“Marina was fantastic with Jasper, and very helpful and willing to walk him at the last minute. We brought Jasper home on a weekend and had not yet set up services with a regular dog, so it was a bit of an emergency and Marina was very understanding and warm with him! From the pictures she sent each day, he looked like he was having a great time with her. Jasper would love to spend time with Marina again, anytime!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for around 7 years as I've walked, played, or house-sat my own dog and my neighbors dogs and had a blast doing it. I am available most late mornings and afternoons, weekends are hard because I have soccer reffing for the whole day each day and it would be hard to squeeze a dog walk in. I can easily settle dogs down, crate dogs, and make them feel relaxed without stress when they sense danger or something is off. I am able to control them no matter the strength they have.

“Daniel has been great with taking our dog for her daily walks. He gives her the chance to take her time and explore and then does some enrichment activities with her when they get back. He is always on time and very communicative.”

About: Back in my college days, I worked in a dog daycare with dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes. Before Rover, I mostly pet sat for my friends and family. In addition, I have 14 of experience caring for my own dogs. I understand the struggles that come with leaving your pet with a stranger so please rest assured that your fur baby will be well taken care of. I will always treat your fur baby with lots of love and kindness and adhere to your instructions to the best of my ability. I currently work a 9-5 at a hospital. I have the flexibility to work from home 3x a week so I’m able to do drop ins and walks on those days. In addition, I am available most weekends and holidays. It is always helpful to have written instructions on how to care for your pet. For example, activities they enjoy most, things they absolutely hate, or undesirable behaviors to look for. Let me know their daily routines so I can do my best to make they feel like they’re with family and not just some stranger.

“Sammi is very kind and takes great care of our little dog. Her love of animals really shows. She responds quickly to communications and provides helpful feedback after each walk.”

“Dominique was great with Bear! He accommodated Bear’s grumpiness and was attentive to my concerns! He went above and beyond! Highly recommend him as your walker!”

“Katherine will take such great care of your pup!! You can tell she really loves dogs and goes above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. Very communicative and reliable. Highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds since I was a kid and moved out of my parents house as an adult just to get a cat. I've worked with difficult dogs in the past and am very patient and thorough. I would love to show your furry family member the attention and care they deserve. I'm currently between jobs, so I can spend as much time as you need with your animals. Long walks or frequent drop-ins—I can be there. I am very thorough and detailed, so you can trust any instructions or directions you leave will be followed. I know how important your animals are to you and I want to make sure the next time you see them, they are as safe and happy and as when you left.

“Isabelle walks my goldendoodle furchild every day and she’s such an important part of Maya’s life. To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”

“Our dog Winnie loves going on walks with Aislyn! Aislyn is happy to let her wander and sniff to her heart’s delight, which really helps tire her out in time for some lazy afternoon naps.”

About: I have been caring for friends’ pets for the past on and off for the past few years to make some extra income. I’ve worked with bigger, outside dogs several times, sometimes for weeks at a time, and have a little experience with smaller and inside dogs. I love taking dogs for walks and have experience cleaning up surprises and putting bark collars on particularly squirmy dogs. I also have experience with rabbits and chickens, keeping up with their eating schedules and making sure cages are clean. I work part time and remotely, so my schedule is flexible! I have church and family responsibilities that command my attention during the week, but I still have plenty of time, especially on the weekends! Most of my past experience petsitting has been with overnight stays. I’ve always left the environment better than I found it, and because my work is remote, I will be able to give your pet the care and attention they need and deserve.

