“Recently left my puppy with Thelma. I was able to go on vacation without concerns for my pups well being. She took extra precautions to keep him safe by putting up extra barricades around her fence to prevent him from escaping. My pup loved playing with her dogs. i definitely will have her watch my dog again.”

“This was my Shaka's first time with a Sitter since we relocated to Delaware. I was nervous at first because he had not been with a Sitter in over a year since moving here. However, as soon as we had our Meet and Greet with Myra all of that changed. He was nervous at first, but then she took his leash and began talking to him, walking him, rubbing him and giving him toys; I knew that she was the one! He showed me that he trusted her and both of our nerves calmed down. Myra kept me updated with daily texts and photos and I was able to see how relaxed and calm my baby was. I truly appreciate the care and love that Myra gave to my Shaka and I will definitely use her services again. I highly recommend Myra for all of your dog care needs.”

“She was very communicative and accommodating. She sent good photos and dogs seemed happy and comfortable The dogs came home very tired and lovey so they must’ve enjoyed their vacation. Thank you Teresa ❗️”

“She and her family were very kind. She took care of my dog and loved him as if he were her own. My dog also seemed very comfortable. She even surprised me with a thoughtful gift. Thank you for your kindness”

“It was a pleasure to have Charles and Heather. They were awesome and they kept us in the loop daily. Khloe was well taken care of. I would recommend them. Thank you all again.”

“Brooke was great! She was super accommodating with my last minute booking changes. Communication was great and both of our dogs had fun and were well cared for. We will definitely use Brooke again!”

“Barbra was an excellent host to my little Millie. She welcomed her into her home and treated her like a very special member of the family. Millie received excellent care and plenty of attention!”

“This was our first time using Rover and our first time leaving Skye with "strangers", so we were a bit nervous. I read through all of the great reviews here for Jill and Thomas and reached out. Any fears, worries, etc quickly went away. Skye immediately clicked with their dogs and loved running around the amazing backyard. Jill and Thomas kept us updated with pics and video during our trip. It was obvious Skye was in great hands! Towards the end of our trip, we were starting to worry that she wouldn't want to come home when we saw just how at ease she was in their place and with their dogs! :) From booking to pickup, the entire experience was great with these two and we cannot express enough how much we appreciated their kindness. Would highly recommend their services!”

“I’m thankful for Kari & Jospeh’s family for loving and caring my baby like their own, it was stress free time during his stay we’re I don’t have to worry about how he is doing since he is in great hands. My boy would love to come back again,”

“Jen and her husband Dan are the best! Jen is always our first choice of pet sitter and we’ve used her multiple times now. You can tell she has such a heart for dogs and is willing to do whatever they need. Our dog has some separation anxiety, but Jen helps to make him feel so comfortable and at home. He loves her!”

“Zackie was very good with our dog. It was a blessing that we found her and to be so close. She always provided updates with photos and Chanel looked very happy. I love how she gets plenty of exercise with her too. Thank you and we will definitely see you again!”

“Mickey was a very gracious and thoughtful host for our year and a half old wire hair fox terrier. Mickey dealt with a small injury to Gracie‘s paw that occurred just before we dropped her off, keeping her front paw bandaged many times as Gracie decided she did not want to wear it. She also took Gracie for 2 1/2 mile walks, which is exactly what that breed needs. We absolutely recommend Mickey.”

“Emily did a great job watching my dog! She was friendly and accommodating, and my dog felt right at home in her place! She sent me photo updates of how he was doing and took great care of him. I would recommend her to anyone looking to board their dogs in a great home environment. ”

“Elizabeth checked all the boxes on her drop-ins for my cat. She gave me confidence that my cat and apartment were okay while being gone for a week. She even went the extra mile by asking if my smoke detector was working. Very pleased.”

She also provided a lot of details about how the visits went and included lots of pictures. We really appreciate the level of service Gianna provided and will definitely book with her again🥰”

About: Over the past several months, I've had the pleasure of caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior companions. Every pet has their own unique personality and routine, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I have experience administering medications to senior dogs and understand the importance of following care instructions carefully and consistently. Whether it's sticking to feeding schedules, giving medications, going for walks, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. When I house sit, I also take great pride in caring for your home. I always aim to leave it cleaner than I found it, so you can come home to happy pets and a tidy, well-cared-for space. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing both your furry family members and your home are in caring, reliable hands. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week as well as house sit for as long as you need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

“Olga is great! Ruth (my cat) warmed up to her very quickly. Olga is very communicative, provided consistent and timely updates, and was upfront about any scheduling or timing conflicts that we were able to work around without any issues. She was also able to administer daily medication for Ruth while we were away which is a huge plus! Highly recommend Olga for drop-ins and we will absolutely be repeat customers!”

