I have worked in pet care for the last 9 years, and for 3 years prior worked and volunteered in multiple municipal animal shelters. I specialize in animals who tend to need extra care, whether that be ones I'll need to work harder to gain their trust or the super clingy ones! I create an adaptive schedule curated to your furry friends needs during overnight stays so there won't be any major changes while they are in my care. Rest assured that all your wants will be met too! I also do minor home care during long stays so you'll be able to come home and relax. *My dog isn’t involved during the care of any clients.

Safety, trust & environment
All outdoor time & playtime is supervised! For drop ins booked while owner is away: I require a minimum of daily drop ins for cats/other small pets, and twice daily minimum for dogs. This includes animals with timed feeders, water fountains, & 24/7 access to a yard, and is to ensure any safety or medical emergency can be handled promptly. I welcome all pet owners to have cameras for common areas in & around your home. So you can check on them at any time while I may be away too!

We were very comfortable leaving our cats in Kaitlyn's care. She updated us each time she came to see them with pictures and a little story about how everything went. Both cats were happy and healthy when we returned. We will definitely use Kaitlyn again when we need a pet sitter!

Schedule
I do have other clients who I may have to walk or do drop ins for during a house sitting, and kiddos to take to sports, but I never leave for longer than 6 hours (including travel time!) As of right now, I cannot regularly accommodate dogs who can’t be alone for 5+ hours.

- I would love to know everything about your dog! Tell me what they hate, love, want, need. Do they prefer squeaky toys? What is their play style? What is their normal personality like? Please tell me if they are on a special diet, allergic to anything (food or otherwise), and any health problems or concerns. I want to know just as much as you do so I can ensure proper care. +I do NOT discriminate based on breed! I would also like to know your expectations to ensure a wonderful experience for all. How many updates/pictures? Any plants that need to be watered? Etc.
