“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”
“I can’t say enough great things about Candi and the care she took with our two dogs. I’ve never felt so comfortable with “boarding” my dogs while I was gone for a long trip. I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. She also has a beautiful acreage for them to run around and get fresh air. Wish I would have found her earlier! Thank you Candi!”
About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.

About: My Lab pups were immediately potty trained at 8 weeks by my carrying them outside upon awakening. All are kind and gentle loving animals that wear smiles on their faces. Very happy. I am retired and flexible. I live at The House on the Rock and love the outdoors, walking the trails and golf. I am also an early riser. About: I have had animals since I was very young so lots of experience. Have owned 3 rescue dogs who are just like members of my family. Recently, I have been helping friends with their animals when they vacation and am looking to extend my client group to the local area. I am very active so walking dogs is very enjoyable for me. About: Pets that need a lot of attention are my specialty. Because I work from home you can be assured that while I’m watching your pet they’re always in my sight. Very helpful for high energy dogs that need frequent walks and play. Very good for senior dogs who have bladder issues as well. While I do work full time I work from home. I can take dogs on frequent walks through out the day. I’m very considerate of how frequently pets must be checked on. I believe that you know best when it comes to your fur baby. While I don’t have a yard, I live in a very walkable neighborhood with many other dogs if your dog is comfortable around other dogs. I also know how to handle dogs which can’t be around other dogs or kids. I’ve been up at 2am taking a dog out because they’re incontinent. And I’ve been up at 6am for a dog that needs early potty breaks.

About: I have raised and cared for many animals throughout my lifetime ranging from dogs, cats, kittens, cows, raccoons, guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish! There is no animal too big, small, or sassy for me! I love them all! I have experience with bottle fed, new born animals, pets with different feeding patterns in the same house, delivering medicine to pets (including via syringe), outdoor supervision, and caring for temperamental animals. My own dogs are a pitbull and Doberman respectively, so I know firsthand that a breed or size does not define an animal! I am here to provide exceptional care to your fur babies regardless of shape, size, age, or attitude! I work various part-time jobs around the Mount Horeb/Middleton area, but would almost always be available for morning, afternoon, and evening care! About: I have patience. I have worked in a group home and as a job coach for people with special needs. I have always had pets in my home i,e, dogs, cats, gerbils, fish, Chinchilla, and outdoor rabbits. I grew up with pets always around. I have time during the weekday to be able to walk your dogs. “Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”
“I can’t say enough great things about Candi and the care she took with our two dogs. I’ve never felt so comfortable with “boarding” my dogs while I was gone for a long trip. I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.

About: Our family has always been surrounded by animals, and we’ve loved dog sitting for friends and neighbors over the years. While we are not ready to own a dog yet, my kids and I would love to take yours for the weekend! We have a backyard and a large park close by for getting outside so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, play, and exercise. You can expect lots of interaction, attention, and a warm family environment where your pet will feel right at home. I work Monday through Friday but have plenty of time on evenings and weekends for interaction and exercise with your dog. Your dog can expect 2-3 walks a day, being outside as much as possible and lots of interaction from our kids when staying with us. We have a single family home with an un-fenced backyard, however your dog will never be left unsupervised outside. Your dog will receive the same care as if it were ours.
