About: From ages 14 to 19, I had a female Yorkshire Terrier (2-7 years old) and was regularly responsible for walking, playtime, supervision, and companionship. This gave me a strong understanding of leash handling, routine, and small-dog behavior. In addition, I've pet sat younger dogs, including a toy poodle while I had her. I'm comfortable with age appropriate care such as frequent potty breaks, supervised play, and managing curious or high energy behavior in young dogs. I take safety and communication seriously and always follow pet parents' instructions closely. Furthermore, I only accept bookings that match my experience and my mission is to ensure that your dog feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I am available from Sunday to Saturday, 11 am-9 pm. Home all day. Aside from college assignments, I have tons of free time to care for dogs. For dog walks, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and harnesses as instructed, selecting suitable routes, and adjusting the pace and distance to the dog’s age, size, and energy level. I have experience walking small-breed dogs and understand the importance of gentle handling and being aware of my surroundings.

About: I’ve had all sorts of animals growing up, and have cared for many pets of all ages. Specifically, we’ve had dogs since they were puppies until they passed at ages 13*. As well as cats that we got when they were kittens. I am very receptive to your needs and the needs of the pet. I will care for your pet like they were one of my precious babies! I work a steady 7:30am-4:30pm job at a clinic in Dover. My lunch is very flexible, and I have flexibility after work as well to care for your babies! It all depends on your needs and the needs of the pet I am caring for! I have house sat for different dogs and cats of all ages. Some were more energetic than others, which affected my care. I would be more than happy to walk, play, or snuggle your animal to give them the love and entertainment they need!

About: I've had my own dogs and a cat my whole life. Additionally I got my first horse at 12 and have been around large and unique animals forever (even pet deer and alpacas!) From my baby Miniature Pinscher to my Great Dane I am capable of providing individualized care. I am currently a student athlete at DSU. I ride on the equestrian team so after my one in person class I am typically in and out of the barn with lots of time to spare as everything else I do for school is online. Pet care fits into my routine as a priority. I recently moved to Dover for school, and miss my dog terribly. Prioritizing your dogs in my schedule is not just a job for me, but a source of happiness! We have a large backyard for fetch and a safe neighborhood for walks and adventures! One block over we have a small park area as well. We have no other animals in the house, just four college girls who are all missing our companions from home. In the house your dog can roam freely about and sleep in my room/bed with me, whatever they are comfortable with.

About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

About: Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. I’m also experienced in caring for diabetic cats and administering insulin, as I’ve helped two of my rescues go into remission. I strive to provide the best care possible for pets, and peace of mind for their owners! Please be aware that starting August 25th, I will be at work from 7:35 am-3:05 pm. I’m currently a full time as a high school teacher, so from 7:35-3:05 on week days, I’m usually at work. If I am pet sitting during the week, I head straight to the pets at the end of the work day. On weekends, I am able to dedicate most, if not all, of the day to spending time with your pets. This is also the case over the summer. I provide pet care in client’s homes, per the directions provided by the clients. Prior to caring for your pet(s), I ask that we arrange a time for me to meet your pet(s) and go over all pertinent information regarding their care and safety.

I spent 4.5 years working as a Veterinary Assistant, later became a Zookeeper, and graduated from the University of South Florida with my Bachelor’s in Integrative Animal Biology. I’ve worked with everything from tiny bottle babies to 150 lb senior dogs, and I love giving each pet the gentle, individualized care they need. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom to a sweet baby, two cats, and a small senior dog, so I have a very flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. Occasionally, I may need to bring my baby with me, so I do ask that your pets are kid-friendly. (She will remain in her car seat/stroller for visits, and she is too young to interact with any animals). I’m experienced in medication administration (oral and injectable), SQ fluids, and basic grooming tasks. I also offer nail trims, baths, and anal gland expression as simple add-on services. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always come first, and you’ll get clear updates, photos, and communication every step of the way. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m a stay-at-home mom with a very flexible schedule. I’m home most days, so I’m able to plan walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting visits around my day. About: We have a large fenced in yard for your dog to run around and play. Our home is on a caldesac so we don't have a lot of traffic. We have plenty of places to walk your dog. I am a school teacher and my husband works from home so someone is home during the day to care for your dog. After school we have children who are excited to walk and play with your dog. Our children are 9, 12 and 13. They are great with dogs. We have owned family dogs in the past and we will care for your dog like he or she is our own. We would like you to bring any toys or comforts from home so your dog feels comfortable. We'd also be happy to provide pictures or video of your dogs stay.