“She was prompt and very patient with my cat. My cat is very skittish and is afraid of everything. Elizabeth came in every day and tried to coax her out and fed her and gave her her medicine. I would definitely use Elizabeth again.”
“We could not have been more satisfied with Luie! He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable leaving our cat for two weeks. Bronco had some health issues within days of us leaving and Luie stepped up without hesitation. Sending us photos and coordinating with family for medicine from the vet. He sent us photos and updates everyday. When we returned home our house and cat were in perfect order. We will always try to book Luie when we need a pet/house sitter!”

“Kaitlyn was awesome with her drop-ins for my two cats. Our older one gets stressed and can have accidents outside of the litter box and she was awesome and patient with him. Definitely will use her again for any future trips.”

“Sam was great! It was our first time away from our kitten so we were nervous but Sam sent detalied updates and pictures during her visits which made us feel so much better. She played with Linus really well which was also important to us too. We also liked that Sam had two cats of her own. Thanks again Sam!”

“Kelsey did a fine job for us. Dogs liked her and they got their daily walk in. This was our second time working with her. We’d request her again but our schedules aren’t working out this time.”

“Teresa accepted my request almost last minute after mine was not doing well at the doggie daycare. She is very experienced, reliable and provided a lot of love and care for Miller. Thank you very much!”

About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

About: Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. I’m also experienced in caring for diabetic cats and administering insulin, as I’ve helped two of my rescues go into remission. I strive to provide the best care possible for pets, and peace of mind for their owners! Please be aware that starting August 25th, I will be at work from 7:35 am-3:05 pm. I’m currently a full time as a high school teacher, so from 7:35-3:05 on week days, I’m usually at work. If I am pet sitting during the week, I head straight to the pets at the end of the work day. On weekends, I am able to dedicate most, if not all, of the day to spending time with your pets. This is also the case over the summer. I provide pet care in client’s homes, per the directions provided by the clients. Prior to caring for your pet(s), I ask that we arrange a time for me to meet your pet(s) and go over all pertinent information regarding their care and safety.
About: I've had my own dogs and a cat my whole life. Additionally I got my first horse at 12 and have been around large and unique animals forever (even pet deer and alpacas!) From my baby Miniature Pinscher to my Great Dane I am capable of providing individualized care. I am currently a student athlete at DSU. I ride on the equestrian team so after my one in person class I am typically in and out of the barn with lots of time to spare as everything else I do for school is online. Pet care fits into my routine as a priority. I recently moved to Dover for school, and miss my dog terribly. Prioritizing your dogs in my schedule is not just a job for me, but a source of happiness! We have a large backyard for fetch and a safe neighborhood for walks and adventures! One block over we have a small park area as well. We have no other animals in the house, just four college girls who are all missing our companions from home. In the house your dog can roam freely about and sleep in my room/bed with me, whatever they are comfortable with.
“Kaitlyn was amazing with our golden retriever, Cooper! He’s 9 years old with some new health issues and meds that can be tricky to give, but she was so patient and gentle with him. We could tell she really cared, kept us updated, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. Highly recommend Kaitlyn!”

“Amber was wonderful with our dog. ShnikelFritz is a rescue and can be quite anxious when left alone. Amber was so good with her, she walked our dog twice,as requested, and sent us great pictures. I felt very comfortable that our dog was in capable loving hands and I would not hesitate to hire. Amber in the future.”

I love all animals and am offering dog walking and dog-sitting services! I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I have also dog-sat for neighbors since I was 13 years old and volunteered at my local animal shelter. Thus, I’m used to and know how to handle and care for 5 pound Chihuahuas and 100 pound mastiffs. In the near future, I hope to open up my own shelter to ensure more dogs and cats find the living homes they truly deserve! If you have a pet or two (or three) that need(s) some attention while you’re away at work, I’m your girl! I currently own a Pit Mix named Nyla Baby and two Guinea pigs named Winston and Wilbur. I can’t wait to meet your babies! :D I’m currently both working and attending school full-time and would like to go down to part time to focus more on personal goals and ambitions. Animals have always been a part of my life, and I would love to meet and help others spoil their babies’ rotten! I can walk your dog in your or my neighborhood, at any dog-friendly park, or anywhere else you’d like! As I stay in an apartment, I cannot house animals overnight but can watch them during the day for some hours! I can care for your pets at your home overnight, or for however long you need be!

