“Ms. Teresa is a Super Sweet Lady. My dog is about 7 years old and very dominant and loves to mark his territory. She handled him accordingly and with care. He stayed 3 nights and she updated me while I was away. I really love that she had a cage for him already so I didn’t have to pack his around. I would drop him off again.”

About: Since I was a baby there has always been a pet in the house. I currently own a dog and a cat and my parents still have two cats and 3 dogs. I work full time as a teacher in MD, but have availability every weekend / holidays and I am available after 5:30 during the week! I currently have a dog and cat living with me and they are free to roam where they pleases and I monitor their food and water, take my dog out every few hours, play with lots of toys, go on lots of walks, and give them lots of cuddles.

“Rackeem was awesome with my dogs while I was on vacation! He took excellent care of my fur babies and I highly recommend him! He provides daily updates and pictures so you can be assured your pets are safe and doing well while in his care. He's also a great trainer as well! He helped my very active 14 month old pup 🐶 stop pulling so much while on our walks.”

About: I’ve had animals all my life. From dogs to cats to exotics. My pathway in school was for animal science which I have my certification from that class. I also have worked at a vet before so I would say I definitely have some experience! Right now I mostly work from home so I’m pretty flexible. Whether that be for boarding or potty breaks I can pretty much make anything work. I have a section of my yard fenced off so they can just go out and potty but also love to take them for walks in my neighborhood! If they get along with other dogs great! If not I can manage to keep everyone separate if boarding is preferred at my house.
“Brooklyn was wonderful to my two dogs. I was in town for business and traveling with my dogs. She took great care of them, played with them all day and made them feel comfortable stopping for the weekend in Delaware. I was traveling from GA to CT and this allowed me to relax would use her again when I return to town.”

“I had to go to a conference. Elizabeth took excellent care of Shelby. She provided pictures and updates while I was gone. Elizabeth was also flexible with the pick up time when my flights were delayed, which caused me to get home much later than expected.”

“Kacci is amazing and my Peaches and Milo sure enjoyed their time spending the night. She answered me promptly when ever I wanted to check in myself. We my fuzzy ones came home they were so tuckered out they slept from when they got home till late that evening and not up for long! So excited that she is going to keep them for my son's graduation party so he guests don't get taken down. Heck doggy daycare is even sounding better! Thanks Kacci!!”
“Jeren was absolutely incredible! I had to make several changes within a few days before our booking and she was so quick to respond and accommodate. Jeren constantly kept us updated with pictures and videos of our baby throughout his visit. We are so grateful and will definitely be booking again!”

“So it was last minute; however, Lauren opened her door for me and took care of my Cayo! She was very caring and fun for Cayo. Cayo got along greatly with Lauren’s dogs and children. Cayo got plenty of playing time as well, which I’m thankful that I got many photos of! I highly recommend Lauren to provide care for your puppies as well, because I know I will be returning for her services!!! Thanks Lauren! ~ Matt & Cayo Hughes”

“Gina is wonderful! She sent us frequent videos and pictures to keep us posted and we knew our dog was having a good time there. Fifi was so well loved and taken care of during her second time away from us. Fifi definitely enjoyed her stay with Gina and her husband! We will keep using this service in the future.”

