We understand how important consistency is for pets, and we’ll do our best to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. We love in a small, clean, pet-friendly apartment in a quiet neighborhood. While we don’t have a yard, we live less than 5 minutes from Sugar House Park, where we take our own dog every day for long walks, exercise, and plenty of time to explore. Any dog staying with us will enjoy regular walks, outdoor time, and lots of attention. We believe that supervised walks and enrichment are a great way to keep dogs happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated, and we’ll make sure your pup gets the exercise and care they need while they’re with us.

About: Dogs have always been a part of me growing up. I've always had at least two dogs from small dogs to big dogs. Now, I just have Klaus, my 8yo Schnauzer. He enjoys company from small ones to doberman sized dogs. I do have work Mondays to Fridays but am able to go home at lunch if needed. I also get every other Fridays off. I always walk Klaus regardless of the weather and will treat your dogs like they are mine - always with love and special care. I can also administer medicine if needed. About: I have 2 active Australian shepherds that I care for. They go to the park twice a day! Both are very hyper so I always make sure to give them multiple walks as well as park time. I feed my dogs on a set schedule around 5-6pm with one large meal as well as a lighter meal in the morning. My dogs are always up to date with checkups and shots! I don’t play favorites and will divvy up play time equally. I owned multiple cats growing up as a kid as well as a Jack Russell Terrier during high school. I also have experience caring for exotic pets, such as rabbits/bunnies and have owned 2 previously. I work from home full time so I am able to care for multiple pets. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to walk my dogs multiple times per day and usually 2 long walks at the dog park. I wake up around 6am to walk them then work between 9-5pm. In between those hours I take my dogs out for a walk or two as well as entertain them on my breaks. We have plenty of dog toys available for them to entertain themselves. I allow my dogs to free roam the house because they’ve earned that privilege but crate time every now and then is also utilized. I also run a lot with my dogs, so if your dog enjoys runs I am happy to do that as well. I keep my dogs upstairs with me while I work or sometimes leave them downstairs where they nap on the couch and relax. I like to give my dogs dedicated decompression time in their crates after play time or during dinner. I have a fully fenced yard will plenty of space for your pets to roam. About: I love the dogs more then anything!! Taking my dog for a walk is one of my favorite things to do and I’m hoping to assist others that aren’t able to walk their dogs as much as they would like. I am super active and I love to go to the park. I live right across the street from sugarhouse park which is the perfect place to take dogs! I often watch my in-laws dogs and they get the royal treatment and don’t want to leave here! I can’t wait to meet some new pups! I currently only work three days a week so I have a lot of extra time on my hands and I also love to stay active. I’m always at the park with my dog or taking it on walks or playing with him. I am available to walk dogs Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday all day or Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in the mornings! I also have a dog stroller for older dogs that still want to have some fun and get out but can’t quite keep up! I am super cautious with dogs and keeping them safe and on leash at all times. I’ve learned some great training techniques as well with dogs. I always like to make them feel comfortable. I have a yorkie which is a high anxiety dog so I know how to deal with that very well. He also has pancreatitis so I know how important staying on a healthy diet is for all dogs! We also live right next to a park which is amazing for morning walks and a dog park that is great for those social dogs!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up with three large dogs, so being around them has always been second nature to me. I now have a 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog of my own who I’ve raised since he was 8 weeks old. I trained him myself and he’s extremely friendly, well behaved, and great with other dogs. I regularly watch dogs for friends and family and genuinely love doing it, which is what made me decide to join Rover! I also know firsthand how important it is to have someone you trust watching your dog. We travel pretty frequently ourselves, so I completely understand wanting to know your dog is safe, happy, and being well cared for while you’re away. We’re a pretty active household and my dog gets out every day. We frequent Tanner Park, go on hikes, take walks around the neighborhood, and have a school right behind our house with a great open area for running around and playing. I’m happy to match your dog’s normal routine and energy level. My girlfriend and I live together in the Millcreek/South Salt Lake area. I work from home Mondays and Fridays, and my girlfriend works in the field as a hospice liaison, so she’s frequently in and out throughout the day. Tuesday through Thursday I commute to Lehi and am typically gone from about 7:30–4. Weekends are generally open and my availability will always be kept up to date on Rover. We already plan our days around our own dog. He runs our life, so walks, outside time, feeding and plenty of attention are part of our normal routine! We have a fenced-in yard with plenty of backyard space and I’m also able to crate your dog if that’s part of their normal routine. I frequently watch friends’ dogs and am very comfortable following whatever feeding, walking, medication, or crate routine you have at home. One thing I do want owners to be aware of is that our retractable driveway fence has a gap along the bottom. My 100 lb Bernese and dogs around 40 lbs that I regularly watch have never had an issue, but a very small dog or determined escape artist may not be a good fit since we live on a busy street. Your dog’s safety comes first, so I’d rather be upfront about that. Otherwise, this definitely isn’t my first rodeo. I’m used to having multiple dogs around, introducing dogs to each other, keeping an eye on everyone, and making sure they’re comfortable and well taken care of. I’d also love to have you bring your dog over for a quick meet and greet before their stay. It gives them a chance to meet Oshie (Bernese, 7) and make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. It also gives you a chance to see our home and yard, meet us, ask any questions, and feel good about where your dog will be staying.
