Our daughter (13) hopes to be a vet one day and absolutely LOVES any and all dogs. We have an 8 year old son that loves to snuggle and play with the dogs. Between my husband and I, one of us is almost always home. We have a large fenced yard and a doggy door. We are happy to crate your dogs if preferred, or allow them to snuggle and sleep around the house with our dogs. I work full time but often from home. My husband works from home full time. Between both of us, one of us is home most of the day/evenings. We have a large fenced backyard and a doggy door for dogs to go in and out as needed. We have a dog pool in the summer months if needed (we just fill it when requested or for our dogs). The dogs are welcome in most of the house. We are happy to crate dogs if preferred. We also can provide part of the house if your dog would prefer some quiet time. One of our dogs loves to hang out under our bed when she is done being social. We do only want to take dogs that are social and happy around other dogs so your pet isn't overwhelmed. We have taken up to two additional dogs but only if they already know each other.
About: I have always grown up with dogs and I cannot imagine my day to day without them. When I graduated college I adopted my first pup Chloe and did the training myself. It was so incredibly rewarding and she is now 6 and we still enjoy camping, exploring and hiking together. A bit over a year ago I rescued Finn and did his training at home as well. Together we are a super active household with two working dogs and a lifestyle geared towards the outdoors. I currently work fully remote and spend most of my time with my dogs outside. I am able to take multiple walks a day and am able to be super flexible with my schedule. My dogs personally are crate trained for when I am out of the house. When I am home they free range the living areas and have multiple beds and toys. They get water 24/7 and dry food twice a day. I am incredibly flexible to incorporate any needs or other requirements while watching another's pet.

About: I am a junior at Utah State University majoring in Veterinary Science, and am living at home for the summer while doing an Animal Care Internship at the Humane Society of Utah. Growing up, I had my own pet care business where I would walk neighbors dogs and watch them while their owners were away. About: Been around animals all my life. Love them with all my heart. Just can’t afford my own. With working nights I find myself in a position where I can spend my mornings taking dogs out for walks. About: The summer between 3rd and 4th grade I knocked on the doors of everyone in the neighborhood asking if I could walk their dogs for $2 a walk. Only 2 houses said yes initially but by the end of the summer I was walking more than half the neighborhood’s dogs. I have always had cats, from recluses to cuddle bugs, I do not discriminate. I currently work remotely for an East Coast company and my typical day looks like waking up at 5:00am, hiking with my hound mix, Tanner. Then I am in front of the computer from 6:30-12:30, and then my days are free onwards. Typically, Tanner and I will then either go on another hike, a swim or head to a dog park to sniff and play. Tanner loves all dogs, and we’d love to bring companions with us on some of our adventures. Tanner also gets lots of love and walks at home, and is perfectly okay staying home with his dad and cat brother if your pup likes one on one time. At my home, I have a fenced in yard, a sweet pup and a big ole sweetie cat. We have a guest room and plenty of space for a crate if privacy and a secure place is important for your pups comfort ability. My family currently has a German short haired pointer that I helped raise and call my brother! I work a neuroscience PhD, and although it’s hard work, it allows for a very flexible schedule! I live right by campus, so going from work back to home for a pup is super easy! I have most weekends and afternoons free. I always treat a dog I haven’t met with as much care as my own! About: I have experience with small puppies (2 months old) and older dogs, and I am super comfortable with big dogs, but I also love smaller dogs! I currently am a full-time student, so pet care is ideal for me as I have plenty of time to spend with the dog(s), but can also still get my assignments done! I am comfortable leashing dogs and walking them in safe areas, I have experience with reactive and anxious dogs, and am more than willing to do whatever eases the owner’s mind!

My girl is a bit overreactive with strangers and Grecia immediately assessed this and knew how to handle the situation effectively calming my dog and building up her initial trust. I explained that she also has some reactivity issues with new dogs until she warms up to them which she noted and apparently worked on because she was able to get my dog to walk along with hers. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. I very much appreciate her ability to work with me and the awesome experience she gave. Thank you!”
