“Stacey has been watching Judy for the past year on a weekly basis- she is the best! Judy loves her and she leaves great pictures, comments, and communicate very well with me. We will miss her when we move and recommend her for any pet needs!”
“Liz took great care of Cooper while I was away for a short trip. She did several drop in visits each day, kept me updated, and made the whole experience very easy. Cooper also needed medication, and she gave it without any issues. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands, and I’d definitely book with her again.”

About: I was raised around dogs since childhood, and have always been involved with animal rescue since I had my own place. We have dogs and cats of our own, and they enjoy having fluffy friends to play with as much as we do! I’m currently available during the day full time, and only work part-time at night. So there’s a lot of availability for either dog walks, emergency boarding needs, or doggy daycare options. We have a fenced in yard out back, and crate-and-rotate when needed. I am experienced in handling all behaviors of dogs, from the fearful/shy to the escape artist.
“Kaitlyn was amazing with our golden retriever, Cooper! He’s 9 years old with some new health issues and meds that can be tricky to give, but she was so patient and gentle with him. We could tell she really cared, kept us updated, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. Highly recommend Kaitlyn!”

About: Hi everyone! I spent 10 wonderful years dog sitting in Myrtle Beach, SC for friends, family, and through Rover. I live in Delaware now with my boyfriend and our fur child, Willow :). I work from home during summer and winter months, and I am available for dog walking or hosting your dog in our home (as long as they get along with other dogs). If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out. I look forward to meeting you! I work from home during summer and winter months. I am home all day so my schedule is very flexible to care for your pet. Now that I have a dog of my own, I do not care for pets in clients' homes. But, caring for your pet in my home will involve the same love and care that I give to my own, in addition to anything special that he or she needs.
About: Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. I’m also experienced in caring for diabetic cats and administering insulin, as I’ve helped two of my rescues go into remission. I strive to provide the best care possible for pets, and peace of mind for their owners! Please be aware that starting August 25th, I will be at work from 7:35 am-3:05 pm. I’m currently a full time as a high school teacher, so from 7:35-3:05 on week days, I’m usually at work. If I am pet sitting during the week, I head straight to the pets at the end of the work day. On weekends, I am able to dedicate most, if not all, of the day to spending time with your pets. This is also the case over the summer. I provide pet care in client’s homes, per the directions provided by the clients. Prior to caring for your pet(s), I ask that we arrange a time for me to meet your pet(s) and go over all pertinent information regarding their care and safety.
“Amber was wonderful with our dog. ShnikelFritz is a rescue and can be quite anxious when left alone. Amber was so good with her, she walked our dog twice,as requested, and sent us great pictures. I felt very comfortable that our dog was in capable loving hands and I would not hesitate to hire. Amber in the future.”

About: I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals (gerbils, tortoises, snakes and rats). I also have my own cat, Baba. I have experience with special needs animals, should your fur baby require any special care. My work schedule is stable and I know my schedule a month or two in advance. I am flexible with same day bookings and am willing to accommodate late visits. I will do my best to work with any situation. Just let me know if you have any special requests and it will get done!
About: As a long time user of Rover services for my own pets, I understand the importance of finding a sitter you trust! Thank you for considering me. I’ve been professionally caring for other peoples pets off and on for years. Totaling a little over 10 years. My experience ranges from traditional homes with cats and dogs, to small farms with chickens and goats, to the more exotic birds and ferrets. I always request a meet and greet with my clients before hand so they can introduce me to their pet and walk through their care. I want you to be happy and worry free! For walking or visits in your home, I am comfortable with a hidden key or if you use a smart lock to remotely unlock. I am also familiar with Ring and other security systems so if you’d prefer to give me a guest code I can disarm the system. My schedule does vary a lot week to week, and even seasonally. Best to just ask me how things are currently. Some of my most loyal clients are nurses and really appreciate my flexibility. I only offer drop in visits. I do not offer boarding, house sitting, or daycare. Flexible work schedule, but this is a second job for me. Advance notice is preferable so I can accommodate your schedule and mine as well. My visit cards are always very detailed. They include multiple photos of course, but they go beyond that to include stories of our adventure of the day - from chasing lizards, to playing fetch, or sometimes just snuggling during an afternoon storm. You’ll feel like you’re at home reading about their day.
About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a baby. When I got to middle school my friend asked to watch her dogs while her family was out of town and I agreed. While Covid was still around I would do virtual school and take care of our dogs while my parents worked. I am hoping to do this part time while I am home from college (Between Middle of May and Early August). I am available any time during the day. I can feed the dogs or medicine if needed, fill the water bowls, take them outside (a fenced yard is preferred please or trained), I am willing to walk dogs to get any energy out.

About: Hello, My name is Faith. I am a recent college graduate with double majors in animal science and animal ecology. I am a lifelong animal lover and have experience fostering puppies and living with/caring for family dogs and cats. I am also looking to become a veterinarian so I have lots of experience with care of animals, from rabbits to farm cats. I have 2 cats of my own that I love and appreciate as well as tons of experience with dogs. I am great at understanding animal body language and love big dogs. I am an athletic person who likes hiking and rock climbing so walking dogs is something I enjoy as well. I have plenty of time on my hands while working remotely and really like the joy I receive from caring for different animals with unique personalities. I hope to meet you and your furry friends soon! I work online so I can work anywhere with internet access, but I am available to work with your schedule. I have a lot of free time to care for furry friends. I care by feeding the pets and providing enrichment. I can do this by playing with the animal or giving them a puzzle. I like using puzzles with treats to get them more involved in play as well as using scratching pads with catnip for cats.
Woodcrest dog parents share their Rover experiences
Liz took great care of Cooper while I was away for a short trip. She did several drop in visits each day, kept me updated, and made the whole experience very easy. Cooper also needed medication, and she gave it without any issues. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands, and I’d definitely book with her again.

Obtaining the services of Stacey to walk my dog Mia was one of the best decisions I've made. Mia LOVES Stacey, and I love knowing that Mia is getting a level of exercise that I am unable to provide at this time. The photos of their time together is a fun bonus. I will definitely be using Stacey again and referring her to others.
