“Heather was simply the best. She came through in a scheduling pinch and was so patient with my more difficult cat. I always hate leaving my fur babies but having Heather visiting with them put my mind at ease. I highly recommend her as a sitter.”

About: I have always had at least one cat my whole life and since I was 10 years old, one (to several) dogs. Spending time with my dogs and husband is my favorite activity. I also have experience with guinea pigs, hamsters, and turtles. I work a full-time job from home and I am able to make my own schedule, I just need some heads up to accommodate a schedule change. I love my full time job, however, it is a desk job and I am really looking to get out more and would love to enjoy some walks with your dog! I am happy to do a meet and greet so that both you and your pup can feel comfortable with me and I know all of the important details to keep them safe and happy.

“I'd 100% book Angelica again! She did a great job looking after my bunnies, and went above and beyond with tidying up after a week of visits. She was on top of communication at all times. Yay Angelica!”

“It was our first time leaving, Daphne, our cat alone for a weekend and we were apprehensive in leaving her with a sitter. Patricia took the time to come to our house and meet Daphne. When it came time to leave for our trip Patricia made sure to send us a whole bunch of pictures of her and Daphne playing and having a good time. Patricia made our first experience using Rover effortless and made us feel comfortable while we enjoyed our weekend. We will be sure to check if Patricia is available next time we book a trip.”
“Sarah is wonderful! Very flexible to schedule and meet up with, asked all the right questions, and we felt great about leaving our cats in her care. Despite one of our kitties being rude and territorial to her on the second drop-in visit, Sarah still made sure they had everything they needed, and called us to make sure everything was alright before leaving. Sorry that Gypsy was a big brat, but otherwise, thank you Sarah for your thoughtful care and being there for our cats!”

About: From blue tick coonhounds to chiweenies, I know my way around walking dogs! During my volunteering at an animal shelter, I learned proper walking and handling methods, so every walk is set to be safe and happy! I work part-time, often with multiple full days off that can be dedicated to keeping your pets safe, healthy, and happy! I’m also comfortable with taking care of pets before or after my shifts :) While I currently do not offer boarding, I am more than happy to visit wherever your pet calls home and give them comfortability and familiarity.
“This was our first time working with Raquel, and it went very well. She stopped by to spend an hour with our two dogs, Tate and Penny, well also feeding them and giving them lots of love. Raquel was very good communicator, was on time, and provided photographs of her time with our dogs. We are really excited that we found Raquel and look forward to having her spend more time with our dogs, Tate and Penny in the future. If anyone’s looking for a five star Pet Sitter on Rover Raquel‘s your gal!”

“Barbara did great with our crazy pup! It was such a relief to have someone be able to let our dog out and spend time with him while we weren’t home. Very respectful of our home and communication was great. We all very much appreciated her services, especially Hooper haha. Gave us such peace of mind knowing he got to run around outside a bit.”

“Olga was the best!! We’re so grateful that she was so sweet to our dog (that was a little scared and nervous on the first visit). She went above and beyond to make sure we could enjoy our trip away. She was Always on time, had great communication and loved getting the pictures. Thank you, Olga!”
“Super communicative and very sweet to talk with!! Updated daily with pictures and made effort to engage with both of my cats! My cats seemed comfortable with her and I will definitely utilize her again.”

“Mike is really awesome! He took great care of our cats, even the one who is afraid of people, and he also fed our fish! We loved all the pictures and video he sent us while we were away. We will definitely look for Mike next time we need someone to check on our kitties”

“Tamikia did a fantastic job taking care of our cat while we were away. She came at the scheduled time and did all that was asked of her and more. She made us feel very comfortable leaving our cat in her care. We enjoyed receiving the daily updates and photos while we were away. We would definitely hire her again!”

“Briana is absolutely wonderful! She took exceptional care of our dog Finn while we were out of town, even coming twice in one day to make sure he had everything he needed. What impressed us most was how thorough and communicative she was throughout our trip. The pictures she sent were fantastic - you could see the genuine love and attention she gives to every dog in her care. Finn was clearly happy and well-loved! Briana is a true giver of love to our furry family members. We couldn't have asked for better care and peace of mind while we were away. Highly, highly recommend Briana to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!”

“Evenly took great care of my two cats. She provided detailed daily updates and spoke about my cats like they were her own. I felt very comforted knowing the cats were in Evelyn’s hands while I was gone and I would not hesitate to book her again.”
About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.
“Elizabeth was a life saver when our plans for drop ins changed last minute. I know my pups were in excellent hands. She took time during out house visit to get to knew our girls and their quirks/ needs.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Drexel Hill
Leaving my boy and my girl isn’t easy but knowing that Heather is taking care of them made it less stressful because she does such a great job and I know they are in good hands. Easy communication and thorough updates as well as handling my grumpy guy with ease. Highly recommend Heather if you need someone to care for your fur babies.

Kristin provided great care for our cat while we were on vacation. She sent detailed updates and daily photos. Besides feeding and cleaning his litter, Kristin showed him great affection which was very comforting. I would not hesitate to have her care for our cat again in the future.

Briana watched our two cats while away on a special trip for nearly 15 nights. Briana not only checked in on them twice every day consistently, but played with them, took pics, brought in the mail and any packages, and helped with any little messes that happened from our cats and communicated anything necessary. She went above and beyond without us asking and we are grateful for that! Thank you Brianna!

My husband had always make the arrangements with Ryder so I was a little apprehensive taking care of it myself. But couldn’t have been easier. Melissa was great. All of her reports were fun to read. Thanks Melissa and Rover. Little Girl was well taken care of while I was away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Drexel Hill. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