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine, and caring for them is more than just a job to me. With 12 years of pet care experience, I provide loving, dependable care and treat every pet as if they were my own. I enjoy spending time with animals, keeping them happy, comfortable, and safe while their owners are away. I currently own my own business, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, cuddles, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I’ll treat your pets like part of the family and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my priority. I’m a proud German Shepherd owner, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us! We have two acres where my dog gets plenty of room to run, play, and enjoy his daily zoomies. I’m very hands-on and love spending time outside playing, exercising, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. I’ll treat your pet like part of the family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while they’re in my care.
“We were incredibly happy with Lindsey watching our dog for a long weekend. I don’t even think he missed us a whole lot. She is very caring and it’s obvious she loves animals. We would definitely recommend her!”
About: For me, pet care has never been just a job—it's been a lifelong passion. I was raised in a family of professional trainers and boarders, where I learned from an early age how to properly care for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. We also spent countless hours working alongside local shelters, helping dogs build confidence and prepare for their forever homes. Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience working in boarding, training assistance, behavioral rehabilitation, and pet care. In 2012, I began my career as a professional dog groomer and later became certified to groom both dogs and cats. In 2020, I became certified to train new groomers as they worked toward their professional certifications. Today, I combine all of that experience to provide a calm, loving, and individualized experience for every pet in my care. My Specialties I specialize in creating fear-free, low-stress experiences built on patience, trust, and compassion. Some of my areas of expertise include: • Fear-free handling and grooming • Trauma rehabilitation grooming for pets who cannot safely visit traditional salons due to fear, anxiety, or behavioral concerns • Senior pet care • Puppy care and socialization • Pets with medical or mobility challenges • Basic training and reinforcement of good manners • Administering medications while carefully monitoring for symptoms or side effects One of my greatest passions is helping fearful dogs learn that grooming and handling don't have to be scary. Rather than forcing pets through services, I work at their pace, building trust over time with the goal of helping them become comfortable and confident again. Many of my clients come to me after being turned away from traditional grooming salons due to behavioral or medical concerns. What Your Pet Can Expect I strive to make every stay feel like a vacation with family rather than simply boarding. Your pet may enjoy: • Daily walks (typically 2-4 per day, while following your normal routine whenever possible) • Plenty of one-on-one attention and affection • Playtime, enrichment, and exercise • Trips to the dog park (with your permission and only if appropriate for your pet) • Picture, video, and message updates throughout their stay • A calm, loving home environment where they are treated like family One unique tradition many pets come to love is bedtime story time. It may sound unusual, but quietly reading aloud has helped many anxious dogs relax before bed. I've even seen it help dogs experiencing storm anxiety or fear of loud noises settle more comfortably. Routine is incredibly important to me. If your pet has a specific schedule, feeding routine, medication plan, or bedtime ritual, I'll do everything possible to maintain it while they're in my care. Because of my experience working with behavioral and medical cases, I also pay close attention to subtle changes in your pet's behavior, mobility, appetite, and overall well-being. If I notice anything concerning, I'll communicate with you immediately and act quickly in your pet's best interest. Communication & Grooming I believe communication is one of the most important parts of pet care. The more I know about your pet's personality, routines, preferences, and medical history, the better experience I can provide. In return, you'll receive detailed updates about how they're doing, including behavior, activities, and anything I notice that may be helpful for you to know. During boarding or daycare stays, I'm also happy to reinforce basic training and offer guidance on grooming maintenance, body language, and behavioral changes that may strengthen your bond with your pet at home. Professional grooming services are available for pets staying in my care. Grooming recommendations, pricing, and service completion depend on your pet's size, coat condition, medical needs, and stress level. My philosophy is simple: I will never force a pet through a service. Their comfort, trust, and emotional well-being always come first. Booking Information To help protect my home while still providing every pet with the highest level of care, the estimated price for boarding and daycare includes a refundable cleaning/security fee. This fee is fully refunded after your pet's stay provided there is no excessive damage or extraordinary cleaning required beyond normal pet messes. I believe this allows me to continue offering a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for every guest while being fair to both pet parents and my home. My goal is simple: every pet should leave my care feeling safe, loved, understood, and excited to come back. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years, but my love for them started long before that. I grew up with dogs and have always been around them, learning how to care for and understand their different personalities and needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m patient, dependable, and always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I work currently work part-time now and attend college part-time, giving me flexibility for pet care. I’m available weekdays and every other weekend, except Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I have a fully fenced yard and a sweet one-year-old purebred Cocker Spaniel who is calm, friendly, and loves safely playing with other dogs too. If you are not comfortable with your dog being around another dog, I am more than happy to do services in your own home!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodcrest
We had several plan changes leading up to Poe's stay due to weather. Tasha was completely flexible and super nice about it. She sent pics and updates during his stay and made us feel like he was being well cared for and possibly even a bit spoiled. 😉 We will absolutely be booking with Tasha in the future!

I had the pleasure of having Libby take care of my dog, Noor, while I was overseas for over two weeks, and I can confidently say that Libby is absolutely the best caregiver I could have asked for. She treated Noor like a member of her own family, always responsive, and incredibly attentive. She sent me regular updates and photos, ensuring that Noor was comfortable and happy. Libby went above and beyond, playing with him, feeding him, and keeping him clean. Having used other boarding services before, nothing even comes close to the quality of care that Libby provided. If you’re considering her services, don’t hesitate for a second—she’s truly exceptional. Libby is warm, sincere, and professional, and I’m beyond grateful for the peace of mind she gave me. Noor is like family to me, and Libby took care of him even better than I could have hoped. Thank you so much, Libby, for your outstanding care. You truly made a difference, and I’m endlessly appreciative.
