“Jenny was awesome! Accommodating, friendly, really nice young lady! Sent me regular updates and pics. My pups were in great hands and playing with Jenny's pups. Fantastic location, secluded, fenced, ample room. Highly recommend!”

“What can I say, Miss Candice loves what she does. And it shows, It’s like home away from for my fur baby who all but jumps out the car window when we pull up for his stay. Thank goodness my window was up. Total opposite when pull up to the groomer.”

About: We have been a dog family for the past 11.5 years! We love our dogs so much! We have an 11 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and a 2 year old Aussiedoodle. They are sweet and fun and love other dogs! We have 4 kiddos as well who love caring for the dogs including our 12 and 11 year old girls who love taking the dogs for walks! We are a homeschooling family so we are home most of the time and don't kennel our dogs at all while we are home! We have a huge fenced-in backyard that the dogs love to roam and run around in! Playing fetch in the back yard is a highlight in our home!
“It was a pleasure to have Charles and Heather. They were awesome and they kept us in the loop daily. Khloe was well taken care of. I would recommend them. Thank you all again.”

“Brooke was amazing and took wonderful care of Monet. She was great with communication and keeping us updated with how Monet was doing with her. Monet came home very happy! Thank you, Brooke!”

“I don't want to put up an awesome review because she'll get booked up and I won't be able to book her! Seriously, Emily is WONDERFUL! She was able to accommodate me at the very last minute. She has an excellent set up for visiting fur babies, is in constant contact and is just an overall wonderful fur babysitter. 5 stars isn't enough for her! Thank you Emily for coming to the rescue! ❤️”

“Rackeem was the best! From his knowledge and expertise in handling dogs to his professionalism and consistent photos/updates. Thank you so much for watching my baby for the weekend. I will definitely be booking with you again. Marley seemed to really love his stay and made a new friend!”
“Claudia did an amazing job looking after my puppy! I highly recommend her! This was the first time leaving my puppy with a pup sitter and I could not have asked for anyone better than Claudia to look after her. The daily updates through pictures and videos helped me feel at peace and also know that my puppy was in great hands and very well cared for. Thank you so much again, Claudia!”

About: Since I was a baby there has always been a pet in the house. I currently own a dog and a cat and my parents still have two cats and 3 dogs. I work full time as a teacher in MD, but have availability every weekend / holidays and I am available after 5:30 during the week! I currently have a dog and cat living with me and they are free to roam where they pleases and I monitor their food and water, take my dog out every few hours, play with lots of toys, go on lots of walks, and give them lots of cuddles.
About: I have lived with/ taken care of various animals for as long as i can remember. I have experience with just about every type of animal such as dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, pigs/ livestock, hedgehogs, and rabbits. I've always been an animal lover and I guarantee I'll be your furbaby's new best friend. I am willing to adapt to any environment and provide the best service for your pet specifically. I love all breeds and I work well with them whether we're playing, training, walking, or relaxing. I have been told by many that I am somewhat of an "animal whisperer." I have a calming energy around animals and I know how to let them get to know me on their own terms and in their own way. I have more than enough patience and love for any situation.

About: My name is Taryn and I have lived with animals all my life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, horses, fish, chickens, and small snakes. I have two young adult daughters that live at home and share the same passion as I do. I do have a 7yr old mix of my own that enjoys playing with others. If your dog happens to not be dog friendly, no worries; I provide in home dog care, drop in visits and dog walks! My home is clean, quiet, and pet proof. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for your best friend to run and play. We even have trails nearby where we can go on fun adventures! Pets will have free roam of the house so they don’t feel left out, after all they are apart of the family. Your pet(s) will never be alone or feel scared with me as their sitter. I work full time during the week. But I’m available weeknights for drop-ins, walks, and daycare. I’m available Fri-Sunday for the above as well as in home and in my home boarding. I have a large yard and a friendly dog for your pup to play with. If needed, I also have a crate. I don’t like crating my dog so prefer not to crate yours unless instructed by you for specific reasons. Of course they’ll be let out often to use the bathroom and have unlimited access to water. In your home, your pet will be let out when needed/scheduled if they have one, played with, and loved on. No matter where we are, my goal is to make your pet feel safe.

“We are new to the area and we’ve always had friends or family watch our pups. This was the first time we needed to use Rover. Nancy gave us a great first experience and I’m so glad we have someone we can trust to leave our pups with if we ever need to board again! She asked great questions to get to know our pups before us dropping them off and she kept us up to date everyday with plenty of pics and videos. Nancy was very responsive as well. We will certainly be reaching out to her for future needs. Thanks again Nancy!”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover with 15 years of experience caring for pets! 🐾❤️ My journey began as a foster parent with Boise Bully Breed in Boise, Idaho, where I discovered just how rewarding it is to give animals love, patience, and a safe place to land. Since then, caring for animals has remained a huge part of my life. I’m currently a proud dog mom to a bully breed and share my home with four cats, so I understand that pets aren’t just animals — they’re family! I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re away, and I want to give you peace of mind knowing they’re receiving plenty of love, attention, and care. 🐶 My services include: * In-home boarding: I welcome one dog at a time into my home so your pup can receive personalized attention and care. * Drop-in visits: I can stop by your home to check on your pets, provide meals, refresh water, offer playtime, and give them plenty of affection. * In-home pet sitting: I can care for your pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own home while you’re away. I believe every animal deserves to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether your pet needs a little extra patience, a playmate, a cozy place to stay, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll do my best to make their time away from you as stress-free as possible. Your pets are family, and I’ll treat them like they’re part of mine! 🐾💕 I pet sit and clean homes on the side, my full time “job” is taking care of my family and my pets. I’d love to take care of yours as well! When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel at home while their families are away. I have a partially fenced-in yard where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. For everyone’s safety, outdoor time is supervised, and I use a leash or other appropriate safety measures when needed. I offer in-home boarding for one dog at a time so each guest receives personalized attention, affection, and care. I can also accommodate crate-trained dogs or maintain a familiar crating routine when requested by their owners. I’m happy to follow your pet’s established schedule for meals, walks, playtime, rest, and any special needs. As a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner, I understand how important it is to maintain familiar routines and help pets feel secure in a new environment. When caring for pets in their own homes, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, exercise, medication instructions when applicable, and plenty of companionship. My goal is to make time away from family as stress-free as possible for every pet while giving their owners peace of mind. Your pets will be treated with patience, kindness, and the same love and consideration I give my own! 🐾
“If you are looking for a professional, fair, and all around excellent sitter Coleen is where it's at! Professional, courteous, and her house is beautiful! Coleen was flexible with drop off and pick up times. I never had to text her to ask for an update because she would automatically send them! Her dog is well behaved and gets along great with other pups! She also had no problem at all making accommodations for my pup who is elderly. Would absolutely recommend and i can say I found my perfect pupsitter!!”

“Lynda was great she took wonderful care of Sophie during her stay. She kept me well informed with pics and texts during my vacay. I will definitely rebook with her for my next vacation.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Leipsic
Koda Bear really enjoyed staying with Jenny, I know she enjoyed her gigantic fenced in back yard , being able to run and play and make new friends with Jenny’s dogs. That’s something she doesn’t get to do at home since we don’t have a fenced in yard. Jenny was great about keeping us updated on how Koda was making out and sending pictures. Which we really appreciated. I would most definitely use Jenny again if we decide to go away.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Leipsic home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Leipsic.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Leipsic sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in DE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