I worked as an animal welfare officer previously therefore, I have a lot of knowledge on animals and their breeds. I also had chickens and Guinea pigs. I used to have bearded dragons too! Many many years of experience handling animals :) I currently work full time for a First State Animal Center and SPCA at their brand new sanctuary for rehabilitating dogs, senior dogs to enjoy the end of their life, and will have horses and a goat there soon. Just need to let me know so I can arrange childcare for my son and also I have my full time job on Fridays and Sunday 8-6 but can be there after work if staying overnight! Also willing to pet sit any kind of pet!
About: As a long time user of Rover services for my own pets, I understand the importance of finding a sitter you trust! Thank you for considering me. I’ve been professionally caring for other peoples pets off and on for years. Totaling a little over 10 years. My experience ranges from traditional homes with cats and dogs, to small farms with chickens and goats, to the more exotic birds and ferrets. I always request a meet and greet with my clients before hand so they can introduce me to their pet and walk through their care. I want you to be happy and worry free! For walking or visits in your home, I am comfortable with a hidden key or if you use a smart lock to remotely unlock. I am also familiar with Ring and other security systems so if you’d prefer to give me a guest code I can disarm the system. My schedule does vary a lot week to week, and even seasonally. Best to just ask me how things are currently. Some of my most loyal clients are nurses and really appreciate my flexibility. I only offer drop in visits. I do not offer boarding, house sitting, or daycare. Flexible work schedule, but this is a second job for me. Advance notice is preferable so I can accommodate your schedule and mine as well. My visit cards are always very detailed. They include multiple photos of course, but they go beyond that to include stories of our adventure of the day - from chasing lizards, to playing fetch, or sometimes just snuggling during an afternoon storm. You’ll feel like you’re at home reading about their day.
About: I was raised around dogs since childhood, and have always been involved with animal rescue since I had my own place. We have dogs and cats of our own, and they enjoy having fluffy friends to play with as much as we do! I’m currently available during the day full time, and only work part-time at night. So there’s a lot of availability for either dog walks, emergency boarding needs, or doggy daycare options. We have a fenced in yard out back, and crate-and-rotate when needed. I am experienced in handling all behaviors of dogs, from the fearful/shy to the escape artist.
About: I grew up on a farm in Maryland and were around animals daily! My business is financially affordable and will give you peace of mind that your pet or pets will be taken care of when you are not at home. I’am not working anywhere else at this time and have the time to love and care for customer’s pets. I will follow all my customers instructions to ensure their pets safety and general well being. Sorry I don’t watch pets in my home. I feel your pets are more comfortable in their own homes. Pets feel more relaxed in their own environment.
“Sam was awesome. She went above and beyond for my fur baby. He's such a momma's pup but Sam was extremely patient with him and showered him with pets until he was comfortable. She has a new repeat client and I'd highly recommend her.”

“Brooke was great! She was super accommodating with my last minute booking changes. Communication was great and both of our dogs had fun and were well cared for. We will definitely use Brooke again!”

“Emily did a great job watching my dog! She was friendly and accommodating, and my dog felt right at home in her place! She sent me photo updates of how he was doing and took great care of him. I would recommend her to anyone looking to board their dogs in a great home environment. ”

“We were looking for someone to care for our Luna who would treat her like one of their own and keep her safe while we were away on vacation, and we found that person in Brittany. Her love for animals of all kinds and sizes is obvious and we are so grateful to have found a place like Safe Hayven Fields. The property is a perfect getaway with a large fenced in yard for running and playing, and the pool for pups that like to swim. Brittany is such a great caretaker, sending us daily photos and updates, even going above and beyond to replace Luna's bed when another pup made a hole in hers! We will be back and look forward to having Luna spend more time on the farm 💜”

“Our dog Cooper seemed so happy during his overnight boarding. He normally doesn’t eat at first when being boarded but he was enjoying a treat and eating his breakfast within moments of being dropped off. We received thoughtful updates and photos and Cooper was relaxed, comfortable and had settled in so quickly. Fantastic communication and quick responses made our trip stress free; we knew our dog was in good hands!”

“Jermaine was so accommodating for me as I book him for a last-minute work trip. Text me pictures and update as I was on my busy trip thinking of my baby girl. Definitely will utilize his services again.”
