About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.

About: Hi there! I’m a dedicated pet lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and needs. At home, I share my life with two wonderful dogs and a cat, who keep me on my toes and remind me every day why I love animals so much. I have extensive experience with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, including dogs with mild special needs. I’m very comfortable administering medications (oral, topical—whatever your pup requires) and have done so many times with calm confidence. One of my own dogs struggles with reactivity, so I’ve developed strong skills in managing reactive dogs safely. I know how to read body language, stay calm under pressure, maintain control during walks or encounters, and use positive techniques to keep everyone safe and stress-free. If your dog needs a patient, understanding sitter who won’t get flustered, I’m your person! Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats, rabbits, and even chickens, so I’m happy to look after multi-pet households or other small animals. I work a full-time job Tuesday through Thursday, but I’m mostly available Mondays, Fridays, and full available most weekends for house sitting, drop-ins, or walks. Your pets will get plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and personalized attention during those times—I treat every pet like family. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or feathered!) friends and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I work full time, but am able to work from home Mondays and Fridays and am usually home for weekends. During my work from home days I can occasionally slip away from my work to check in on your pet. It doesn’t matter to me if you have a fenced yard, I will gladly take your dog for a long walk to get all of their energy out. I have never believed letter a dog out in a fenced yard is enough exercise. Dogs need physical and mental stimulation.

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life.I have senior cat that needed care at one time I’m willing to help you with that. I have do very well at training dogs I’m not certified.I have 4 dogs now and it’s brings me joy. I do have a spouse home to take care of them so I can take care of yours no worries there. About: I lived on a farm when I was a little one. Later, I was a trusted house sitter for relatives when they traveled (watching the home and taking care of 2 dogs and 2 cats). I owned my own cat for 15 years. I've taken care of farm animals but not on a regular basis. I'm competant with delivering meds and being really careful with senior pets and those needing special care. I'm one of those people who talk to pets like they are people. I can be there for the extra play and snuggles puppies need, but I think the initial potty training should be by their owner. I carefully listen to the owners and what their schedule is like. Then I morph my schedule to be very close to that so the routine is similar with me and their pet. I adhere to the pet owners instructions. I make myself available for the pet so we learn to trust each other. I show lots of affection, if the pet wants to receive it. If not, I can give them space.

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was little, between dogs, cats, reptiles, and even farm animals such as dairy cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I can take care of pets at any time of day or night, and I can walk dogs after 4 pm. Tuesday & Thursday, I do have class from 7-10 am. I have a fence for my pets, we play with toys, and we go on walks (depending on the weather). My dog will sleep where she is most comfortable and she always goes to the bathroom on time.

I have been a cat owner my whole life, so am very comfortable caring for cats (indoor or outdoor) in any capacity. I have previous experience dog-sitting for both small and large dogs, as well as senior dogs. I have experience providing drop-in visits for potty breaks, walks, feedings, cleaning litter boxes, administering medications, playtime, extra cuddles, as well as staying overnight to provide daily care for pets whose owners are out of town for multiple days. I would love to give you peace of mind when you are away from home to know your pets are being looked after and well cared for! I have a flexible schedule so can do drop-in visits or stay overnight with pets if you live within a decent commuting distance to Madison. Comfortable caring for many different types of animals. I can provide most anything from a quick check-in, to an overnight stay if feasible. I am able to provide walks or outdoor time for dogs, comfortable cleaning litter boxes or other pet cages, and can even administer medications if needed too.

About: Hello my name is Candida (Candi). I have worked in and with Rescues and Humane Societies throughout the State of WI over the last 30 years. I currently have 4 dogs and live out in the country with lots of room to run. I am very familiar with different behavior issues as well as how to work with your pets to get through those issues. This experience comes from fostering many high risk animals over the years. Your pet will be treated the same in my home as he/ she is treated in your home. If they go on your furniture, they are welcome on mine, etc. I am always willing to go the extra mile, if your pet needs a bath or a nail clip, I am happy to do that. I have experience with training, CPR, Giving Meds both by mouth and shot. Some of my friends lovingly call me the crazy dog lady because of my deep love for dogs, they have feelings and emotions just as we do and I always take that into consideration when caring for them. Given the opportunity I will show you that you can trust me to care for your baby while you are away just as you care for them when you are home. I currently work part time at my own small business so my schedule is super flexible and can be easily worked around your needs. This gives me the flexibility to give your pet all the time and attention they need while in my care. I have four dogs that are the sweetest babies. They get along great with all animals as well as kids. I do not have a fenced yard as we live on 80 acres out in the country, but I do have a portable temporary fencing that can be put up for outside time. We have a large area in the lower level of our home for inside play time. As I said earlier, when your pet is in my home, they will be treated just as they are when they are with you. I know how important routine is to their little minds. If you feed at a certain time, I will follow that routine. I know mine have a very set routine, they surely know when dinner time is. :o)

About: I think something, I can proudly say is that I have people meet me once and trust me to watch their pets. I’ve had pets and I have taken care of friends and families pets since I was 12. Truly bonding with my pets was the highlight of my childhood, an experience that I know not every child is fortunate to have. I’ve seen my dog from puppyhood to his frosty senior days. The care is different of course, diets and lifestyle routine slow down and more careful attention is needed. Love is another key, all animals are deserving of being treated with respect and kindness. That includes the animals in the forest, since I work outdoors I see a lot of birds and critters and each one’s life is valued and admired. Like my job, the environment of the pet is important. The initial meeting with your pet, getting familiar and making sure the pet feels like they can trust their caretaker is crucial.
