As a dog parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and loving. I will care for your pet as if they were my own, providing walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and plenty of affection while following their normal routine. I currently work part-time from home, which gives me flexibility and plenty of time to care for your pet. I am available on weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-in visits, companionship, and other pet-care needs. I will do my best to accommodate your pet’s regular schedule and routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priorities. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions provided by each pet parent. About: I love playing with and walking dogs. I am also a cat lover. No matter the pet, I like to get to know them, what makes them unique and how I can win their affection. I have been watching friends and family’s pets for the past 7 years and grew up taking care of a dog and a few cats. I have experience with younger and senior dogs, senior kitties and being around kittens basically 24/7. I’ve administered medication to foster kittens and have fed a very picky senior cat. I would be honored to help keep your pets happy and healthy and would do whatever I can to make them feel loved and cared for. I am happy to visit for feeding, walks or playtime during your busy work day. Friday-Monday require a couple days planning in advance. I’m currently looking for a full time job, so I’m very flexible. About: Hello! I’m Keagan and I’d love to take care of your baby! I absolutely love any and all animals. I raised my yellow lab puppy at 14, and my orange crazy cat at 15. I’ve always been around animals, have raised multiple cats and dogs, and love each animal for who they are. Each fur baby is different and deserves to have that understood and respected. I’ve taken care of the sweetest pittie from 9 months to 3 years, an 11 year old boxer, a 9 year old German pointer, and raised my own dachshund mix. And I’ve babysat 4 cats at once! Multiple people have had me watch their animals while they were away, including staying at their house in the process. I like to bring my own treats, so please let me know any favorite brands or dietary restrictions. I would like to meet your furry one before I take care of them so we can become familiar with one another, and to see if we click. Some animals don’t like some people, and that’s ok! I just wouldn’t like to cause your animal stress by taking care of them if they’re not a fan of me for any reason. I’ve RARELY had this happen with any animal, but it does happen to everyone at least once in life. I hope you let me love on your animal as much as I love on mine! I’m currently focusing on being a pet sitter full-time. My priority would be taking care of your animal whenever you need, whether it’s walking your dog or checking on your cat. I would not be able to take care of pets in my home unfortunately. But, I’ll make sure your pet’s needs come first when caring for them in yours. I regularly check food and water first, make sure to follow any instructions, and stay to socialize with them. Even cats! I can absolutely sit in your living room or kitchen for a while to keep your animal company. Sometimes they just need a little more time! I have my phone and plenty of books to keep me entertained if they just want to hang out or, even better, snuggle.

I’m comfortable with young puppies to seniors, nervous/shy cats, those who need medication and anyone in between ☺️ I’m located right in the heart of the Mission District and work in Noe Vallley, so anywhere in those two areas are easy for me to access. I also have a car and can access further if need be! As someone who has seen plenty of emergency cases in my profession, I’m very specially aware within people’s homes of what may be considered safe or unsafe for your baby. I have a comfortable home with a fully fenced yard where dogs have room to play, explore, enjoy supervised outdoor time, or simply relax. I take a calm, patient, and structured approach to caring for dogs. I believe dogs thrive with a healthy balance of affection, freedom, exercise, positive reinforcement, and clear rules and boundaries. Structure should help a dog feel secure and understand what is expected of them without taking away their opportunity to be a dog. Understanding canine behavior and body language is especially important to me. I pay attention to the smaller signals dogs use to communicate whether they are excited, uncertain, overstimulated, uncomfortable, ready to play, or simply in need of some quiet time. Every dog has its own personality, history, routine, and comfort level, and I believe good care starts with respecting those differences. Charlie Girl is a happy, social dog who genuinely enjoys connecting and playing with other dogs. Even so, I never assume that two dogs will immediately be comfortable together. Introductions and interactions are handled thoughtfully and supervised, with each dog's behavior and comfort level determining how quickly they progress. I also make it a priority to follow the routines and expectations established by each dog's family, including feeding schedules, sleeping arrangements, walking routines, training cues, boundaries, and other care instructions. Consistency can make being away from home much easier for a dog. Most importantly, I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's dog seriously. These animals are members of their families, just as the dogs throughout my life have been members of mine. I want owners to leave knowing their dog is being watched closely, treated with patience and respect, given meaningful attention and enrichment, and welcomed into a home where their safety and well being come first. Regular photos, videos, and checkins are part of that commitment so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing.
