“Excellent all-around. They stay in constant communication, which was especially helpful to us. Our dog had some issues, and they stepped up beyond the call of duty to ensure she was safe and sound. Plus, our dog looked to completely enjoy her time away from us!”

“Nicole did a great job taking care of our dog, Kevin, and keeping us updated on his stay along with plenty of photos each day. Her and her family seemed to give Kevin lots of exercise and attention. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah and Karl took excellent care of Wolfy while I was away for a week. He seemed so relaxed and comfortable when I picked him up (and in the pictures they sent each day). They were great with handling his medication. And he seemed to really enjoy the large yard and the sweet attention from their two young children. Highly recommend!”

“Chris and Sarah are amazing!! My husband and I had to go out of town for a few days and were initially nervous about leaving our 5 month old puppy behind. However, Sarah was phenomenal about sending pictures and updates throughout the day to let us know how Olive (our puppy) was doing. From her walks, to her feedings, and her naps; we loved all of the pictures she shared! I am so glad we decided on Chris and Sarah! We are looking forward to bringing Olive back :)”

“Our pup is older, hates larger kennels, and is a huge couch/bed cuddler. We were so grateful that she was well loved and had a lot of space to run around/sniff outside. Jodi worked with us as the drop off and pick up dates were both during winter storms. Thank you for that! We will be reaching out again for future vacations!”

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Candi and the care she took with our two dogs. I’ve never felt so comfortable with “boarding” my dogs while I was gone for a long trip. I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. She also has a beautiful acreage for them to run around and get fresh air. Wish I would have found her earlier! Thank you Candi!”

About: Hi! I’m Lindsey and I’m both a dog and cat lover. I spent years working for Rover and Wag when I was in college and grad school and decided to start offering my services again. I also have experience volunteering with an animal shelter in my home town. Schedule: I work part time - 2-3 hours in the afternoon on weekdays, depending on the day, and four hours Saturday mornings. Other than that, I am available to care for your pet full time. I take pet safety and well-being very seriously. I am open to any special requests for your pet. I live in a house with a fenced-in backyard. There are two dogs and two cats in the house. The house has two levels that can be gated off, so your pet can be separated from the dogs if needed.

“Best experience I've had with Rover. I can't say enough about this family! My dog was SO well cared for. Play time, snuggle time, long walks, assistance with acclimating him to another dog.. I received many updates and photos and felt so comfortable knowing he was in such a good place. I'm already planning to book them for an upcoming trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and more! I love all animals and will treat them with love and all the snuggles. I can administer inhalers for animals, and other medications. My dog and cat are very sweet and love having other animals visit. I look forward to meeting your pets! I currently work from home, and can care for your pets with the flexibility they require. I love going for walks and spending time outdoors. I have a large yard, and many rooms to keep your pets feeling safe and comfortable. My dog and cat are both friendly and enjoy when other animals come to visit.

“Marie's place was a perfect fit for my curious dog. I know he had plent of attention and was even able to help with chores! He was clearly very comfortable and I know we will be asking for Marie's help again.”

About: I have two dogs of my own who I have raised since they were puppies, and they’re now happy senior dogs. Being with them throughout every stage of life has taught me so much about care, patience, and how to truly understand a dog’s needs. I’ve also spent years pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I am attentive, dependable, and go above and beyond to make sure pets are comfortable and well looked after. I’m home from college for the summer and have a very open, flexible schedule. I’m already caring for my two dogs every day, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I have the time and experience to give your dog the attention they need. I keep things calm and consistent, whether your dog is at my home or I am at yours. At home, I have two very friendly dogs and a safe space where everyone is supervised and comfortable. If I am in your home, I stick to your routine and make sure your dog feels relaxed and cared for. I treat every dog with the same attention I give my own.

About: I've taken care of many dogs and even more cats over the last 38 years. I love them and will love yours like my own. Semi retired looking forward to helping people out. I have a very flexible schedule and a very dog friendly home. We have one dog in the home sometimes too because I watch my daughter's dog. We have a big country yard, dogs would be monitored with a leash unless the dog is good at obeying commands. Big yard with walking trails.

“Meta is a fantastic dog sitter! We boarded our high energy husky/lab with her over a long weekend and could not have felt more comfortable and confident in his stay. Meta has a clean quiet house in a safe neighborhood and has a kind, professional, and calm presence. She was thoughtful in her questions to make sure they had a good weekend together. She gave us updates with photos to check in through the weekend and managed to give our pup plenty of exercise with walks, runs, and a playdate while also plenty of relax and cuddle time during the workday and at night. So grateful we were able to connect with Meta to take care of our pup and will definitely be hoping to rebook at some point in the future!”

About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, and most recently had an English bulldog. I have always loved animals and enjoy caring for them. I’m very familiar and experienced with dog behaviors, training and the responsibility of taking care of an animal. My schedule is flexible, and I have plenty of time to care for your pup! Whether you need a dog walker or sitter, you can feel peace of mind knowing your pet is in good care and getting extra attention. 😊 I love walking and playing in the yard with pups! I will be sure to follow any specific instructions on caring for your fur baby while you’re away. I know it’s hard to leave a pet but I want you to feel at ease knowing your dog is in good hands. I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life, and I would love to meet your fur baby!

About: With 25 years of experience, I’ve cared for animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, horses, and more. I got my start on my grandparents’ farm, learning how to care for everything from feral kittens to family pets. As a previous veterinary assistant, I’ve worked with senior animals, administered medications, and supported pets with special needs. My background gives me the confidence to handle animals of all sizes, but my real focus is on providing thoughtful, compassionate care to every pet. Whether it’s training a young dog or comforting an older cat, I treat your animals like family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I have an energetic dog who needs daily walks, and we often hike or visit the dog park—your dog is welcome to join if they’re comfortable in a pack setting. I have 50/50 custody of my two kids (ages 7 and 10), who are in school during the day and may be home in the evenings. I prefer dogs who are kid-friendly, but if your pup needs a quieter space, we have a large, pet-friendly basement where they can relax. We’re an active, animal-loving family, and your pet will be treated like one of our own. Every pet is different, and I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to relax around the house with my own dog, and we enjoy daily walks, playtime, and the occasional hike or dog park visit—if your pet is comfortable with that. When I’m away from home, your dog may be kenneled for safety, but they’ll always get 4–5 potty breaks and plenty of attention throughout the day. With experience as a veterinary assistant, I’m confident handling pets safely and making them feel comfortable in a home environment.