About: I have owned 2 dogs and 5 cats over the past 12 years. I have cared for animals with a range of ages, reactivity levels, and health issues. I have previous experience caring for the pets of friends and family. Additionally, I have volunteered at PetSmart to take care of their onsite cats. I'm a rising sophomore college student with a car and an open summer schedule. I have a lot of flexibility to care for your pet wherever and whenever. I can adjust my care for your pet depending on the individual animal. It is difficult to make a blanket statement on how I will treat all pets as they are all so different! I will always act with the utmost care and caution to ensure your pet has a happy and safe experience while you're away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was around 8 years old by playing with and walking neighbor’s and family friends dogs. Since, I have gotten a dog of my own (Bandit) and care for him everyday. We got him as a puppy, so I trained him to sit, give me a paw, and a high five! I take him on walks, feeding him, and play with him. I am currently on summer vacation from the transition between senior year and freshman year of college, so I will be free pretty much all day any day to take care of your puppies! I have a fenced backyard and a friendly, outgoing dog to keep your pup company. I have all the supplies needed to care for a dog - crate (if needed), treats, food/water bowls, etc.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had labs in my family since I was a kid, frequently walked neighbor’s dogs in middle and high school, and worked as a walker and sitter numerous times as an adult. My girlfriend is also a dog walker and sitter, and I often help her with various dogs. I also love taking pictures of pets playing and having fun, so I’ll always try to get some good ones to send you whenever I can! I’m self-employed and mostly work from home, so my schedule is typically super flexible, and I can fit dogs in when needed on any day of the week. I will be attentive to your pet’s needs and communications. I will also be sure to closely follow any care instructions provided to ensure a happy pet and a safe environment for them, according to their specific needs and personality.

About: I have experience from owning my own pets to taking care of other people’s pets as well. I have looked after dogs, cats, and bunnies before and I love to take good care of any animal. I have an open schedule that allows me to be able to take care of pets at consistent and reliable times any day of the week. In my home I personally make sure that my pets are being fed properly and that enough attention is given to them in a loving way.

Jon T.Star Sitter
“Jon, as I like to call him Elliot, is a man of high character, excellence, and integrity. He has watched, walked, and even groomed my dog Maggie multiple times, each time going seamlessly well without any problems. Elliot made sure to take good care of Maggie even buying some of her favorite treats for her (with my permission of course)! When seeing him on Rover I was more than happy to leave a testimonial because even though I’d like to have him for my own, the love and nurture he shows my dog shouldn’t be limited. Overall, great kid, role model and caretaker of all things but especially your pet.”

Raven M.
“Raven is one of the most responsible and trustworthy people I know! I am a crazy pet mom who is very careful about who I leave my pet with, and I would trust Raven to watch her in a heartbeat. If you want to not stress about whether your pets are well take care of, leave them with Raven!”

Samuel S.
“I have known Sam for years and have seen first hand how he treats his pets (2 dogs, 3 cats) with love, care, and great attention to detail. Sam likes to play hide and seek with his dogs and hide their favorite toys as a game. He takes great care in making sure the dogs he sees are loved and treated accordingly. Whether it's his own dog, a friend's dog, or a dog passing by on the streets, he treats each with such love and care. Knowing Sam, I would highly reccomend you choosing him to watch over your precious pups.”

Fiona H.
“Fiona has a dog, Bandit, who she takes care of very well. She takes him on walks, plays with him, and even comforts him when he gets scared during thunderstorms. She loves her dog very much and I’m certain that she will treat any other dog with the same attention and responsibility that she gives to her own. Fiona is a responsible, loving, empathetic person who will be absolutely adored by any human or dog!”

Spencer F.
“I have had the pleasure to work with animals with Spencer multiple times. I am a full time dogwalker and he has been a back up walker for me for many years. He has also worked with me at the dog park supervising dogs there as a job. Spencer has experience in not only dog care but owning and caring for his own family dogs. He is extremely attentive to any needs or changes for a dog, and is the first to step in when there is a concern. He loves to take pictures and play with dogs just for fun. He is loving and caring towards all living creatures no matter how big or small, he is the type of person to bring in an injured wild bird or even an injured wild rodent to the animal shelter to help it be rehabilitated. Truly a friend to all creatures, a kind and considerate person as well.”

Emily R.

“Emily did a great job with our dog Maisey! She was so responsive, sweet, and Maisey felt so comfortable with her!”

Nicole V.

“She was really great with our energetic dogs!”
